This is a great place to stay , Ollie was always available for advice and a chat . The apartment/ flat was clean comfortable and practical. The garden is an amazing place and well worth a visit. I’ve no doubt that I’ll go back there .

We have family in the area, but have never stayed in Yarm. What a delight! There’s an old Norman church up an adjacent footpath, next to a pub serving delicious Thai food. There are footpaths along the Tees, with a large park on the Eaglescliffe side. Restaurants abound, and the energy is palpable. A real treat!

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities. Comfy beds and nice to have 2 bathrooms. We found the walk into town a bit too much so used taxis which were very reasonably priced. Ate at Little Sicily one night, following a review seen on Airbnb. Good food, very reasonable. Ate at Uno Momento in town also, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the wine that greeted us upon arrival!

Great place to stay. Fantastic location - very close to centre of town, just yards away from the Market Square. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. My stay there could not have been more enjoyable.

My partner and I had a great time staying at Debra’s place in Seaham! Exactly as described in the listing, the apartment was spotless and well presented, left us wanting for nothing. Debra was a great host, suggesting different local restaurants and points of interest. Ashoka Indian and The Lamp Room are both well worth a visit on the sea front. Wow! What a beautiful home! We stayed for two nights and didn’t have a single bad thing to say. We arrived to a bottle of Prosecco and biccies. The house was spacious yet cosy, and beautifully kept. The location was perfect for us as we spent the Friday afternoon at Barnard castle and the Saturday at Hugh force. Both were less than half an hours drive. There was biofuel for the fire, little touches like olive oil, salt pepper and garlic paste so you could cook with the same ease as you would at home. and all the radiators were electric so you could turn them off easy and turn them on by asking Alexa to set the heating to X degrees. I would honestly recommend this to anyone who will listen to me ramble on about how lovely this place was. And make sure you do low force waterfall if you like a little walk as high force waterfall you had to pay a few quid entry fee which we didn’t mind and thought was worth it but ended up preferring low force, and the walk to it from high force was stun!

Lovely house which was very clean & tidy. Was just as described in the photos. The house is at the bottom of a quite busy road so there is traffic noise which passes with minimal disruption, this is also within walking distance of Bishop Auckland centre. Only thing could say there were no teabags but there's a shop over the road & we had family round the corner. I would definitely recommended staying here as we hopefully will on our next visit to family.

Had a wonderful stay at David and Anne’s home. The house was very comfortable especially the beds. It was also very clean and beautifully furnished. They also provided very clear instructions and there was everything you need for a relaxing break. Also well situated for the town and to explore surrounding area. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless. Angela was a brilliant host, and left lots of extra finishing touches to make our stay 10/10. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

lovely setting, period house is what it is. The children loved the little bits of history like the writing block that they had learned bout in school. Easy to find, quality bedding very comfortable. We were staying for a wedding so didn't spend a lot of weekend there. Garden was great to sit out in. Welcome pack was a lovely treat, 😋 The homemade cake sustained us all whilst making up all the wedding flowers at Danby church nothing too much trouble for Trish, I asked for full length mirror and there was one provided. All round a pleasant stay

Chris’s place was spacious and bright. Much larger than expected. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Great kitchen. Full sized fridge / freezer. Fantastic washing machine. Dishwasher. Coffee machine and pods. Fast wifi as well. Walking distance of Norton high street with lots of great eating places. Chris’s communication was very responsive. Thanks for the early check in. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

The perfect place to stay for the night, very spacious rooms and clean throughout. Communication from the hosts was excellent and it was easy to get into the property.

Sara's place is a nice place to stay very handy for town and funicular down to or up from pier and front.Saltburn is a quaint place to stay for a few days,a number of nice places to eat and drink.

Lovely and calm apartment, very clean and well stocked, and had everything we needed for a 1 night stay while we were in the area to attend a wedding. The record player and nice selection of classical LPs was a great touch! Check in was super easy and with a personal touch, we picked up the keys from Fiona in their cycle shop downstairs, she was lovely! Easy parking close to the flat and short walking distance to the Market Square and Auckland Project museums. Really nice experience overall!

I returned "home" to Durham as part of my sabbatical from my work in Australia. I was looking for a place close to the city, but also quiet and peaceful too. Chris' place was exactly what I was looking for. If you are lucky enough to experience the beautiful spring weather, as I did, you can enjoy sitting on the terrace watching, the ducks, rowing boats and life in general sail by. It is simply picture perfect! The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you could ever want! The beds are clean and comfortable and I slept better than I have in any other space that is not home! I would highly recommend and hope to back soon. If you are considering Chris' place - look no further. Just do it. You will not regret it!

Great location, good base for exploring area, trains, buses etc. Flat had all I needed, wanted for nothing, comfortable, warm. Overall peaceful but near lots of pubs, bar, market etc

Rosie’s was a great place to stay, clean, tidy and cosy, with all you could want within walking distance. This was the second time we had stayed in the town and it’s a lovely spot. Lots of places around and about to visit and lots to see. The cottage was secluded, off the Main Street and was well kept, modern with a lovely vibe. The extras that Rosie provided were a nice touch. All in all a great weekend.

We had a lovely four night stay in Lawyers loft. The apartment was perfectly positioned on the Main Street in Hawes, it was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. It was lovely just being able to sit in the lounge, log fire burning and watch life go by on the street below. And even though the apartment is just off the Main Street it’s so tranquil- there is hardly any noise. We look forward to returning in the future and thoroughly recommend Lawyers loft.
