Apartment holiday rentals in Downtown Jersey City

Enjoyed our stay on 4th Street. The apartment is clean and comfortable—a great spot for exploring local eateries and accessing the bus to NYC. And Mei is a responsive host.

We had a fantastic stay at Cerise and Isaac’s beautiful apartment. It was perfect for our needs, with two good sized bedrooms for us and our daughter as well as two bathrooms, which were all very clean. The kitchen space had everything we needed and the apartment was tastefully decorated throughout. Isaac was always on hand for any help we needed and was more than happy to offer recommendations for the local area and NYC. Everything was within each reach as the PATH station into the city was just a short walk away. We would not hesitate to book this apartment again when visiting NY in the future! Thanks so much guys!

Great apartment, equipped with everything: well-stocked kitchen, bathroom with two sets of towels (because I stayed 10 nights). Zoey is super attentive and always quick to respond to messages, great communication. The only downside: the room is not well insulated acoustically, and there are no blackout curtains on the window above the bed. Personally, it doesn't bother me to sleep with natural light, but if someone is bothering it can be a problem. All in all, an apartment that I would recommend and would definitely consider it for my next trip to NYC. It's about a 10/12 minute walk from Journal Square where you can take the PATH and be in New York in 20 minutes. There is a fairly well-stocked supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Clean apartment.

The apartment is spacious, spotless, and only several short blocks from the PATH. Downstairs are two large bedrooms (both including closets), laundry room, and bathroom. Upstairs are a comfortable kitchen with breakfast table plus large dining room and large living room, both spare, as shown. We had thought we'd have guests but didn't in the end, so the two of us happily spent most of our non-sleeping time in the kitchen. I worried that the front bedroom would get too much street noise, but it did not. We took advantage of the Peloton and washer/dryer, but not the piano. David is very responsive. It turned out to be a good stay.

Such a cute spot to stay while town for a few days. As noted in the listing, parking can be a bit of a challenge but that’s city life for you. We’re (former) locals so the neighborhood was very familiar, safe and quiet. The apartment was great, very cozy, and Brooke was fantastic at communication, very responsive and helpful. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again.

Let me start of by saying - AMAZING VIEW. Totally worth the amount we paid for our stay....Loved the place, great amenities, beautiful place Would love to come again and stay at this place.

Great stay in Jersey City! The apartment was clean, stylish, and exactly as described. The location is perfect—close to the PATH train, making it easy to get to Manhattan. Monte was responsive and very helpful. Highly recommended!

I visited NJ and NYC area for Memorial Day with my wife and folks and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The place is exquisite and quite affordable for larger parties. Firstly, it is in proximity to the Path Station. The neighborhood is safe and thriving and there's plenty to do in the surrounding areas - cafes, shops, nice parks and plenty of peace and calm amidst the bustling city. Secondly, the appliances, cutlery, linens and especially the vibe is outstanding. The place feels homely and the owners have made sure to keep the aesthetic unique and resonant with the local NYC culture. Finally, the owners are extremely responsive and accommodating. We got into the city early and Mete was really flexible with the last day change of plans. I would highly recommend this place and would give it a solid 10. This is going to be my go-to listing everytime I'm in the NYC metro region.

I had a fantastic stay! The apartment was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Communication with the host was smooth and timey they were kind, attentive, and made sure everything was just right during my visit. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect place for a NY weekend. Calm and nice area and easy to reach Manhattan via train. A cosy studio with everything you need. I would definitely book here again.

Terence was a great host; friendly, reached out and promptly answered a question that I had which proved to be quite helpful. The Airbnb was clean and had everything we needed. I enjoyed staying in Hoboken; it’s a nice city in its own right with brownstones, lots of restaurants and the river walk which provides a great view of NYC.

I had a great stay here. The unit was just as described, clean and comfortable. There is a short walk and bus ride to NYC that takes about 30-45 minutes, so plan ahead. Nestor was responsive by phone and a great host overall.

Tom's place was awesome! It was right across the street from a beautiful / clean park so my toddler was very happy about that and had a great time playing during our down time. The location was perfect as we were going on a cruise and stayed at Toms for a couple days before departure at Cape Liberty. Tom genuinely cared about our experience and there was a minor cleanliness issue when we arrived and he rectified it quickly which says a lot about how much he cares. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great time! To our pleasant surprise, breakfast was included. The staff was welcoming. Possibility of going to the rooftop offering a breathtaking view of the New York financial district. The hotel is well served by public transport. We would recommend it without hesitation!

I can’t say enough positive things about Mao’s Victorian brownstone. From the decor, to the amenities, to the recommendations and travel instructions provided, Mao and Chisako were incredibly helpful hosts. You can feel the love and kindness they put into their home, and how much they care about it and everyone who stays there. We absolutely loved Hoboken, it was such a wonderful and walkable (and run-able!) area. Mao and Chisako’s instructions for traveling to NYC were so helpful and clear and we were able to follow all their advice. We tried all forms of transportation, from the bus to the subway to the ferry to Lyft! All were super easy and convenient. I loved being able to wake up and walk to the local bagel shop or convenience store. My husband, my mother, and myself came to stay for my mother’s 70th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect place for the 3 of us, not to mention the beds were super comfy! An excellent place to stay in Harlem, centrally located near the 125th street subway station. You can easily get anywhere you want to go quick and easy. Lots of good restaurants nearby, along with bodegas and a (albeit expensive) grocery store. Its nice that the owners live on site, and they were very helpful and friendly. Having a big tub with jets in the room is a huge bonus if you aren't used to the amount of walking you are in for in NY. I'll definitely be back!

This Apt. was better then heaven. The view to Hudson River, the quietness, the charming interior and the bike path along the river are unique. We want to come again.

Nicely renovated basement apartment. Ben was a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed and having a designated parking spot was great. It is a short walk away from the apartment. Backyard was ideal has we were traveling with our dog. Location was perfect for our event at Liberty State Park. Would recommend if you plan to visit Jersey City.

This was the perfect place to stay for my trip. Awesome vibe at night in the hot tub with all the lights on, and very cozy and clean inside as well. Super detailed instructions on how to get there, get inside etc. Very responsive host 👍I had a great time. Lots of good places to eat in this area, too. 10/10 would definitely come back in the future.

The view is priceless. By day, by night, anytime. The apartment itself is great, too: spacious, well furnished, a huge kitchen, perfectly equipped. Less than 20 minutes by bus to Times Square, but located in a calm and safe neighborhood across the Hudson River. For some, the steps up to the fifth floor might be an impediment, but that’s really the only issue I could think of. Absolute recommendation!
