Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Dodanduwa

We had a very comfortable stay in the apartment, it was a great place to base ourselves and travel around Galle and the southern beaches each day. If we had any issues, they were responded to quickly and efficiently. The apartment security is very good, and so helpful having a supermarket in the complex. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice apartments and easy communication with the owner. We had 2 sets of bed linen, A\C + fan in each bedroom, washing machine. Any question or problem was quickly resolved by the owner.

The Old Chilli House apartment is an amazing and well designed place. From the moment that I stepped inside, I already felt at home. Everything is beautifully arranged, super clean and attention has been put to detail. Enough space is also given, the apartment even has a walk in closet. I absolutely loved the balcony and the whole vibe of the apartment. It is away from the hustle and bustle. On top, Kris and his family are perfect hosts, and the breakfast was great. Kris is a super friendly, funny and energetic guy, that really cares about his guests! Highly recommended place 😀!

I had a fantastic stay at Coloration Villa! Sumudu is a wonderful host—welcoming, helpful, and always available. The villa is modern, clean, and surrounded by nature, offering the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. I loved the spacious rooms, open-plan kitchen, and the peaceful garden. The location is ideal—close to Hikkaduwa’s beaches and nightlife, yet tucked away in a quiet village. Whether you’re here to surf, explore, or just unwind, this place is perfect. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

This incredible property, which is absolutely as described and photographed, delighted us every day! Nishantha and his family are incredibly attentive and helpful, we are very excited to meet them, thank you for your hospitality. We had at our disposal a beautiful house with a private and well-maintained territory, a swimming pool overlooking the lake. A separate area for BBQ, in the evening beautiful lighting turns on, in the form of light bulbs, there was a feeling of some kind of holiday. The fauna in Sri Lanka, in general is very rich, and in this villa we saw lizards, a peacock came to visit, many chipmunks and beautiful birds. I am absolutely sure that by choosing this place - you will not regret anything.

Amazing place with everything you need, it's actually more beautiful than the photos. We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect and convenient! The host family is very friendly and provided useful information about nearby attractions and food! Very nice welcome from Amila and her family. The house is a little off-center, but Alima transports us wherever you want. The price is reasonable and displayed in the room. Alima and his wife cooks very well. We recommend it.

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

We had a nice time. The garden is huge and the house was clean and we had a lot of space as a family. You can explore the surroundings on foot. Restaurants, supermarkets and the beach can be explored on foot. A great neighborhood and most importantly a very calm one. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. The family even made us breakfast in the morning, which was incredibly delicious. We are very sad to have to go and keep the house in beautiful memory . See you soon , Anna and Tim

Fabulous villa for our two families of 4 adults and 4 children (all under 5). The pool was the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka with a guard on duty to clean daily as well as being located in a lush garden where we had water monitors, mongoose and eagles fly above us. Jayantha is a true master in the kitchen. Please order his dinners if you stay as they taste delightful as well as cheaper than out at restaurants. The breakfast was even better with different options each day (egg hoppers, pancakes, omelette plus fresh fruit and toast). If we return we would not hesitate to stay again.

Staying at the Yellow House was outstanding. It is located in a quiet side street in the middle of the countryside. And already 300m down is the beach and the main road from where you can reach all the tourist destinations. But there is also plenty to discover on site. For example, kayak tours or the fish market and the fishermen's dock. My personal favorite place was the terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the variety of exotic animals and plants in the garden. Tip: pick a fresh star fruit from the tree :) Speaking of food. You should definitely take this around the corner from your host and his family on the roof terrace. You can't get it better. Your wishes will be taken into account. And everything else is done to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Just ask. I was picked up from Colombo and shown a lot. I'd love to come back :)

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

Amazing house with even prettier garden! You have a place for yourself, away from the street but close enough to the supermarket (2 mins) and the beach (1,2 km). The place is calm, private, you can really enjoy your stay in peace and calm. For this amazing price I don't think we could find a better place to stay!

We spent a month here – it's almost a perfect place! The Internet is ideal for work, including video calls. Comfortable bed with new mattress. The bathroom is a delight! The toilet and shower are separated from each other, and the hot water is really unlimited hot water and with great pressure. The kitchen has everything except the Turks for making coffee, but it's a small thing. We made friends with our dogs and played often. They really bark, but only when someone comes, which in our case was very rare. The hosts are wonderful people, it was easy and pleasant to communicate on all issues. There is no noise insulation between our and neighboring apartments at the expense of a thin door in an adjacent wall. We rented this apartment too and used them as a separate office. When someone arrives at the villa, you can hear absolutely everything that happens on the street at any time of the day. In any case, my rating is 10 out of 10 because all the listed pros more than compensate for the minor shortcomings. Thank you!

Sameera was very helpful from the beginning. We went to his place when a monkey created an electric shortage in the whole country, and he made sure that we had enough water, lamp and kept us posted about all the updates. During our stay we were able to enjoy the monkey family in the trees around, the peacock that was chilling around, many birds and reptiles. It is surrounded by the jungle so the view and vibe is great, be prepared to fight mosquitos if they usually love you (my partner didn't get as much as me). The kitchen was the best equipped we had so far in any Airbnb we had, as digital nomad since 7 months around Asia, it was very appreciated. The bed was comfortable. We struggled a bit with the washing machine that is half manual, and wasn't draining the water completely. Wi-Fi lagged a bit per moment, but nothing excessive, it was otherwise fast and perfect to work with. Overall a very great quality price, we highly recommend Sameera's place.

Had a wonderful stay at Sam's Condominium-neat and clean apartment with stunning views and the soothing sound of waves . The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect coastal escape.

We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

As soon as we arrived, Chanuka received us with sincerity. Their welcome drinks were amazing. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. We were impressed by the sincerity of their entire family. And the check-out day was truly amazing. They organized breakfast and lunch for us. We had a wonderful few days. Those who want to visit Galle can rest assured in this house. Wowww. Where do I even begin?! We were stunned by how much more beautiful this place was in person. It exceeded all our expectations!! The location can’t be beat. Corner unit, two floors, multiple balconies & floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to catch the beach & gorgeous sunset views from any angle! The bedrooms with attached bathrooms, common areas & divine master suite are so spacious and luxurious! I have to give *high praise* for how well maintained this unit is by Dodampe, his lovely caretaker Upul, and the cleaning staff. The place was sparkling clean - kitchen, curtains, sofas & other furniture/fixtures seemed almost brand new! Incredibly high standards for cleanliness, presentation & keeping unit in excellent working order with no issues. Our family of seniors, young adults, and children had lots of privacy for ourselves as well as generous common areas to spend together. Many thanks to Upul for his warmth, responsiveness, all his help & advice. He even brought a welcome gift!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay in Serenity Villa! The grounds are stunning and well-maintained, and the whole place felt very peaceful. The house was clean with all necessary amenities, and the AC works well. There is also a lovely little cat who lives on the grounds and is very friendly! Sarath (the caretaker) was so welcoming and made us feel very at home. Veronika was a quick responder to messages and very flexible with timings for us. Overall, would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We have stayed in the apartment before so everything was familiar. We had a great stay there and would recommend the apartment.
