Family-friendly holiday rentals in Dingle Peninsula

We had a wonderful stay here, surrounded with hills and a quick drive to many little walks, the coast, interesting towns and about 1.5h from areas further afield such as the Ring of Kerry or Mizzen Head. The space itself is comfortable and clean, and was perfect for our visit (us + 2 young kids + 2 elderly parents) — being able to let the kids play outside is a real gift. Hot tub gets nice and hot and was a great treat to end the day. Thank you Marcella for a wonderful stay, and for being so responsive and helping us with a few of the bits we needed / had forgotten at home! Xx

We absolutely loved this cozy, impeccably clean house—so much so, we didn’t want to leave! My favorite part was enjoying coffee each morning with the beautiful view. The extra living space gave our family room to spread out, and the sinks in each bedroom were a great touch for keeping things organized. The beds and towels were soft and comfy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the brand-new washer and dryer (with detergent!). My kids loved exploring the area and heading to the beach. There’s a cute café down the road and a nice pub in town—just be aware that places close early, so plan meals ahead. We didn’t use the hot tub since it seemed a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, this was one of our favorite Airbnb stays!

This was a great Airbnb. Location about 1 mile outside of Killarney. Comfortable clean big. Airbnb is part of the Glen Eagle apartments behind the Brehon Hotel. You have to check in at the GlenEagle hotel which is next to Brehon. Kind of confusing, but we figured it out.

We had two families (9 people) staying for a special occasion. Ages from 12 to 90. The ground floor bedroom with balcony is stunning in the evening. There is so much outdoor space, the kids loved the little football pitch. The location was great, walking distance to the town, the beach and pitch & putt. We had a few queries coming up to the stay and during and all were responded to. We were very lucky to have stayed here.

A first rate accomodation in a wild and peaceful setting with a grand view of the "3 Sisters", Mt. Brandon and the wild Atlantic. High ceilings, lots of view windows including in the bedrooms and a fireplace. Great recreational loft space with TV, board games, foosball and darts. Hiking opportunities and the grand town of Dingle short minutes away by car.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (9 personnes) du 16 au 21 mai. Le logement est parfait : des chambres spacieuses, une cuisine bien équipée, et tout était très propre à notre arrivée. John est un hôte accueillant, réactif et serviable. Il a su répondre rapidement à nos demandes et nous a mis à l’aise dès le début. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ce logement pour un séjour en groupe ou en famille.

Perfekte Lage um die Stadt und die Gegend zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Haus war in einem perfekten Zustand und wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Sauna ist gleich nebenan und man kann sie kostenlos benutzen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We loved our stay ,it felt like home,we will deffo be back.The home was spacious,and very clean,the hot tub was a real bonus after a long drive,and to play a little music before bedtime was priceless.The doggies also were welcomed which we appreciated. The only downside we would have liked to stay longer🤸‍♀️😊🐕🐕🐕

Lovely house, spotless, comfortable and homey. Great location, just on the edge of town and only 10-15 minute walk to get into the town centre. Easy to find and right by the distillery. Right on the Slea Head road at the start of the drive out of Dingle to see the stunning coastline.

Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. I highly recommend if you want to find peace and serenity. Thank you, Martin and Bridgette for being so kind, responsive and helpful. XXX

Highly recommend Deborah's accommodation, love staying here, I've stayed twice now and will definitely be back to stay again. The house is spotless and everything is to a high standard. You won't be disappointed staying here

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

We really enjoyed our time at Pili & Seamus's. They were great to work with. Provided great recommendations. The apartment was spacious and the location can't be beat. Would definitely book again when visiting Dingle.

Große, perfekt ausgestattete Wohnung über 2 Etagen. Die Kommunikation mit Bridie und Patrick war ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir können einen Aufenthalt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

This cottage is adorable! The hosts were friendly and helpful. Only downside is the tv doesn't work and there is limited seating in the living room.

Beautiful cottage just outside Kenmare town. Anne's cottage is situated on farmland which makes it extra special for the kids who got to see Calves, tractors and play with the dog. Anne is a fantastic host and was always on hand when we had a query. She also brought a lovely fresh sponge cake on our second day which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Kenmare, set a base for the beara way or anyone travelling around South Kerry that wants to have a cosy place to call home for there trip.

Bill was an amazing host and incredibly welcoming. His home is positively cosy and unique. It felt like visiting a family friend. He gave us suggestions on where to visit in the area, which were most welcomed. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely outstanding: fresh fruits from the garden chopped up into an amazing fruit salad, creamy yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, strong coffee, home made jams, antipasto and delicious breads and croissants. Certainly made us feel like royalty! Also thoroughly enjoyed meeting Maggie and Izzy, the resident black dogs and official greeting party.

Elizabeth’s stone cottage was wonderful. The views were more incredible than I expected. Her home was so cozy and well stocked with everything we would need. She and her husband were lovely people and I would highly recommend staying there!!!

We loved Dingle and this was a great place to stay, just outside of the busy/noisy area, but an easy walk to the great shops and pubs and restaurants scattered around town. There was ample parking and easy access to the Slea Head loop. The furnishings were very comfortable and the decor elegant. The flexible check in was great because we kept finding more to see and do en route to this place. Would not hesitate to recommend Noreen’s place.

We loved our stay at Paddy and Riona’s place! Very cute and cozy loft with a lovely backyard area! The apartment was well equipped for cooking - had all the bits you could need. Had the best time, thank you!

Nora's place was very peaceful to stay at. The scenery is beautiful and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance from the house. Nora is very helpful and offered us some great recommendations on where to go for the best food as well as the best views.

A lovely bungalow with everything we needed. Anne met us and showed us round and gave us some local information, plus a tray of goodies and milk, tea and coffee which was appreciated! The place was clean with good size rooms and en suites. The garden is pretty and well kept with mountain views. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Abolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right on the water. Very peaceful yet a great pub at 2 minutes walk. 3 very comfortable bedrooms. Great kitchen and living room. Beautiful (really!) surroundings. The whole place oozes charm. We will be back!

Great stay! Can only recommend for a short trip around the Dingle Peninsula!
