Barbara was a great host. The house was perfect come rain or shine. The Spar shop in Carraroe is only 5 minutes away and was as good as any medium sized supermarket with great choice. Don’t miss the Realt pub if you want a good pint of Guinness

Grainne and Dominic are kind and helpful hosts. They are quick to respond. The home is comfortable and private. The windows and patio face the bay so there’s a wonderful view. Easy drives to the Kilkee cliffs. We would definitely recommend this home and the hosts.

Loved staying at Fauve’s place, the cottage near Kinvara. Housed my wife and I, our two kids, and my parents. On a secluded coastal/marsh drive off Galway Bay, it’s peaceful and quiet. The house is just as beautiful as the photos. Fauve knows how to decorate - it’s like a showroom inside. Comfy beds, quiet surroundings, huge yard space for the kids to play. The Travellers Inn is just down the street to grab a pint! Don’t hesitate booking this place, it was awesome.

Clare's place is exactly as described. Perfect for our group. Walkable to everywhere in Kilkee, within 5 minutes of restaurants, cafes, beach, and the grocery store. 20 minute walk to cliffs. The house is beautiful, with comfortable beds, and nice rooms. Very nice back patio. No complaints and would love to stay again.

Very convenient, few mins walk from Armada hotel, all rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. All amenities and more for staycation. Responsive host.

A fantastic location with views in every direction, each very special and therefore never boring. A good starting point for several (hiking) tours. Get tips on this, too. Sun (if you shine) from morning to evening at or in the house. We have already decided after a few days that we want to come back next year. To relax and unwind one of the best accommodations I know. And don't worry about the driveway, is really absolutely doable and does not require a special car or a special driver.

we had a wonderful few days... perfect location for a visit to the Aran islands and Spiddal area. Niamh gave us a warm welcome, the house was spotlessly clean and cleverly set up for a small space. We had a small issue with WiFi at intervals but we would have no hesitation in visiting again...thank you Niamh..We highly recommend a visit to An Teach Dubh

Amazing place with sofas that recline and beds that are so comfortable we were reluctant to leave. Lovely, spacious living and dining areas with fully equipped amenities. You get a sense that Kieran takes great pride in keeping his place spick and span, and wants his guests to have a wonderful stay. A very generous host. Even the sheets are pressed to hotel standards. Fantastic location with a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood which is a short enjoyable walk to the town centre. Would love to return again.

Gorgeous house. So clean and cosy. Alison is an excellent host, messaged us with all we needed to know about the house before we got there. She left homemade bread and eggs for when we arrived, and she even picked up and dropped off our bags to and from the ferry! The house is in a great location, lovely pub down the road for food drinks and music. 15 mins walk to the village. Highly recommend!! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was the perfect for me and my family and the location was stunning. Siobhan was responsive and helpful with any questions I had during our stay. The location is perfect if you're looking for somewhere quiet and scenic but still close to Galway. I highly recommend!

A clean and well presented house. We self catered everything we needed was there. Ideally located away from the bustle of the city but close enough to access. 20 mins walk to city centre. 5 min drive to Lidl. Gillian was very helpful and prompt with responses couldn’t have asked for more. Ideal for our party of four would certainly stay again.

Very enjoyable stay, we were visiting for a local wedding. The house was perfect, plenty of tea and coffee supplied. Lots of space for the 8 guests. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, new and modern unit with amazing water views. Easy walk to Salthill boardwalk, shops & restaurants. You can walk to Galway but it's at least 30 minutes if weather cooperates that day. The location is better to be by beach than downtown Galway but I loved being out of the tourist chaos! One bedroom is small but the other two bedrooms are very large. All beds are comfortable and there are nice linens. The one en suite bath and a hallway bathroom are modern tub/showers and there's lots of hot water. The only issue was there was no manual to figure out some of the high tech gadgets such as fireplace, dryer, etc. Also the living room couch is nice for about three adults to watch a movie and the only other furniture is dining tables/chairs and a desk (no chair). Strong Wi-Fi once we found the password! I'd stay here again as it was super lovely unit and so peaceful

We had a great 3 night stay in Mary's place. Mary was extremely helpful and prompt with communication. The location of the house was exactly what we wanted. Lovely pub and restaurants close by and easy access to all the attractions of West Clare. The house was spacious and had everything we needed for the few days. Mary left some lovely treats for us which was much appreciated.

Our stay here was the highlight of our two-week trip along Ireland’s Emerald Coast! The home is spacious, stylish, and comfortable—perfect for cooking meals in the unique circular kitchen, taking a bath in the gorgeous clawfoot tub or sitting by the fireplace reading. The views of the Bay and the Aran Islands were absolutely stunning, and with the water just steps away, we felt truly connected to the landscape. Bernie and Val were a wonderful hosts—quick to respond and full of helpful tips, especially for visiting Inishmore, where we had an amazing day exploring by e-bike. One night, Val brought fresh lobsters, prepared them perfectly, and joined us for wine and great conversation. We especially enjoyed the welcome basket upon arrival. Kayaking in the bay was unforgettable, with seals bobbing nearby from the colony across the water. Between the scenery, the comfort, and the warm hospitality, this stay was pure magic. We can’t recommend it enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Myself and my friends had the best stay in this Airbnb. The house was beautiful and in immaculate condition. There was so much to do, we never got bored. We played ping-pong, board games & used the jacuzzi which was absolutely amazing. The host Gillian was so friendly and made sure we felt comfortable and very at home there. I couldn’t fault anything about this stay! We will be sure to return in the future 😃

My friend and I had the most lovely stay with David and Cheryl. They made us feel very at home and cared for with their recommendations for what to do in the area and thoughtful conversations over delicious coffee + breakfast. The home was beautiful and very comfortable + cozy. We hope to be back!

we had a wonderful stay, the house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Sandra' communication was quick and clear, she had helpfull suggestions like bike rental delivery to the house.

We stayed for one night at Cathy’s on our way to the Kilkee Cliffs. The house provided everything that was needed. You can even sit outside and enjoy the courtyard. The environment is pretty quiet and in the direct area there is not much to do. We discovered that many buildings in the village are not inhabited permanently but the village nonetheless appears tidy, friendly and cared for. The small harbour is a perfect stop for biking tourists. The cottage itself is nicely decorated, well equipped and rather stylish. We liked it there. Later we also took the ferry to Tabert. Nice experience!

This house is so spacious, comfortable, clean, bright, modern and peaceful. It is a bit away from the main village, but there are plenty of taxi's. Michael, who collected us from the airport was so helpful and even stopped by the local shop for us to stock up. He made sure we knew how everything worked in the house. We had a lovely tour of the island by local man Tommy, who was very knowledgable and was so giving with his time. Then Mairtin, who is fun and a character took us back to the airport on our return home This is a perfect house for a family or a large gathering of people. I would highly recommend this house.
