If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Summer at the Ruskehoeve!

The Ruskehoeve is an old forest farm in the atmosphere of the past. There are 3 bedrooms. Layout; hall, shower, toilet, kitchen, loft with staircase entrance to cozy sleeping loft where there are two single beds and a toilet. At the rear there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (160/200). The living room is heated with a Tigchel stove. Adjacent to the living room is the downstairs bedroom with double bed (140/200). Behind and in front of the house, you can sit outside.

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel"

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The atmospheric log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can prepare yourself your own coffee or tea in the cabin.

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Verscholen in het groen ligt de blokhut. Een plek met veel privacy aan de rand van het bos en met een mooi uitzicht. In de blokhut vind je een tweepersoonsbed, een keuken met koelkast en kookplaat, een zithoek, een eethoek en een kledingkast. Bij mooi weer kun je op het terras van de blokhut zitten. De douche, het toilet en een fonteintje bevinden zich in een aparte sanitairunit op zo'n 25 meter van de blokhut en worden alleen door de gasten van de blokhut gebruikt.

Guesthouse "De Bisschops' Stee"

Ons woonhuis is een voormalig bedrijfspand en had nogal wat ruimte over. Waar voorheen de winkel-/kantoorruimtes met klantentoilet waren, hebben wij in het najaar van 2019 een slaapkamer, woonruimte met kitchenette (met koffie- en thee voorzieningen/koelkastje) en toilet/douche gerealiseerd. De winkelentree is nu een privé-ingang voor ons gastenverblijf. Ontbijt bestellen is mogelijk, dit is echter niet standaard bij de basisprijs inbegrepen.

This comfortable holiday home is right on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/entrance gate or rules. The houses at the park are both permanently inhabited and rented for vacation. You can go hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities like Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

It Ko Huske is a bed and breakfast on the border of Friesland and Groningen. Enjoy a comfortable and fully furnished 2-room apartment with private front door, kitchen, bathroom and various terraces to sit outside for a while. You can book the B&B for a weekend break, but also as a pied-a-terre for a business and/or longer stay, this apartment is extremely suitable. You'll feel right at home!

In the former horse stable of the monumental farmhouse in Bakkeveen, a beautiful and comfortable 2-person apartment is located. The horse stable is located next door and has a view of the Slotplaats estate. Everything is a stone's throw from the beautiful forests and nature of Bakkeveen, where beautiful walks and bike rides can be made directly from the cottage.
