Holiday rentals with breakfast in Dare County

Love love loved the place and being able to walk to the beach was an absolute treat! Quick walk to watch the sun go down on the beach and over to Awful Arthurs for some steamed clams and raw oysters!! To be able to just be able to walk was an absolute treat! Our dog loved the fenced in yard - we don't have that at home so that was an extra special treat! We just love the area and didn't want to leave - I did, however, have 9 days in Paradise and absolutely grateful for that!! We will definitely be back as soon as possible!!! Thank you Elwood and Mary!!

The home was neat, very clean, well-kept, and as described. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pool house. Being so close to the beach was a big plus for our group. The home was very comfortable and we hope to be back soon.

Everything was perfect for family of 4…. close to town and walkable to stores, restaurants , and waterfront . Everything was clean and convenient .

Was kind of a last minute decision to head to OBX but so glad we did and glad we found Sponge Bob’s! Had everything we needed along with all the stuff for the beach so we didn’t have to haul half our house with us. Easy walk to a quiet uncrowded part of the beach. We will certainly come back again.

This was the best Airbnb and/or B&B experience we’ve ever had. Johanna and Michael are the perfect hosts and their house and hospitality are off the charts. The reviews are all spot on and this is a true B&B experience. Johanna went overboard to ensure my family’s comfort and stay were amazing. We would DEFINITELY stay again. It was one of the best parts of our OBX experience. Thank you so much Johanna for everything. You are the bestest host ever!!!

Staying in the Southern Crows Nest was such a treat! The house was beautiful, clean and very peaceful. The pool, hot tub and outdoor seating areas were amazing! Johanna and Michael were very friendly and easy to talk to. Cant wait to come back!

Wow, what can I say about Colington Creek Inn? As someone that books maybe 10-15 rentals on this app per year, I can’t recommend enough. During my stay, Darold was welcoming, willing to accommodate but let guests enjoy their stay without hovering (hard to report for most proper B&B’s). I stayed in the cottage, which had wonderful water views, steeped in privacy on their beautiful property. My last day, Darold sent me on to my 1.5k+ mile drive with some cut up fruit in a ziplock, an album from a musician that frequents—and even named a song after—Colington Creek. If looking to check out the Outer Banks, this is the spot to stay!

The host did good job on cleaning and the location is good!

This place was an absolute jewel that we found! Everything was top notch, welcoming/easy check in- we were greeted at the door, walked to our room, very thorough how the bed & breakfast worked, sooooo friendly, absolute beautiful views/conversations, and it was topped off with absolutely delicious food, we are already planning our next trip to this bed & breakfast! If you are in the area, I HIGHLY recommend this stay!

Great location, beautiful house. Right across from the beach. Our room had a nice balcony. We liked the coffee and snacks in the shared kitchen downstairs also nice to meet other guests to socialize with. Would stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, welcoming and comfortable! The location is hard to beat and the host is incredible!

From arrival, Dawn was very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Breakfasts were excellent! Both Dawn and Darold were very friendly and we would not hesitate to stay here on our next trip to the area.

This was a fantastic place to stay! Great location with public beach right across the street. Bill and Veda were the sweetest people and made wonderful breakfast each morning. Would highly recommend!

Mike was a great host. we had the instructions for parking and getting in the place 24-48 hours before arrival and it was just like he said. That was great because we arrived after dark. The place we rented was cozy and looked exactly like the pictures. The beach and Avalon Pier were within walking distance. The pool and the entire place was very cleanly. We brought our own supplies but continental breakfast and a wine was even provided. Very responsive and would definitely recommend to friends and family if they are in OBX.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cypress Moon Inn. The inn was gorgeous, and the attention to detail was impressive. Such a charming space. The best part was the balcony right outside of the bedroom overlooking the water. We were able to see deer and other wildlife from the balcony. Greg and Linda were both so welcoming and friendly, and they went out of their way to provide recommendations and make sure that all of our needs were accommodated. Even though the weather during our trip wasn't the best, we found ways to explore the area, like hiking the nature trail in the Kitty Hawk Reserve only a short walk from the inn.
