The house is located on the edge of the forest of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park, and within walking distance of the natural bathing water of the Canadameer. In this area you can enjoy walking and cycling, and there is plenty of space for sporting activities.

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

In the log cabin you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and hob, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace of the log cabin. The shower, toilet and sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.

A walk is easily started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bicycles, you can explore the wooded, rural area via all kinds of routes. A place to unwind!
