Located on this one of a kind spot, the front of the home is considered Historic Harpers Ferry, and the back Historic Bolivar. Either way you look at it you are centrally located within walking distance. On a private road it is not only private, it is quiet. There is a quaint bakery at the top of Boundary Street to the right and to the left there are 2 restaurants, and the local band hot spot. You will find this spot VERY spacious as it is a 1 bed, 1 bath, full kitchen that is almost 1000 sq ft.

No dock/steps to the river, but a weed whacked path. Early check-in /late check-out will not be considered until the day prior to arrival/departure. 2 night min weekends & holiday. Mountain Church Cottage offers a great stay in the hills of Middletown, Maryland. Activities nearby include access to the Appalachian Trail. The roads are a perfect challenge for the serious cyclist and runner, but it’s just a 15 minute drive to the flat terrain of the C&O Canal bike path. For kayakers, Potomac River access is in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. It's just a short drive to Antietam National Battlefield. And for those who enjoy a glass, there are a number of wineries in the region.

All water activities are at your own risk. WV DNR requires all boaters to have a lifejacket and all boats to have a whistle. Please bring your own whistle(s). MD or WV fishing license is fine.
