Lake house holiday rentals in Delaware

Andrew & Rebecca were great hosts start to finish. They were accommodating to our needs and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Their home was wonderful, everything was very clean and with instructions and details about the amenities inside and out. The views were amazing especially in the mornings! We loved sitting out on the deck drinking our morning coffee or grilling up some steaks in the afternoon. My family had a great time spending the week here and can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was spacious and clean. The area outback is perfect. Claudette was very accommodating and responsive. I grew up coming to this neighborhood and always loved it there. We would love to stay here again!

One of the rare Airbnb's where you feel at ease as soon as you walk in. Clean, bright, airy, and just as depicted. It feels like someone's well taken care of home. The deck is lovely for sitting with a cup of coffee or having dinner al fresco. The place is not huge but all the rooms are well sized and comfortable. Excellent showers (including an outdoor shower)! My teen kids enjoying reading their books in the loft, and we made good use of the Scrabble board and card decks provided. The kitchen was basic but sufficient for making a few small meals, and we enjoyed the Nespresso milk frother. The beach umbrella, chairs, bikes and parking permits were super handy - allowing easy access to the uncrowded South Bethany beaches nearby. Most importantly, everything was perfectly clean and comfortable! We definitely plan to come back.

Lovely home and a wonderful host!! I came for Autumn weekend with my girlfriends. Lots of space and plenty of room to spread out. We watched amazing sunrises over the ocean each morning. Diane was so responsive and house is very well stocked. Great home!!

We all enjoyed the house and felt very relaxed as soon as we walked in. I loved that the linens were all included and there were spares enough for us all. The house was well equipped as well with pans, dishes and the like, as well as coffee and spices. We were able to walk across the street to the terrific pool, another plus. The beach was a short drive, and we had the option of catching the community shuttle bus to Bethany. We will definitely consider staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location in Sea Colony for its closeness to the beach and to the shops , restaurants and board walk in the town center. Our accommodation was excellent, very clean and very comfortable. Check-in and checkout were a breeze! Barbara was very responsive to my questions throughout our stay. I would recommend this accommodation.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The house is very beautiful, peaceful, and cozy. The screened in porch overlooking the water was probably my favorite part, and of course the master bedroom was stunning. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to others. Thanks, Brooke!

Lia’s place was great for our group! Enjoyed the many games provided and the fire pit especially. Ample space to spread out or all gather together.

I booked four nights at Selina’s place with my dog last minute, and Selina was beyond responsive and accommodating. I immediately felt right at home, and thoroughly enjoyed taking walks with my dog throughout the neighborhood. The home was super comfy and had many great amenities including a beautiful screened in porch off the kitchen, and a gorgeous fenced in yard. Close proximity to beaches, parks and walking trails. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for being such a wonderful host Selina!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Pamela and Mark were great hosts and have thought of every amenity you may need! The street feels secluded and quiet but is so close to everything that Bethany Beach has to offer. We especially loved our walks down to the community pier and our morning coffee on the deck. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great week!

We had a great family vacation in the amazing neighborhood of Angola By the Bay. The house was just as described in the listing and it had all of the amenities to make you feel right at home. We will definitely rent this property again in the near future

We had an excellent stay at Joseph's place! The location, in a small gated community, surrounded by trees was exceptionally peaceful and the others in the neighborhood offered friendly waves whenever we passed. The cottage was extremely cozy (two sets of comfortable sofas, a comfortable bed) and expertly equipped (i.e. full set of cookware, can opener, orange juice and creamer) and thoughtfully designed (washer dryer, front porch with chairs, fire pit in back). The extra, extra plus for us was that we could bring our dog. The location is ideal 20 mins from Lewes, 25 minutes from Rehobeth, and 40 minutes from Bethany Beach - tons to explore, especially outdoors. Joseph was very proactive (gate instructions in advance, for example) and responsive (friendly tone, responded within minutes to each question). Would recommend highly and without reservations!

Haven Lake is a lovely home. The view was amazing, we got to watch the sunset on the summer solstice. We played badminton and blew bubbles in the big backyard and there were plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy. The house was beautifully decorated, neat, and clean. There is a manicured rose garden and other perennials thought the property. We loved it! 🥰

We really enjoyed our stay at Caroline’s place. Just a quick drive to several beaches, the location is perfect for a family vacation. The community offers various activities for children. There were six children in our group and they especially enjoyed riding the bicycles provided around the many trails. The open floor plan of the main living space makes it easy to have large family meals and game nights. The bedrooms are very accommodating and our group of 10 slept very comfortably throughout our stay. We are thankful to Caroline for being so available both before and during our stay. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Loved our stay at Leslie’s house in Angola by the bay! It was great having a spacious place to hang out in.

Alison’s place was perfect! The house was very clean and had every amenity you could think of. It was the perfect stay!

If you are looking for a relaxing stay with lots to do, look no further. The golf cart provided was great for getting out and exploring the neighborhood. Make sure to enjoy the restaurant, playground and fishing pier. The pools were unfortunately closed during our stay and the restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Additional, be prepared to fit the sheets on your own beds, but once you do enjoy the comfort.

The home in Fenwick Island DE was perfect for a family beach holiday. Surprisingly spacious! The home had 3 living areas with comfortable beach furniture and a full size laundry room. The host responded twice in person to minor requests. Easy beach access with beach chairs! We enjoyed our off season weekend.

The house was clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. Communication was quick and easy throughout. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-maintained stay!

It is a brand new home! It was very clean and felt so welcoming and confortable. Our kids loved the game room and board games and pool! We loved how it was a 10 min drive to the Bethany Beach Boardwalk! We really appreciated Iana’s recs and communication! She was wonderful to work with! We loved the nearby restaurants/places: Cafe on 26, Cedar Land and Sea Kitchen, DeFibo’s Market, Cottage Cafe, James Farm Ecological Park, Salty Pony Donuts and Shaka Shack! Iana’s home was beautiful, fresh, has a well-stocked kitchen and she left extra supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms. She left beach towels for us to use and left some snacks for the kids! The community is lovely and safe and we would absolutely recommend it and stay there again! We can’t wait to come back!
