Our carriage house apartment is located on a peaceful marsh on beautiful Daniel Island next to walking/biking paths. It is also walking distance to parks, shops, and restaurants. Daniel Island is approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the airport, downtown Charleston, and local beaches. All AirBnB rentals in Charleston & Daniel Island must have a business license. We very much enjoyed staying here! Fiona’s pre-arrival details contained all the information we needed. The place was decorated nicely, very clean, and the toiletries were high quality. The large screen TV, which blended in with the furnishings, had a nice streaming interface. Numerous restaurants are located just half a mile away and you can walk through the neighborhood or drive to get there. I also liked that the quickest route had a sidewalk all the way. We especially liked the Odd Duck Market for breakfast and Southern Roots Smokehouse for dinner. We also appreciated the quick access to I-526 and I-26 to help get us to wedding events at Folly Beach and John’s Island as well as touring Fort Moultrie which were all, even though located south of Charleston, less than 30 minutes away. I also appreciated that an EV Supercharger was located only a few minutes away, too.
