Sycamore Cottage is a lovely detached cottage situated in the village of Killeenaran, fifteen miles from Galway. All ground floor the cottage can sleep four people in two double bedrooms one with an en-suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area and oil-burning stove. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Ideally a car is necessary when staying at this cottage.

Spent an excellent few days with Paul and Claire in Kinvarra. The room was perfect for myself as a solo traveler. Breakfast was provided and was perfect. I really appreciated Paul's recommendations for things to do and he even tipped me off on which was the best pub for live music. Had a wonderful stay.

Siamo stati accolti con cordialità e gentilezza. Camera con letti molto comodi, dove abbiamo dormito benissimo. Bagno in comune, ma estremamente pulito e completo di ogni prodotto utile. Sala comune con giochi molto graditi e oggetti da comprare (piccoli gift, spazzolini e frigo bar con prezzi convenienti). Presente ferro da stiro e libri da leggere. Colazione con cereali, latte, marmellata, pane, ecc molto gradita In camera abbiamo trovato varie prese/riduttori e un guida molto precisa sui locali della zona e tutte le info che potrebbero servirti. Persino la tv con una chiavetta usb con film! Bruno e sua moglie sono colmi di attenzioni per i loro ospiti. La loro casa è in posizione splendida. Kinvara offre molti locali e ottimi tramonti. Abbiamo cenato in un posto consigliato da Bruno che è stato perfetto. Super consigliato iil soiggiorno da Bruno.

Es war alles sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es hingen Erklärungen an der Wand wie etwas funktioniert, was wir sehr toll fanden. Es gab die Möglichkeit sich was zu trinken zu machen. Zudem gab es Gebäck. Neben dem Haus standen Kälbchen und Pferde, also sehr ländlich. Im Dorf selber ist nicht viel zutun, man gelangt aber schnell nach Galway. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Maria and family made my stay extremely welcoming. From the moment I arrived to when I left. The communication was on point and we were able to arrange things very easily. The accommodation was as descried and I slept very well :) I hadn't been great at letting them know my arrival time, so when I arrived no one was in , however, I was able to let myself in very easily which was great and they were all very accommodating. I had some lovely chats with the family while I was there and Maria had breakfast ready for me every morning was was lovely, especially as I had a lie in for the duration of my stay :) The Burren was easy to find, you do need a car as it is too much of a walk to get into Town, however, for me this suited me perfectly and this is mentioned in the bio. Next time I'm passing through Kinvara, no doubt I will get back in touch . Thanks guys ! It was a pleasure :)

Très bien reçus par Patrick et Angela. Le logement était parfait, par contre 2 escaliers, donc attention pour les personnes ayant des difficultés à monter des marches. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, avec une assiette composée à l'anglaise, préparée par Patrick, et du pain maison fait par Angela. Nous recommandons sans problème cette adresse.

Best BNB of the four we’ve stayed in (Nth Ire & Ireland) so far. We really appreciated the personal response and recommendations. Mairtin and Delores are exceptionally friendly and fun living hosts who made us feel totally at ease. Local pub is a must do (even tho they don’t do food) … however, don’t be put off thinking it’s closed…. Walk around the back and you’ll find a welcoming party to enjoy a drink or two. Beautiful views, comfy bed and a superb offering for breaky.
