Family-friendly holiday rentals in Darlington

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was exactly what we wanted, in a great location with lots to do. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog and very private. We will be back soon.

Pear tree cottage was a completely stress free holiday. From the guided tour at the start of our holiday to the convenience of the hot tub whenever we liked. The other cottages were occupied but we didn’t see or hear any of our neighbours. Parking was ample two cars easy and the other driveways looked just as big. The kitchen is well equipped as were the two bathrooms. The sunrises we experienced were exceptional, looking out of either the double doors in the lounge or the double doors in the master bedroom. The highlight was the hot tub. Spacious, convenient, well lit and powerful. Again we were lucky to have two completely cloudless nights, star gazing like never before. The beds were a little hard but actually gave a great nights sleep. We shall definitely look to book again!

Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

Fantastic cottage and location is to die for. I have got to say David and Barbara have a jewel here. Claire has communicated everything we needed and answered every question we had. Again fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Thanks and hope to return

The photos don’t do this place justice. It really is beautiful. Quaint, spacious, clean and tidy. Plenty of facilities such as vac, mop, washing machine, dryer, cleaning products etc. Kitchen is a lovely space to all sit together. Bedrooms were very spacious and room for clothes etc. Lovely nights sleep in comfortable beds. Central heating worked a treat with log fire in the room (we didn’t need to use) including other heaters. It is lovely and warm and cosy. The views and surrounding areas are lovely. We used the hot tub which was a lovely addition and worked well been outside the conservatory part. We were a family group of mixed ages and we would absolutely stay here again. Host was great with contact prior to arrival with flexible check in/out. Overall a brilliant stay and we’ve also said we would return.

The second we put the key in the door we knew we were in for a treat. Walking into the huge kitchen with a table fit for The Waltons and the highest kitchen ceiling we’ve ever seen. Then on into the wonderfully spacious living room with beams and a log burner and sofas so comfy and roomy, we felt immediately relaxed. Beautiful fields with cows, horse riders passing by and the only sounds were birdsong. One of our favourite air bnbs to date. We didn’t want to leave! Our old boy pooch was very contented pottering round the lovely garden and sunbathing. Thank you Victoria for letting us stay

We stayed here over Christmas and what an amazing treat it was! An incredible place to stay anyway (the most wonderful building and magnificently restored, completely safe for the dogs, stunning grounds and surroundings, every last thing had been thought of) but the extra festive touches were great. Will definitely book again.

Willow Cottage was outstanding. we cannot fault this accommodation. I highly recommend a stay here, we were not disappointed. The cottage was warm, comfortable, well equipped and stylish. We didn't want to leave. Thank you for your hospitality.

The house is beautifully appointed, with a modern kitchen and two bathrooms wet room downstairs). The place is comfortable, with Wi-Fi and smart TV. High Fremington is a short walk across fields to Reeth and along the road to Grinton. The village itself is very quiet and minimal traffic so safe for children and animals.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional property and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The property was immaculate—spotlessly clean, fresh, and beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. The spacious interior featured an open-plan design that combined the living, dining, and kitchen areas seamlessly. The exposed beams added charm and authenticity, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. Surrounded by stunning scenery, the property boasts breathtaking views of the Cleveland Hills, perfect for nature lovers and dog walkers. Woodland trails and fields are nearby, and the quaint town of Stokesley, with its shops, cafés, and pubs, is just a short distance away. David, the owner, was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring our stay was perfect. His hospitality made us feel completely at ease. A true gem.

Great, quiet location within walking distance of local attractions. Great host - clear and straight forward check in details and quick, responsive and helpful throughout stay.

My sister and I really enjoyed staying in Binks cottage. Amanda and her family made us feel very welcome and we were able to see the lambs in the barn and learn about their care. The cottage is exceptionally comfortable and had everything we wanted. Excellent place to stay. Thankyou!

Being in the centre of Richmond with off road parking was for us, a big plus. The yard where the property is located even though it is so close to the busy market square, shops, hotels and pubs was very quiet by day and night. The house is comfortably furnished, well equipped, clean and maintained. The Owner was quick to respond to queries.

Lovely accommodation felt right at home very comfortable would defo stay again when in the area 👍🏻
