We are surrounded by a 35 acre tree farm, so it's very private, yet close to the silicon valley! Our property has a standby generator so we are not affected by power outages.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at Bethany’s Tree Fort. They did an amazing job building this and adding so many little details that made our outdoor experience comfortable and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked (loved the s’more kit). The shower was great giving an outdoor/indoor experience. Bethany was very responsive and gave great recommendations. I’m hoping to get back there again soon for another few days of relaxation.

As we didn't have a car, we also appreciated how close the place is to a bus stop that goes directly to downtown Santa Cruz. We loved staying here for our weekend getaway in Santa Cruz and would highly recommend!

This is a beautiful and comfortable home/location. It is a bit remote, so bring everything you need. We enjoyed the large kitchen, fireplace, comfortable beds and jacuzzi. The fog added an extra element to the redwoods. Our only wish was that the house was better stocked with essentials. We found the area to be very peaceful and would consider returning in the future.

Vintage Charm Close to Downtown and Beaches

My spouse and I stayed at Leslie's property for 3 nights. We flew into San Jose, and the drive to Leslie's was not a huge deal. The rental location is convenient to Santa Cruz main arterials, the North/South highway, and all things beach. We walked to local restaurants, including an ice cream shop recommended by Leslie. We also walked to the wharf, and we enjoyed an awesome lunch at Riva's (another Leslie recommendation). We hosted our son, who is serving in the military at Monterey, two of the nights. We prepared and grilled dinner both of those evenings. He hung out with us in this space as well as the fabulous backyard. The backyard (and the front yard, frankly) are gardening oases, and they were truly relaxing spaces to unwind. A visit with my son would have been special no matter what, but I'm happy to say we were able to tick all of the boxes for a memorable vacation over the Memorial Day holiday.
