Absolutely perfect. One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. And the best host experience as well with Marianna. I kept saying the whole stay “this is my dream house!” Perfect for families. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day we were there. We hope to be back soon!

This house is lovely and the view is gorgeous. We spent much of our time on the porch enjoying the pool, hot tub and view. I highly recommend some time relaxing at the house. Fabian was very helpful in planning excursions. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of hot water! We also were grateful for enough seating for everyone in our party both outside and in the living room. We did have a 1 year old with us and that was challenging in the layout of the house but we made it work. Highly recommend this house and this area. So much to do! Do the daytime Mangrove tour and guided MA park tour. Pura Vida!

If Casa Serena is available BOOK IT now!!! The most wonderful, magical place I have ever stayed! The house and property are perfect with amazing views, wildlife, plants, waterfalls, comfy beds, beautiful pool, and more. Wai, the concierge, helped me from the moment I booked until the moment we left. He always responded quickly and helped me plan our itinerary, from activities, private chef our first night (did not want to worry about food after a long travel day), transportation, beach and restaurant recommendations. He was invaluable and can't brag on him enough! Gera the housekeeper is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She kept the place spotless including laundry, dishes and the best starfruit juice made from a tree right on the property! I know it can't be guaranteed but we did have a troop of Capuchin monkeys come and eat and play in the trees surrounding the veranda on our first morning. We loved Costa Rica and Casa Serena! Pura Vida!!!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom property. The ocean sunset views were absolutely breathtaking every evening, and waking up to the sounds of the jungle was surreal. The unit was spotless, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed — the air conditioning was a huge plus in the warm climate! The infinity pool was the highlight of our trip — peaceful, clean, and surrounded by lush greenery with panoramic views of the ocean. It felt like our own private slice of paradise. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made check-in seamless. You can tell this place is thoughtfully maintained with a lot of care. Whether you're relaxing poolside or enjoying the vibrant natural setting, this spot is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and take in the beauty of Costa Rica. Would absolutely stay here again. A perfect blend of comfort, nature, and luxury!

I’d give Soul House a solid 4.7. Pros: beautiful setting, with exciting wildlife coming and going. Saw Macaws, Toucans, Howler monkeys. Plenty of space for my family, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The AC units provided much needed relief. The patio was super. Used the hammocks, the workout spaces, and enjoyed dinner outside with the sound of rain cascading off the roof. Enjoyed falling asleep to the tree frogs. (Tho in the middle of the night some other creatures got really loud, but not for long). Fer was a great host. Very warm and helpful. Had someone help us open coconuts with a machete for fresh coconut. Great recommendations (especially about the fake parking attendants at Manuel Antonio). Very close to the store and restaurants. Cons: there r 3 showers but if you use more than 1 at a time the pressure drops (and it’s already fairly low). No hot water, but warm enough. And with the heat, the cooler water was refreshing. Would recommend and stay again.

We were all so excited when we arrived. The house and the view were exactly what the photos showed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the amazing view around us. The restaurants near us were all great. Karen the owner and Olmer the concierge were great at responding to our questions. We would definitely love to go back!!

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Vanessa was great to work with! Unfortunately we were only there three nights. Vanessa arranged a private chef for the day we arrived. It was my son’s 18th birthday and it was great to have a delicious meal prepared for us after a day traveling. She also handled ordering food delivery for us one night! The access/shuttle to the beach club was great and once again Vanessa took care of that for us as well. We spent the last day at Manuel Antonio National Park with a naturalist that was arranged for us and she was fantastic. The property had a wonderful view and felt very private at the top of the mountain. The kitchen had all that we needed and the pool was a great way to finish each day. If we return to this area we will definitely stay here again!

M.A./Uvita were at the end of the trip and we didn’t get to spend as much time there. But we will definitely be back and would 100% stay at the same location or another property managed by Nico. The house was very clean and cool. Because of the rain the pool had leaves in it the night we got there but when we returned from our tour the next day the pool had been cleaned and it was refreshing and nice to chill around in the late afternoon. Nico and the property management offered excellent timely service including local recommendations, easy instructions to find things, and helping set up transportation. We needed a few days of rest away from the noise and routine of the city, and in this house we found a lot of peace, nature and tranquility. In addition to some super friendly dogs and access to basic services about 10 minutes away.

We stayed at Doug's house for one night, 4 families, with 4 children. The area is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica. It has a spectacular view and if you like the cold weather, it is the ideal place for a vacation outside the city but quite close. The cabin is super cozy, equipped with everything we needed for the needs of all families, Doug was super attentive from the first moment. We had a really good time - we would recommend it and will definitely return. We loved it!

A beautiful place to relax in the middle of nature, with the sound of the river, a delicious cold, the place is impeccable. We loved it! Very close to Pedregoso experience, a unique gastronomic experience!

If you're looking for peace & quiet with a stellar view - look no further! The bed was comfy, the blankets were cozy, & it had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. Directions to find the place we're spot on. There's a small amount of gravel road that I needed to navigate but it was in good shape (4x4 wasn't necessary). If you're expecting hot & humid, this isn't your place. It's cool in the mornings & evenings but nothing a sweater can't handle. There's a super cozy fireplace that really allows you to settle in for some Netflix at the end of a busy day of tours or hiking. Very private - I only saw cars in the road but heard nothing but birds & nature. This place is exactly as described & so lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Ricardo was a superb host - kind, generous, & hospitable. He made sure I had everything I needed. There's some great restaurants nearby & every morning Turrialba Volcano greets you in the distance.

Our stay was great! This modern house is in a great peaceful location. We saw many birds right on the property, and the views from the front porch are amazing! The space heaters made our stay comfortable on the cool nights. I made it up the lane in a Nissan Sentra, although when it rains the last few meters are a bit slippery. If you have experience on rough roads you will be on with an automobile, although a 4x4 is ideal. Koen was always responsive and super friendly and helpful! I can definitely recommend this place and hope to go back someday!

This is a beautiful house with everything we needed. The views are beautiful as well. There are some neighborhood dogs that can bark at night (not every night) so bring your ear plugs. We would definitely stay here again.
