Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Destelbergen

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

It was all fine. Especially that bikes were there for use and the small garden. The location was quiet and pretty and not far from the center. Highly recommended.

What a lovely space! The house is tucked away in a quiet street, yet easily walkable to the city centre. The interior is beautiful, filled with natural lights and plants. Spending time in the house was very relaxing- such a treat. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay!

Tastefully renovated house. The decor is very beautiful while remaining cozy. A very nice house. The environment is very peaceful and very beautiful (chic neighborhood with beautiful houses and some possibilities for walks). Access to Ghent in a quarter of an hour.

Staying at Sabrine's cottage was truly a highlight of my trip to Belgium. She’s a kind, genuine, and welcoming host, and her home is full of charm and warmth.

Had a very nice stay in Prince Moulin. Super nice, cozy accommodation where everything is present. There is also a lot of play equipment for children. Sandra is really friendly and quick to respond. You feel very welcome there. We'll be happy to come back.

A great place to stay! The house is very clean, cozy, and exactly as described. There’s convenient parking on the property, which was especially important for us. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet everything you need is close by — the location is excellent. A special thanks to the host: very friendly, responsive, and always ready to help. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

The loft is spacious and light with views up and down the canal next door and onto the square below. It has tonnes of cupboard space, a large bathroom, a well equipped kitchen and even a record player with a colletion of 60s to 80s records. The sun streams in during the day from all angles. It is very close to restaurants and shops. We loved the space and it's location close to everything.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ghent. The location is great and easily walkable to the city center. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. If I were to critique anything it'd be that the place is a bit cluttered. But all in all, if you are in Ghent, this is a great place.

Lovely spacious art filled apartment with car park in peaceful location; it was like staying in an art gallery & we loved it. Short walk to bakeries, shops or tram/ train. Ideal base for exploring Brussels, Bruges, Ghent etc. John gave us some tips/ recommendations for our stay which were greatly appreciated.

The best spot in town. Great location - it is right at the end of the tram to come and go easily from the train station. Very quiet street, apartment even though it's just minutes walk from the center of town. It's very close to all the attractions, cute streets, and restaurants without being in the middle of it all. The apartment is clean, spacious and stylish. Comfortable bed, and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Aris was amazing and flexible, super responsive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Ghent.

This is really a lovely quiet place on the outskirts of Lokeren. It is very private with its own entrance. Easy parking in front of the door or in the street. The hosts, Sabine and Steven, immediately gave me a warm welcome. Nice and thoughtful details. The apartment has everything you need and is still compact and well-organized. I'd love to come back!

Very nice studio, decorated with great taste. Impeccable cleanliness. Very quiet and a plus for the view of the garden. Simon and Robin are very responsive and accommodating hosts with good tips on places (restaurants, brunch) in Ghent. Proximity to the tram 5 minutes and about 20 minutes walk from the historic center and 25 minutes walk from the main train station.

It was great stay. Tom was really kind and helpful. If I go to Gent again definitely I’ll stay at this place.

We stayed here for one week and absolutely loved it! Arnaud was very helpful. The Flat is just Beautiful and has absolutely everything you need, even an umbrella to borrow. It Looks Like a Designer Flat- we love the furniture and plates, Bowls, etc :) We can definitely recommend this lovely place!

This is a fabulous place, interesting furniture, books all laid out with great style! Definitely our type of place. Short walk to the city centre and all the beauty of Ghent

We loved our stay. Sara was very responsive. Check-in was easy, and the stairs were easy to navigate. The location is outstanding with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and retail stores. It is a very spacious apartment, and there was plenty of room for our group. We felt at home even though we stayed just 5 nights. When return to Ghent, we would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great! We picked it as it was central to the many places we wanted to visit throughout Belgium, though it’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. Condo was very clean and spacious. Only comment would be if anyone has limited mobility, the stairs to get to the upstairs bedrooms are a little steep.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is super comfortable, very well appointed, uniquely decorated and in an ideal location, especially as we were travelling by train, although lots of parking nearby. The beds were very comfortable, it was very quiet and despite being 30+ degrees outside during late afternoons, the apartment remained incredibly cool. Our hosts were really helpful and all was perfect. Highly recommend.
