Cottage holiday rentals in Dawlish

Debbie’s place is a little piece of paradise, the setting is stunning, the gardens are fantastic and the cottage is warm and cosy whilst also being spacious and really well laid out. We had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The open plan kitchen into the cosy living room left us all feeling connected, utility space was really useful, conservatory with stunning views allowed us to dine together and relax during the day. Outside area is also stunning for meals on the patio and bbq’s and the hot tub was great to relax in on an evening looking at the stars in peace and tranquility.. there’s a slight walk up to the property across a field but once you’re in the cottage and its gardens it’s worth every step. Great for the dogs too. Loads to do in the area, our highlight was Lyme Regis beach.. many thanks to Debbie and everyone who made us feel so welcome. We would go back to Debbie’s place in a heartbeat!

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

A very good house — quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

This is a fantastic place to stay and Emma and Kevin are the perfect balance of friendly while also giving you privacy. The whole place is so well equipped and the wood-fired hot tub is so relaxing, even in the rain! The location is fantastic for Dartmoor and Totnes, and the local pub is fab.

Lovely stay despite the bad weather. Still managed to enjoy the hot tub and fire. Linsey was a great host - no issues so did not need to contact her during our stay. Was very responsive and friendly beforehand when i messaged her. Perfect place if you’re looking for peace and quiet!

Booked for a surprise birthday treat for my wife, when we arrived she was over the moon! Beautiful house, private garden with hot tub. Everything you need throughout & the most comfortable bed! Lovely treats of Prosecco & freshly baked bread on arrival, great touch! Alison & Jeremy were really friendly, responding quickly with any request. If the grandparents will take the kids again for a few nights we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful little cottage in a picture postcard village. we had a lovely stay in Little Holme, we only stayed for 2 days and wished we could have stayed longer! Would highly recommend Alyson's cottage, clean, tidy and comfortable, with everything you need, we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage, very peaceful location. A short drive to lots of different coastal towns and walks. Will come again!

The converted stable was rustic and lovely, with a unique staircase and beautiful surroundings. The orchard on the property was beautiful to wander around. Right on the edge of Dartmoor National Park giving us plenty of choices for walking with the dogs and plenty of pubs to choose from in the evenings.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment is very comfortable and cosy. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden with it's views over the Exe estuary. There are lots of nice walks in the area which was great for our two dogs. We would definitley book this Airbnb again if we want to stay in the area.

Veronica was a great host, good communication and helpful with information before and during our stay. The cottage was as advertised and was perfect for the 3 of us. Location was less than 10 minutes to Brixham and the cottage was in a quiet location.

Fantastic cottage in super location. Brilliant hosts, very friendly and the tour of the brewery was great. The ale is excellent too! Lovely grounds for walking and the meadow was perfect for our little dog. We would love to stay again.

The cottage was a perfect base for visiting our family in Exeter. Lovely for a mini break - we really enjoyed exploring Topsham's pubs, taproom and cafes, and the tapas place opposite the cottage. The cottage was even better than the photos, and bigger. The courtyard is tranquil, the cottage characterful, all very clean. Big bedroom, comfy bed. Comfortable lounge and really good shower. We were prepared for the 2 sets of windy stairs, which were fine for us. We particularly enjoyed trips to Powderham Castle (complete with petting zoo!) and The Turf. We'll be back, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Katy’s place. It was so very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Having the enclosed courtyard was invaluable, as I was alone some days with the dogs and it meant I didn’t have to worry about where they were, as it was totally secure and private. The kitchen facilities were everything I needed for cooking, the property was spotless and relaxing and of high quality throughout. Walking from the door up the lane to the woods was fabulous with the dogs. And the homemade scones on arrival were amazing. Thank you Katy for a wonderful stay.

Little Timbers is a wonderful retreat in the gorgeous village of Coffinswell. The accommodation provided everything we needed and more, and was very comfortable indeed. Tim and Chrissie are fantastic hosts, respectful of their guests privacy but always on hand for any questions and smiling faces when you see them in the garden. If ever we are back in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. top tip: book the Linny Inn (a short walk up the road) for dinner: you won't regret it!

Sanctuary cottage is a beautiful little oasis on shaldon’s stunning green. We loved Jayne’s place - brilliantly located 2 minutes walk from the beach, pub and shops, stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and super comfortable and cosy. Jayne was great in sharing clear directions for entering, showed flexibility towards our requirements and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend, would love to return!

A beautiful part of Devon, great location with plenty of fantastic walks, easy to get to where you need and the beach is only a 15 min walk to. The house is really lovely and it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful clean and all you need.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage in Devon! It was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a real escape. What made the experience even more exceptional was how kind and helpful the host was when I accidentally left an item behind. They went above and beyond to make sure it was safely returned to me, which I truly appreciated. Highly recommend this cottage – both for the charming stay and the outstanding hospitality!

Another fantastic stay had. This place is just the perfect piece of tranquility, but also not far from the town. The views are stunning, I'm missing my morning coffees on the suntrap patio gazing down at the sea!

Chris and Carmen’s cottage and walled garden was absolutely perfect in every way. My family and I had a wonderful few days there enjoying their magnificent gardens and spacious, comfortable cottage. It is a beautifully appointed house with plentiful amenities for 6 people. The area is gorgeous with lovely nearby walks. A very special place. Can’t wait to come back on a future visit

Very comfortable cottage with high end amenities with everything you need. The ponies and the moors are literally right on your doorstep. Hot tip: Walk to the Nine Maidens and take a hidden path behind the houses from Belstone to Sticklepath to visit the National Trust Finch Foundry (we loved the tour)!

Lovely cottage, calm, clean and relaxing. Quiet village and lovely neighbours, oh and the coffee at the coffee shop down the road is great also. Nice walks around the village and excellent pub. All in all it was a lovely week and Alia is just brilliant, definitely recommend staying here,👍❤️😁
