House holiday rentals in De Kelders

So enjoyed our weekend away! It was peaceful and we had beautiful weather as well - which was surprising for June. Walking distance to and from the beach. Enjoyed the fire pit area and chats around the fire and the pool. Good kitchen facilities and sleeping accommodation. Everything was clean. The neighborhood also felt safe. Claudette is also a very good host - very helpful and responsive with queries pre-check-in and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Thank you so much Keri and Louise!!

A great place to rest and relax and connect with the family. The surrounding estate is very peaceful and felt extremely safe. Nice walks around the coast. Not too much to do in Gansbaai but not far from Hermanus. Perfect if you're looking to get away and be self contained.

We had the best stay. The host was super responsive and we felt right at home. We were surrounded by incredible views. Comfortable and clean accommodation. We loved peacefulness and privacy. Great full kitchen and indoor braai. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

Storkerden is an absolutely fantastic beach house with so much to offer. Our family had such an awesome restful time here. Every room has a beach view. It was bliss. I can highly recommend it!

The Airbnb is great. Host is super. The town itself doesn't have much in the way of activities or shops, so it's perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway. The house and location are perfect for watching the sun set.

From the moment we arrived, our stay was truly wonderful. The house is located on a peaceful street where the sound of the ocean adds a calming touch to the atmosphere. It’s just a short stroll to the beach, complete with benches and scenic walkways that invite you to linger. The home itself is spacious and thoughtfully furnished with high-quality fittings that made our three-day stay exceptionally comfortable. We would definitely return to Clayden’s place in the near future.

We had a fantastic stay at Carla's beautiful home. We had everything we needed and more. Carla is a responsive host, and the small welcome touches made us feel right at home.

Exceeded our high expectations - the perfect base for an extended stay in Hermanus. Wonderful home with absolutely all the extras that you could need. Will be back as soon as we can..

Spacious and comfortable beach house perfect for large families. The four bathrooms (two upstairs and two downstairs) were a bonus. We were 8 adults and 3 children (10-12years) and there never was any queueing! Perfect views from two of the three upstairs bedrooms, as well as the open plan kitchen/dining room and living room. Plenty of warm blankets provided for the chilly evenings and cold nights in winter. The large downstairs playroom with two bunkbeds on one end, pool/table tennis table in the middle, and small sitting area on the other end, worked really well for the three boys and serves as the fifth bedroom. The fourth bedroom is accessed from this playroom and has an ensuite bathroom. Check-in was super easy and Sarel next door was friendly and helpful. The house provided everything we needed and is great value for the price. We can definitely recommend Jonathan's place!

We loved our stay in Hermanus! The home offers stunning views of both the mountains and the sea, and it is very spacious. It has all the amenities for a great breakaway — a fireplace for the colder evenings, a Weber braai, a coffee machine, a large TV for watching sport and movies as well as a very well equipped kitchen . An extra bonus is the work area which is private and has a lovely view over the sea. The location is excellent — very peaceful and walking distance to the beach and mountain trail. We also really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out. The hosts were great with communication and very responsive throughout. Highly recommended and we would love to return in the future.

The house is very comfortably laid out and furnished. It feels like new, and is crisp and clean. The town is a quiet beach holiday town with no shopping areas. Alison gave us detailed information about this, as well as where to get groceries and the preferred route to get to the house. Thank you Alison for being great with communication and opening your home.

This was our second year in a row in Taryn-Lee's house and we will 100% return for a family gathering in future. The house is perfect for a large group, clean and comfortable and great value for money over December. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely 2day stay. The beach house has enough of everything. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful decorated open space with a sea view. The beds and couches are very comfortable. Definitely a great place for a short or long getaway.

We fell in love with the village of Stanford and the soul restoring River Home. This beautiful house is right on the river's edge and is a real treat (and retreat) to stay in. Just the place to surrender to nature, listen to the birdsong, rest and restore. We loved walking along the delightful river path. A short walk into the centre of town will bring you to several delightful restaurants. We ate at three of them (for lunch at Madré we enjoyed a really good pork belly with crispy skin and vegetables, at La Trattoria we had a feast of authentic Italian food and Agteros has a menu full of delightful South African dishes done with a modern twist). We also brownsed in some delightful homewear and gift shops. If you prefer eating at home, the kitchen at River House has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. It is spotless, has a great gas hob and electric oven and a dishwasher for cleaning up after.

The house was clean and well kept. It was alovely home away from home and within walking distance from the beach. Will definitely recommend 👌🏻

We LOVED the house and felt very comfortable there. It is very quite, safe, close to the beach and the house is just beautiful. Very tasteful interior design and everything needed was there. We would love to come back some time. Definitely recommendable!!!
