Whether you are here to kick back and relax or try your hand at the many outdoor activities only southwest Louisiana can offer. The lodge is convenient to everything the area has to offer and has beautiful waterfront views of the ship channel. The lodge consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and is fully furnished. We do offer dock/boat slip access for extra fee.

Waterfront Property with boat slip and electric lift for a max 16’ boat. The property is only 2 miles from boat launch and a short boat ride to Calcasieu Lake where you can enjoy fishing and water sports. Also nearby are two resort casinos and plenty of shopping and restaurants. The Reel N Rest was perfect!! Great place, very clean, spacious, and is situated in an area that affords maximum privacy. Plenty of room for relaxing. Fishing Charters meet you at the dock. Highly recommended. I would stay here again without hesitation.

We had a fantabulous stay at Luis' home! We were in town for a concert, and that is one of the only times we left the house... other than to get food. Speaking of food -- ask Luis for restaurant recommendations. He knows what he's talking about. The pool is an absolute dream. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Southern Oasis of Lake Charles

By far the most accommodating rental I have stayed in. The host put a lot of thought into this home and paid close attention to detail and didn't leave out anything. They really put themselves in the renters shoes by ensuring everything was there, even extra toothbrushes as I forgot mine. Let me also add the just was very personable and willing to go the extra mile, there was even a snack basket for us to enjoy. The home itself is not only was remarkably but clean and accommodating and felt like we were in a model Show home. We can't wait to come back as this will be where we go every time we come to lake charles. The rooms were great size and the kitchen and game room was a plus. The home is spacious and well suited for families or small groups that want to have fun in a relaxing fun home. Again don't let this home pass you by.
