Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Del Mar

Great spaces for family to hang out together and separately too. Very well appointed. Loved the deck and the hot tub! Thanks Helen. We will book again sometime.

Kerri’s home is a fabulous place to stay if you have family, an event, or if you are just looking to tour the San Diego, Anaheim, Solana Beach and other areas. It’s perfectly located to make travel easy to many popular tourist destinations in the area, including hiking and sightseeing! Her home has the MOST wonderful amenities and she is so generous with all provided. We had more than enough comforts to stay our week as a family of 4. The home is set up perfectly to get ready for formal events (I loved the vanity) and have a backyard bbq. The bed toppers make the beds so comfortable- including the pull out couch. From the kitchen to the bathroom to beach fun to rainy days, Kerri has thought of everything. The home is very clean, and the location in busy Solana Beach has beautiful views of the ocean in the distance and the city below. The freeway runs along many neighborhoods in San Diego, but it is just a white noise hum. We loved eating outside everyday. Kerri is a wonderful host!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Will definitely be back! House was perfect size for family of 4 and right across the street from the beach. It was helpful to have a garage but street parking was not difficult. We had everything we needed for our stay, no complaints!

Anthony's place was great! He and Amanda were super communicative and the place was easy to get into and was exactly as described. We had a great stay. If you are unfamiliar with the Carlsbad area, as we are, there are a couple of helpful things to know: - there is quite a bit of street noise as the home is directly on the street across from the Pacific. - the beach directly across the street from the house is at the bottom of a bluff - there are quite a few stairs to climb down in order to reach the beach/water. - there is no beach across the street at high tide - the water comes all the way up to the bluff - there are great beaches about a half mile either direction from the home that are easier to access. None of this would have changed our decision to stay, but would've been good to know if we were more familiar with the area. Overall great stay, at the home was very well laid out for my elderly Mother with all amenities on the first floor and not stairs to enter the home.

This is a great house. Very spacious and clean. It is on the corner of a main road, but the noise wasn’t a big problem and the location is super convenient for getting around Del Mar and other parts of north county. The backyard was great.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this place. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. Communication with the host was easy and they were very responsive to any questions I had. The check-in process was smooth, and all the amenities provided made the stay super comfortable. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a hassle-free and relaxing visit!

Place was wonderful. Check in was ok. Directions was confusing around the place and map was not to helpful at all. Steven was great w/ communication.

Quinn’s place was a great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The bay was an easy walk to get to. We enjoyed the mile walk around the bay to find places for dinner. Hosts were very quick to respond with any questions. The place had everything we needed.

Overall had a great stay! Location was easily walkable to the beach and a short drive from food/fun. House was clean and well equipped for our needs. One small quirk is there is only AC in one room, so you may need to use the provided fans to circulate the air to cool the other rooms (which can get quite warm). It meant we could not close the bedroom doors at night. Otherwise convenient beach pad and would stay again!

We visited San Diego with our grandson and toured his college prospects. Khwaja’s home was perfectly located! We enjoyed the home, slept well, and were able to easily drive to the various colleges, visit Old Town, Balboa Park, Little Italy, and Coronado Island. Khwaja’s home is quiet, comfortable, and the view from the living room window and the deck is lovely. Khwaja was quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an exceptional experience! We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The garden was beautiful and we had such a peaceful stay. We were in town for a wedding at the Grand Tradition. It is literally 3 minutes away. Perfect location if you're in town for a wedding!

I wish I had more than 1000 characters because this place was incredible! The history in Barrio-Logan was unmatched compared to staying in the Gaslamp area. Hector left great recommendations, had a clean and spacious area, and was so responsive and flexible with check in! Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb or host more.

Very nice, safe location! Exactly as represented. It was very clean, well stocked, and easy to check in. We also really liked the beds, which is rare for us in a vacation home. JB was quick to respond with any questions. Enjoyed watching the surfers, dolphins, and sunsets from the balcony. Would highly recommend!

This was hands down our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed at in San Diego. It was spacious and cozy, clean and secure, cool (They have AC :)) and quaint. It had loads of updated kitchen amenities including a sizable refrigerator, which is hard to find when traveling. The apartment kitchen was honestly amazing. The location is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants in La Mesa. We enjoyed Pink Rose Cafe and Farmer’s Table. There is a wrap around porch which we enjoyed during some of our meal times as well as for setting out our beach items in between trips. This place was the best combination of original charm found in the hardwood floors and crystal door knob alongside modern amenities like the amount of outlets thankfully everywhere we looked. And, I cannot forget to share how comfortable the beds were! Next time we travel back to see family in San Diego we will definitely be coming back here again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was gorgeous—even more spacious than the photos show. It’s much closer to the beach than we expected, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves each night was pure magic. The location is perfect—walking distance to great coffee spots and restaurants. The hosts were fantastic with communication, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

House is excellent and as described in the listing. Chris was willing to listen to my concerns and willing to compromise, was flexible with check in and check out.

Liam and Mia were lovely! They were very communicative and responsive to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place was immaculate and everything exceeded our expectations. There were also plenty of extra towels and comforters, which was a big plus for our group of 10. Definitely recommend!

You enter the house, a little uncertain. From the outside, a little underwhelming. You pass through the cosy living room, still a little underwhelming. And THEN, WOW. The pool area, the tennis court, the Vista to the west, the mountains...spectacular, breathtaking, everything as advertised and more. Back in the house, you find a very well stocked kitchen, extremely comfortable bedrooms, a unique "guesthouse" for the Seniors (in our case), and above all...everything in working order. Absolutely no issues! Bravo to our great landlord, who was a super communicator. Overall: our family of 12, across 3 generations, found wonderful places to be together as well as to disperse. A great time was had by all in this Vista Villa wonder!

The airbnb was spotless and Jacqueline was a perfect host. She was very attentive with anything that was needed and check in was a breeze. The location of the airbnb was within perfect distance of everything in San Diego. Honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. If I’m ever in the San Diego area again I would definitely stay here again.

This stay was beyond my expectations. The comfort of the home, the surrounding area, the beautiful views and peacefulness. It was all amazing, didn’t want it to end.

The villa on the hill is a hidden gem that I would gladly go back to. The views were breathtaking from just about any spot on the property. One of my favorite parts about the whole villa stay was sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set in the evening. The villa itself was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the outside. The owners keep it very clean and stocked with cooking utensils if needed. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Southern California, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and spacious place to stay.
