Holiday rentals with lake access in Daylesford - Hepburn Springs

We absolutely loved our stay at Geraldine’s gorgeous home. It was warm, spacious, and inviting—perfect for our trip to Ballarat during the tournament when the weather outside was anything but kind. The beds were comfortable and warm, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The house was spotless and clearly very well looked after, with thoughtful family memorabilia throughout that added character without feeling cluttered. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we didn’t need to second-guess whether to bring basics like salt, tea, or coffee. Geraldine had everything covered, including a beautiful welcome basket and a generous supply of cleaning products. All in all, this cozy, welcoming home made our stay truly memorable. We’ll definitely look back on our time here with great fondness. Highly recommend!

What a great house to stay at in Central Ballarat. Easy walk to great cafes and restaurants. Jenny was very easy to communicate with, the accomodation was very pretty and comfortable. And we very much appreciated the thoughtful breakfast supplies left for us! Would definitely stay again- Thanks for having us!

Doreen’s place is absolutely gorgeous! If you are heading to Ballarat, look no further. Great location - walking distance to Sovereign Hill, 5 min drive from central shops and restaurants. Massive space, especially great if you have kids. Our 4 year old loved the kids area with books, toys. Our family was very comfortable and we had a very comfortable stay.

Our group of 6 had a fabulous stay at Nick and Danny’s place. It was absolutely stunning and beautifully styled with unique artwork and little knick-knacks. We loved the hallway of artwork, it felt like our own personal gallery. The living space was warm and inviting. We enjoyed the cosy fireplace, high ceilings, and leafy autumn vistas - Perfect for a cold wintery weekend. Karl, Danny and Nick were excellent hosts. They responded to messages promptly and provided a list of local suggestions. We cannot fault our stay and highly recommend it to others.

This was our second time staying at Richard's lovely country property. The kids loved the open space, and playing with their remote control boat on the little dam. The gardens and surrounds were lovely, with easy access to Daylesford and Hepburn Springs shops/ pubs etc, and the communication and instructions from Richard were excellent!

The home was very warm and cosy, particularly for such a cold long weekend. The home was clean and very well designed and laid out. We had all that was needed for a comfortable stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at Noonanmeena, a stunning passive house set on 20 picturesque acres in Redesdale. The property is beautifully situated, backing onto the Coliban River, with easy access to Redesdale town center, just a short drive away. It's also conveniently located—only 25 minutes from Heathcote and 20 minutes from Lake Eppalock. The house itself is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. Whether we were relaxing on the deck or taking a dip in the pool, watching the sunset was an absolute highlight. John was an exceptional host—welcoming, accommodating, and great to communicate with. Thank you for making our long weekend truly special—we can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Simon and Ru are amazing hosts-were very friendly and helpful!The place felt very homely and comfortable, making it easy to settle in. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The neighborhood was lovely—quiet, safe, and convenient for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely choose to stay again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Great location and friendly staff, would come back here again

We had a lovely two-night stay at Kurt and Nanette’s place in Golden Point, Ballarat. Kurt greeted us on arrival and was warm and welcoming, which set the tone for a great stay. The heater had been turned on beforehand, making the space feel cozy and comfortable on a chilly Ballarat afternoon. The bed was very comfortable, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. There was a generous selection of treats provided, everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The space was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and perfect for a short getaway. We would highly recommend it and would be very happy to stay again.

Had a wonderful stay, the place was everything as described, spacious, very clean and well equipped with everything you need, and we especially liked that it was so close to Lake Daylesford. The balcony backed out onto the lake and was the prefect spot to relax and watch the sunset. Something to note for anyone with mobility issues, this suite (3) can only be accessed by a slightly steep flight of stairs which proved to be a little difficult for my elderly mum, would’ve have been great if this was included in the details beforehand. There also seemed a slight problem with toilet seat (wasn’t fitted properly) and some information contained in the ‘information file’ in the suite contradicted with the details (check-out times) that was provided. However overall, we had a fabulous stay, it is a gorgeous place and would definitely recommend!

Deniz as a host was helpful and responded quickly. When asked, Replaced the hot water kettle and floor standing fan along with some kitchen accessories almost immediately via her property manager !! Appreciated acceptance of a late checkout without additional charges as a friendly gesture. A stay at Deniz’s apartment would be highly recommended!! We truly enjoyed our stay for the 6 nights we were there. Thank you once again for everything Deniz !!

The host is super friendly and responsive, I got stuck at the check-in and she was there to help me out. The apartment is neat and clean, the beds are comfortable, my kids love it. I will absolutely book again if I need to visit Melbourne in near future.

Perfectly described as French style apartment, although a whole lot larger than in France. it was gorgeous, felt right at home, it was definitely my vibe. We really enjoyed our stay & the place is very comfortable, there is everything you would need for either a short stay or a long stay & the added bonus of the Ecasa homewares store below was a must to visit & the chance to purchase some of the lovely decor in the apartment sold there as well. Its so central, everything within walking distance. Daylesford is a great getaway location & I would love to return to this apartment again one day.

The house is clean and peaceful, beautifully located by the lake. It’s especially delightful to take a stroll at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Neal was a great host from check in to check out! All the thoughtful extras were appreciated. The cottage felt very welcoming and homely on arrival and throughout our stay. A beautiful base to travel within the Central Goldfields region. Neal's knowledge of the area and recommendations were appreciated as we were able to visit some of these places which we enjoyed.

What a beautiful place to stay for a few nights. Close to Daylseford and Kyneton which are lovely to visit, all while staying somewhere very peaceful and quiet. We loved it here, there are kangaroos everywhere. The house is very well fitted out, warm with a lot of room. We loved the pizza that Stephanie made us. Our dog really enjoyed the walks - one thing for all dog owners to note is the very safe and secure yard around the house. Our dog was able to wander around without us having to worry about her getting out of the yard! We will definately be back.

One of our favourite ever air BnB experiences The photos provided are great - but it’s impossible to capture the beautiful peaceful perfect cute serenity that the cottage provides! Elbert is a wonderful and generous host, very responsive, respectful and helpful! Full of great tips for the area and overall a stand out host! We’ll be back!
