Double Bay is a stylish harbourside enclave on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour. The apartment is located in a charming and very well kept art deco building. Marmle entry, wooden panels all this is part of the typical charm of the building. Our apartment is very well kept and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. As we love to sleep well while we are away from home we invested in a first quality bed, mattress and a very quiet sleeping bed room :)! Love a good bed and quietness!

The place is in a great location, 5 min walk to the ferry point which gets you into the CBD in less than 10 minutes. The residents who live in the building are very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is beautiful with lots of space, limited space for storing belongings/food especially in the kitchen as cupboards and fridge were mostly filled with hosts items but this didn’t impact us too much on our short stay. Overall a great stay :)

Fabulous location, right next to Double Bay ferry, beach, red leaf pool and shopping at Double Bay The inside property was clean, very comfortable, outside property and entrance could do with a little renovation. Didn’t bother us though! Great stay for our family when getting over our jet lag and close to Aussie family so perfect. La’Abode staff answered all our questions almost immediately, 5star service.

Right in the heart of Double Bay, this apartment was the perfect base while we were visitng friends and family who live in that area. The buildling where the flat is localed is on the main road so it was convenient for taking the bus to/from the beaches. Restaurants, shops and the ferry were all an easy walk away. The flat was stylish, convenient and well-equipped. Communication and the check-in and out process was efficient and easy. Would recommend.

There are almost no places to stay in the eastern suburbs which is no doubt one of the very best areas in Sydney. Yeah, sure you can stay in Bondi, but Bondi's easy to get to from here in any case. Wolseley Road, Point Piper is perhaps the most exclusive residential street in Sydney which makes it a particularly interesting and pleasant place to stay. If you take a stroll towards the end of the street and walk down a little lane by the yacht club you''ll come to a sweet little beach which is usually very quiet and peaceful. On the way, check out the cute little park down some stairs which has the best views over the harbour back to the city. It's easy to get to the city and, in the other direction, what I think is the very best part of Sydney Harbour (Watson's Bay) by catching the 324/5 bus from stops a minute's walk from this airbnb. Most hospitable people and a private space which meets all one's needs.

My family had a lovely five days at The Darling in Rushcutters Bay. The house and pool area had so many different and interesting spaces to enjoy different times of the day. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely do this stay again. Thanks to our host's for making everything run smoothly.
