This is a great central flat in Cupar with the train station just a 2 minute walk away, and the taxi rank even closer, and only a 15-minute drive to St Andrew's with some amazing golf venues, ideal for a getaway, golfing trip or just to explore Scotland With speakers built into the roof it is ideal for a nice relaxing time away. And a train running to Edinburgh and Dundee every hour a vehicle will not be needed. However, Private parking is included so there is no worry about paying any meters.

It's a beautiful, quiet, and spacious house. This was great for our 6 adults with lots of room and 3 bathrooms really helped us get going in the morning. Alan and Gina communicated clearly and quickly with us and gave great recommendations for things to do. we would recommend this property and it's hosts and would gladly stay again when we are in the area. Shirley was a marvellous host - sharing info in good time prior to arrival & going out of her way to accommodate us arriving a little early. The flat itself was beyond expectations with a great layout & homely touches. Beautifully decorated & extremely comfortable with plenty of space. Light & clean with great windows overlooking the horse paddock & the views beyond. The beds were clean & comfy, a great shower in the bathroom & fab range in the kitchen where we enjoyed making meals each day. Our car sat nav originally led us the wrong way once we got to the village but Shirley’s description was spot on once we followed that. Freuchie is a small peaceful place & ideally located to go on day trips up the coast towards Crail & St Andrews or further up North past Perth up to Dunkeld. We enjoyed Falkland hill & going to the Pillars of Hercules organic farm shop & cafe nearby & would happily stay here again as it was a real home from home with fantastic features to make you feel relaxed.

We had a great stay! The place was spotless, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of room for four adults to spread out and relax. What really stood out was how helpful and accommodating the hosts were—they came through for us on short notice after our previous Airbnb was unsuitable for our requirements. Their quick response and kindness made a big difference, and we’re so glad we ended up here. Highly recommended!

Dougal was always responsive whenever we had a question. He was extremely flexible in whatever we asked of him. One tiny tidbit is that the coffee maker is tiny, especially in a house of that size. I would suggest he buy a normal size coffee maker. But overall the kitchen was well equipped, the property was clean and comfortable and just a 20-minute drive into St. Andrews. Would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at Karen’s cottage. Karen was great with her communication and very helpful! The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed and was in immaculate condition. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us staying there. The living room has comfy sofas and chair and lovely views out into the countryside- the sunsets were beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy home cooked meals and space for us all to sit around the table. The bedrooms were huge and the beds are the comfiest we have all slept in! The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful setting and is just a 15 minute drive into St Andrews. Would 100% recommend Karen’s cottage and will be sure to return!
