Solo motorcycle traveler. Area is beautiful. The location is peaceful, the accommodation is warm and authentic, the view is sublime. Small town 5 minutes' drive away where you can find everything. Multiple activities are available nearby: hiking, electric or non-electric biking, golf, canoeing, motorcycle road trip :-) In short, I had a great week :-)

Lovely little gite in the most stunning area at the foot of the castle and overlooking a walnut orchard. Close to many towns and areas of outstanding beauty and interest such as La Roque-Gageac and the ancient fort, Gran Roc with its incredible caves and Salat. Very peaceful place to stay with a delightful bistro 5 minutes walk and walking distance to the river and beach/canoe hire

Jon was a great host and supplied everything we needed, also really quick to answer any questions. The place was amazing and in great condition, really nice rural location with plenty of towns to explore nearby for day trips. We had a lovely week and a half staying there and exploring the local area! The house has everything you need and the pool table, swimming pool & BBQ are perfect for relaxing days staying in and enjoying the sunshine! Thanks Jon!

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. This is a lovely apartment and just as described. It has been very tastefully renovated and the fixtures and fittings are high quality and comprehensive. The location in the old quarter of Bergerac, near the river and close to shops, restaurants and tourist opportunities is first rate and it would be hard to find something better in a 2 bed apartment. Highly recommended and I am sure we will book again in the future.

This is a wonderfully unique airbnb in the “rapunzel” tower & i loved it! Others have mentioned the spiral stair climb - it’s real but totally worth the climb. Gorgeous views over old town roof tops, in the midst of beautiful old streets & lovely restaurants (triple thumbs up to la petit auberge - best meal I’ve had in my 3 weeks in france). Good living area & kitchen with balcony (& little washing machine works a treat snd good outdoor area for quick drying). Upstairs another lovely space with bedroom & bathroom. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Very nice place, nice host and available for guests. The only downside we had was perhaps the lack of outlets in the accommodation. We didn't think of it, but we should have asked for an extension cord or a double socket.

The accommodation is located in the countryside, quiet; ideal for resting, even for a single night. The welcome by the owners was very friendly and having a cold beer in the refrigerator when we arrived was a nice little extra.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

Very convenient since it's in a walkable distance to the medieval center and restaurants but in a very calm neighborhood. The studio is in a traditional architectural construction with beautiful views at either front or back . We love the bathroom with its shower adaptable to my wife's condition as a PMR.

We spent 4 days in Sarlat, Jonathan's accommodation is perfectly located in the city center of Sarlat. ideally located for walking around Sarlat without a car. We were blessed with amazing weather during our stay, after our days of walks nearby, castles, gardens, canoeing, village visits, we enjoyed going out in the evening in Sarlat to enjoy the terraces and restaurant without having to take the car. Jonathan is adorable, flexible both on our arrival and on our departure. The listing is as described. ideal for a couple. We'll be happy to go back!

My wife and I cannot begin to express our appreciation for Louise as host and our accommodations during our visit to Le Bugue. Louise went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was responsive and proactive in communicating with us leading up to our visit. My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.
