Holiday rentals with a patio in Currituck County

We loved watching the boats in the canal. The room was clean, and quiet. Gia was quick to respond to questions. We would stay again if we are in the area.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

Our stay at the Sit N' Duck was absolutely perfect! The residence is well laid out with amenities to make your stay as easy and care-free as possible. Mary and Larry provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the washer and dryer were a helpful additional touch. If we wanted a beach day, it was only a 2-minute walk to a very secluded and peaceful section of the beach with great views, the sound of the ocean, and pristine waves. We brought a small beach cart which was easily maneuvered out and down the beach access boardwalk, but if you're packing light it wouldn't be hard to carry everything for the short distance. Even in the rain, there are wonderful covered sitting areas to sit out and enjoy the rain as we read a book or just chatted. Additionally, there's no shortage of things to do nearby in a short drive up to Duck or down to Kitty Hawk or Kill Devil Hills. We couldn't have imagined a better trip to OBX and we look forward to hopefully staying again in the future!

Woods and Waves was the perfect spot for our vacation. Christy is an excellent and responsive host who went above and beyond to meet our every need. The apartment is cozy and adorably outfitted. The beds were comfortable (plus the alcove beds were equipped with an excellent selection of books and reading pillows). Every amenity was taken care of - the kitchen was stocked with dishes and cookware as well as coffee and snacks, and there were ample paper products and detergents for the dishwasher and washer/dryer. Every beach need was anticipated (including chairs, umbrella, and a backpack cooler). And the pool is a magical lagoon paradise that is shaded in the late afternoon - perfect after a day of relaxing in the sun on the beach. Don't hesitate if you're considering Woods and Waves - you will not be disappointed!!

It was our first time using Airbnb, we went to OBX for my son's 9th birthday with family. The lookout was a perfect stay with our entire family, everyone enjoyed the decor and felt relaxed there. my son really enjoyed the elevator and was surprised to see a house with one in it! Also the elevator was a plus with my elderly grandparents easily getting in to the house. Would definitely like to stay again or spend time at another property.

Lori’s place was nice, quaint, and exactly what we were looking for. It had a cozy charm that made us feel right at home. Lori was super responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. One of the highlights was the pier — such a cool spot to relax and take in the views. Would definitely stay again!

Anne and Carlos were incredibly responsive and attentive hosts, especially with helping us store our bikes. Their place was charming and the kitchen was well stocked!

This place was lovely! Very cozy and a nice area. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay here and there was lots to do in the area. Glen was also a great host!

The house was perfect for our trip. Place was clean place was clean and right on the beach… I agree with others that the kitchen could use a HomeGoods trip( we ended up having to buy a $15 can opener!). But the basics was available, per listing. Areca was a great host and very helpful. Look forward to returning soon!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained, spotless home that is also very comfortable. All floors are wood, so no worry when coming in from the pool. The pool area is fabulous! I really enjoyed it during my HOT visit!! Absolutely recommend, whether a single or family.

We had an excellent Airbnb stay at Evan’s place. It was exactly as described, super clean and comfortable. We loved fishing from the backyard in the canal and kayaking to the bay.

What a great place to stay. Splash of lime worked great for our group. The house is set up nicely and has lots of storage available. We were lucky enough to get daily visits from the wild horses throughout the day. Martin is an excellent host and responded very quickly to answer any questions we had.

House was well maintained. Everything you needed for the stay was provided.

Excellent accommodations, host, and location! We looked for a last minute Memorial Day get away, and this rental was perfect. Our boys enjoyed the pool and proximity to the park and playground. The location made for easy travel to the beach, the lighthouse, and other area attractions. The community was quiet and friendly, and the hosts were very responsive. Thanks for a peaceful and restful weekend stay!

Beautiful home in a perfect location. The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of games for rainy days. Gabriel was a great host allowing for flexibility in our plans during a tropical storm. The pool area is fantastic with private cabanas and poolside service from the Salty Rim- which has excellent tacos and margaritas! The unit is conveniently located by a public beach access with bathrooms and picnic tables. The house was fully stocked with beach items- chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, wagon, cooler and toys! 10/10 would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time. Place was very clean and stocked with whatever one would need from home. We enjoyed our visit very much!

Beautiful home and very spacious. Lynn was very helpful and came very late at night to help us with a lock box issue. Very close to the beach and had lots of beach items provided

The only thing that wasn’t great, was the limited amount of toilet paper. We needed more than one roll for each bathroom.

Overall the stay was nice, finding the condo was not as easy but granted we did come late at night which made finding the place harder. Lynn was very nice and walked us to the condo. The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious and the hot tub was the best feature. They also had beach gear in the garage which was a nice addition. They have an outside area with solar powered lights and an outdoor shower. They also have a guest book that guests can sign which made the stay memorable. Laundry room was nice with modern appliances and plenty of beach towels.

Great location. Walked to beach, nearby lighthouse, restaurants, quick market, and ice cream. Loved the pool on site. Host was very responsive and made great food recommendations. Fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. King sized beds were comfortable. Perfect for our family of four with two adult children.

Paul and Scot's home was as-advertised if not nicer than the pictures indicated. They were very responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. Their home was very clean which we very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying at Vitamin Sea.
