Holiday rentals with a patio in Dikwella

Where to start.. In my 10+ years on Airbnb, I have never come across a property like this. The hosts and their kids are just exquisite. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cater to your every need. The apartment is brand-new, super clean, and has all the amenities needed at the same time the lush jungle and green surroundings give a very tropical vibe. Working from home cannot be better, more peaceful, and private and with high-speed internet. The family loves to cook a meal for you, so you can keep on working or simply enjoy a relaxing stay. There is also the possibility to rent their scooter or tuk-tuk, make use of the laundry services and enjoy a yoga session on the rooftop deck. It's situated in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys and all kinds of lovely creatures. We love to surf, and with the beach just 5 mins scooter ride away, we felt like we had everything we could dream of. We will be back for sure!:) Thank you Nalaka and family for the wonderful stay!

Eva is very friendly, helpful and replied to our messages quickly. The property manager Tharushan was very friendly and helpful when there were powercuts, he would let us know or turn on the generator if we needed it. He showed us all the facilities when we arrived. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and such a luxury to stay in. The shower was hot and powerful! It was very handy having the AC and fan as it was really hot during our stay. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and the neighbours are very friendly. There is a restaurant nearby (30 second walk) and their Sri Lankan curry buffet is a must-try! We were sad to leave this luxury apartment.

Danuka was a great host, very flexible with check in/out times and let us drop our bags off early. Helped us rent scooters and even source a lost parcel. Thanks for a great stay

We stayed four days in the condo and it was wonderful. For starters, Valentine offered to rent a motorbike for a very affordable price, and by the time we arrived, we had it available. Communication, perfect. He was very kind and responsive to any requests. The place, very clean and cared for. Despite not being on the front line, it was very well located. It's exactly like the photographs! Definitely highly recommended.

I was searching for a place to establish a home base for my trip when Ann's property caught my attention. I was captivated by what it had to offer in the photos, so I booked it with great excitement. Ann was incredibly responsive and helped me plan my trip accurately by being flexible with my dates, ensuring I felt right at home from the very first day. When I arrived, I walked onto the balcony, which provided a serene view of the Ahangama ocean. The apartment was exactly what I wished for and more. It was very clean, tidy, and thoughtfully furnished. The apartment truly felt like a home, helping me unwind each day and wake up refreshed for the next. We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The villa is surrounded by stunning nature, which made our stay even more peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Lovely & calm full apartment with AC, Hot water and mosquito net. The family hosting is lovely, but the apartment is kind of separate with even a rooftop access for smokers. For me, perfectly located away from the busy side of town and yet still close enough to go surfing within 5min by scooter to Hiri Beach. Price for quality wise one of the best apartments I stayed in. Would book again, no doubt.

We ended our trip to Sri Lanka with a stay in Our Garden. The property is in an ideal location, just a short walk from restaurants and the beach but still quiet and peaceful. It was very clean on arrival and is beautifully decorated, with all amenities you could need for a stay. We were warmly welcomed by Sajeeva, who was very helpful with tips for our trip. Overall we would definitely recommend!

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

This was our favorite place we stayed in Sri Lanka during our trip! Beautiful, welcoming, clean and comfortable home with attentive staff. Super close to the beach. Just on the other side of the street. They also let us check in early which was helpful to have a place to store our luggage.

We had a stellar stay at Lilypad. Jamie & Angela made sure to take care of everything from before check-in to after check-out. The villa is beautiful with a lovely pool one can relax by. Everything is spotless clean. Pamod, the housekeeper is super. He's efficient, non-intrusive and helps with anything you ask for. I highly recommend Lilypad!

Beautiful place in amazing area. It’s a great escape from the hustle of city and you are still close to the Weligama and Ahangama (both approximately 10 minutes ride). Totally recommend

My family and I would like to thank David & Sameera for allowing us the opportunity to stay at this beautiful place. The villa is exactly like the pictures ,had everything we needed and more , the views are incredible the perfect relaxing place. We will definitely come back , has everything on your door step within walking distance to some beautiful bars and restaurants. We also felt very safe with the security in the evening which is a wonderful service .

We spent 7 nights in this Villa and left very happy! Beautiful garden and nature, great location. Kavindu was very helpful and response very quickly to any request:) Almost in front of the villa Murphy restaurant has very good food! 👍

Loved our stay in this fantastic villa. Over a long trip in Sri Lanka and travelling with a toddler, this place was by far the best place we stayed. Beautiful villa and surroundings. Of the 6 other Airbnbs we stayed in along our travels, this had the best of everything in all categories. Very comfy beds, great wifi, great pool, great outdoor area, totally enclosed and perfect for a toddler to roam free, great AC, large rooms, large bathrooms. Location was great, 5 min drive to supermarket, ATM, town. 10 mins to beach. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

Our stay couldn’t have been more amazing. The apartment is so beautiful and comfortable. It’s spotless clean, great kitchen facilities and ice cold AC. It’s located right in front of a little local beach where there is a lot of boats docked which is stunning for sunset. The locals around are all so friendly as well. Such quick and helpful communication from the host. Couldn’t recommend enough it’s an absolute steal for the price.

Cleanest place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. Location was a bit hard to find via TukTuk but the host was responsive and really helpful. Nice garden surrounding property and very quiet location just a short walk from the beach.

Pavi, Bathi and their family and friends are the loveliest of people, always ready to help or offer advice when needed. Our apartment was situated on the 2nd floor and was lovely, bedroom and bathroom bare very large as is the kitchen diner, if there was anything you needed Pavi got it sorted asap, the grounds are immaculate and have a plethora of wildlife wandering the grounds, the use of the swimming pool was a great addition. Polhena itself is situated in a great spot for travelling out from and has a wonderful little beach(it does get busy at weekends). Shops are in walking distance as is the main town of Matara or a short fun tuk tuk ride. Colombo and other places are easily accessible via buses or train, both a fun way to travel. We will be back.

I highly recommend Sanjayas place, it is in a quiet and beautiful area with its own private entrance, walking distance to the local restaurants and beaches. The room was perfect with a great terrace, Sanjaya and his family are wonderful. I hope to be back again.

The place is the best place in Weligama. You can use all of first floor of the house. Supermarket is just next to place. And the best thing is very well-prepared Kitchen. So i really recommend this place!! Oh! host Binu is also very kind and nice! If youn cosider to go Weligama, pick this one
