Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Dar El Salam

Staying at Khaled's villa was so good. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Although the accommodation is a bit remote, you can escape the hustle and bustle of Cairo. It really feels like a retreat and I would recommend it to everyone. Khaled was a very helpful and great host. We felt very comfortable. Also Ahmed (chef) makes so delicious food! We had breakfast and dinner a few times it was perfect.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Ibrahim and his family are very kind and helpful. We felt at home. The food is AMAZING, it's truly homemade Egyptian flavors, absolutely recommended. We had several meals, and all of them were different every time. We tried camel for the first time, it was super delicious! Ibrahim was always asking if we needed anything. We had our meals on the top floor there was a very nice view of the pyramids. It has been a truly magical experience to be in Egypt and to be hosted and welcomed by these warm people. Thank you so much!

Sherry's apartment is a huge space with ample room for relaxing and entertaining. The view over the Nile and directly across to the pyramids of Giza and Darshur is just incredible. The apartment is not new and some fixtures are in need of attention. On the whole, this is a great place to experience Cairo.

The apartment from Amir is in a very nice and safe location in Maadi. Amir is a great and responsive host. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. Would highly recommend staying here if you go to Cairo.

A very nice,clean and spacious apartment in one of Cairo's most beautiful areas full of trees and old villas. It's a 20-30 minute ride to most attractions east of the Nile. We loved coming back here after a day around the busy city as it's much more quiet. Nice restaurants and cafes around. Mourad and Mina made sure we had everything we needed. The bawab is a very friendly man. I'd come back!

I really loved my stay here. Mohamed and his team were very communicative and quick to help with any issues I had. The apartment is very spacious and well stocked. The rooftop was definitely the best part. Absolutely breathtaking views and plenty of space. The location was perfectly situated in a walkable area of Maadi with lots of the best restaurants and cafes close by. I was able to walk anywhere I needed to and Ubers were easy to find for places that were further. I stayed alone and felt very safe even at night. Highly recommend for solo or group travelers. Thank you to everyone who was so kind and helpful during my stay.

We had a great time staying at Hesham's place, it was perfect for our 8 person group. Hesham was super helpful and everything was as expected. The location was ideal as there were many good restaurants within walking distance with a lot of variety and close to plenty of shops too!

We had the best stay at Sonya's villa, usually I can think of something that I would have liked to have been done a bit differently but here I can't think of anything, it really was perfect. The place was spotless, the garden is beautiful and we spent most of our time in the pool. The location is great because its literally walking distance from the New Museum and also is very close to the pyramids. Sonya was also always available if I had any questions. Ive stayed in a lot of places im egypt maybe 20 different places and this has been by far my favourite. Thank you so much, we made a lot of happy memories.

we stayed for three nights. Our flight arrived late around 11pm local time. Mohamed helped us find our taxi to reach to our destination. His staff at the property were very kind to let us in even though it was already mid night. The location is great,, you are less than 7 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk to Saqqara. Giza is 40 minutes, Cairo is 45 to 50 minutes drive. You can order Uber or taxis from the house. You can buy all groceries locally within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for a family or a large group. lots of space to sit outside, bbq, garden and animals. Mohamed is extremely warm, caring and generous person. Always willing to help you. His staff at the property are extremely helpful and kind people as well. We will love to stay again. Thank you Mohamed for making us feel at home.

There was 6 of us that stayed here the place was amazing the host was quick to answer any of our questions my only disappointment was the cooking utensils and silverware was dirty that was my only disappointment over all it was a great place to stay and Mohamed was a great guy and great to deal with Ty so much
