House holiday rentals in Dauphin Island

This place was great for my husband and I and 6 adult children. There are 3 levels to this house for some autonomy. You can walk quickly and easily to the beach. You can see the ocean at all times from the windows and on the balconies, too. Super easy instructions to leave and a very reasonable host. We would stay here again, if we get the chance to go to Gulf Shores AL anytime soon. It seems the spices, charcoal and beach equipment is plenty... Could be from past guests, but I'd grocery shop AFTER you take inventory of the kitchen items, etc. NO COMPLAINTS - only GREAT THINGS TO SAY!

Loved the condo and location. Wished we discovered the cart room upon arrival (next to the elevator), but used one to leave.

This has been one of our favorite stays so far! The house is so clean and the beds were so comfortable! Everything was well stocked, especially towels! The pool and hot tub were by far the best. We enjoyed lots of time in both. Elijah and Mary were both extremely communicative and were available for any questions we had! We would definitely stay here again!

We booked this for a date night getaway and it delivered. The design of the house with the large windows was picturesque. The home is a great design with tall ceilings and natural light. It is what you look for in a stay away from your own home that is more of an experience.

Joel’s place was beyond amazing!!! My family and I loved everything about this home! Joel was so kind from the first day he messaged me after booking his place til our very last minute there. Definitely a host & a home that I would recommend, 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely perfect & exactly what we needed with 5 children! Beach wagon, chairs, and sand toys were so so helpful. Our host was extremely accommodating to my many requests on early check in, and incredibly responsive to any questions I had. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The public pool was perfect and was never too crowded. Everyone at the cottages were incredibly friendly. This beach is extremely kid friendly. The walk to the beach was a breeze. Takes maybe 2 minutes until your feet hit the sand! We will definitely be back! 5 stars!!!!

Had a wonderful time. Location was perfect, close enough to everything but away from the main traffic allowing for a relaxing stay. The house was spotless, beautifully furnished, and the kitchen has everything you would want. No need to bring beach gear as there are beach towels, chairs, umbrella, wagon, toys & a small cooler. Would highly recommend this place to others.

I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a large family. We only have the two of us and our dog, but the place is spacious, clean, and near everything. The host is friendly and responsive to any issues.

This place was perfect! Great proximity to the beach, especially considering it is a pet-friendly home. And, close to town if we needed anything. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The beach was not the least bit crowded, and we had beautiful weather. We loved the layout of the house and how spacious it is. Plenty of everything for comfort and for a home away from home! The instructions were clear and posted in multiple places. The owner was very communicative and friendly. Definitely a place we would stay again and again! Thank you for a perfect vacation!

Priscilla was great! She had the house beautifully ready for us. Even a little welcome station! Her communication was outstanding and super friendly! She worked with us on check-in/out time. We can't thank her enough! 10/10 experience!

Stop scrolling and book it! This incredible home on the beach is the most idealistic spot we've ever stayed in. Right on the beach, with every amenity, and detail you could hope for. From beach chairs and umbrellas, to toys and bicycles all included. This home was full of pleasant surprises. The home is immaculate, and perfect for a family vacation. The hosts were the best we've ever had, responsive, friendly, proactive to give recommendations. My family couldn't have asked for more.

We had a lovely time at Tiffany’s place! The house is very close to the beach. You do have to cross the main road but the access felt safe for us and our kids. There were many beach toys and amenities which was very nice. The house and neighborhood were comfortable and quiet. It was fun to sit under the house on the swings and relax in the shade! It was easy to walk and bike around the island. We would be very happy to stay there again!

This was an absolutely beautiful location and the home was clean and comfortable. We loved the ability to be so close to a beach and it was not crowded there. It was peaceful, and Anna steered us to Chaise n Rays for beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas. They delivered each day. We rented a golf cart and everything is so close that we could drive it around instead of loading up the vehicle. Awesome family vacation!

We enjoyed our vacation along with 3 other families at this beautiful beach house! The house is beautiful and very clean! The pool and easy to access beach made our vacation so relaxing! We would highly recommend this house for someone looking for a relaxing vacation away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy vacation attraction! It’s an easy drive to get to town and nice restaurants close by! Sonia was very friendly and easy to work with!

The location was very peaceful and perfect for our fishing trips/days out at the beach. There’s several great restaurants in the area. Haley is a wonderful host and was very accommodating. We plan to stay again soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Josh’s Airbnb on Dauphin Island! Josh was incredibly responsive and friendly, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The home was immaculate and located in a beautiful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our kids had a blast with all the activities available, and having the golf cart made getting around the island super convenient. The house itself was stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and truly felt like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family!

This house has everything you could possibly need! beautiful location with beautiful sunset views. Had a blast fishing off the dock and swimming with the kiddos!

The house was great for my family of 5. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, and it was close to everything. A big perk was the outdoor shower - perfect for rinsing off small kiddos after a day at the beach so we didn’t track a bunch of sand inside. Would highly recommend!

This is a stunning place from which to explore the island! You can walk over the dunes to the secluded beach nearby and take a swim all by yourself (not counting the pelicans and terns). If you want a bicycle to get around the island, there's currently just one rental in operation on the island -- Salty Dog. I recommend calling them in advance, and they can deliver the bikes to the place when you arrive.

Lisa and her husband were quick to respond with answers to questions or to recommendation for things to do with the family. Will definitely book with her again in the future.

For the past several years, I've chosen different places to stay along the Atlantic or Gulf coasts. I'm over 65, vacation with ladies my age, and we share similar goals: clean, spacious rental with easy access to the beach...quiet...area not crowded...friendly restaurants...comfy furniture and well-stocked kitchen. Dauphin Island exceeded our expectations, and this beautiful home was the best place we've stayed. High points: sitting on the back deck and watching a pair of ospreys neatly pluck fish from the Sound; spotting dolphins in the Sound; walking across the street to the Gulf. We chose a week just before the busy season started, and that's when we'll go back next year---sometime in April, when maybe 20% of the vacation homes had guests. We loved the quiet atmosphere of the Sound (new for us) and had the best of both worlds---Gulf and Sound---in one location. One bit of advice: stock up on food, paper products and DW detergent before crossing onto the island. Very few shops!
