Wow! What a stunning paradise. From the beautifully landscaped yard to the excellent craftsmanship of the home, this place is perfect. Whoever designed and built this home really knew what they were doing. You really do have a near private beach just steps from the front porch. Our favorite part was just sitting on the front porch enjoying the sounds of nature with coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. Late May/early June is a great time to visit. We didn’t need to use the A/C once during our visit. Everything is well thought out, from the beach chairs, towels and sand castle toys to every piece of stemware and kitchen utensil you might need in the kitchen. Also, the town of Paraty is just a 15min drive away with lots of shopping/dining options. And the host, Angela, in the 15 years my family has been renting vacation properties, is the best host I’ve ever worked with. She was extremely responsive and arranged so many details and all our activities. Excellent!!

A beautiful place to stay near Paraty! The chalet is thoughtfully decorated and is a lovely space to spend time in, with everything you need. We really enjoyed long evenings on the terrace surrounded by nature. The nearby waterfall is great for swimming, too. Check in was easy and communication from Goretti great. She even sent us a delicious cornmeal cake! Highly recommend staying here.

Raquel and her mother Rilda were super helpful. The house is cozy and extremely clean, we went with two medium-sized dogs, there were no restrictions either in the house or on the beach we went to, which was São Gonçalo. I went in May, perfect place, with trees making shade! 5 to 7 minutes by car, beautiful and quiet beach, with few restaurants and many boat trips, but the beach is so good and empty out of season, that we don't even feel the need to go on a trip. During the day, it is important to have repellent, but nothing surreal (I am allergic) but light repellent for the day (I did not take it, but we managed to buy it there, in the entrance guardhouse). There is a certain distance between the house and the Historic Center (about 20 min.), but I prefer to be close to a good beach than the center. Going by car and with the dogs, it was easy to go to dinner in the city center and spend the day there before leaving. Nothing to complain about, we will definitely come back! Not to mention that there is a pharmacy and market nearby. Note: by car!

Thalita was extremely kind and proactive from the first moment of contact. He responded super fast. We had problems with a lack of water in the house, but it was always promptly resolved and attended to. We will return more often for sure.

My experience was excellent from start to finish. Communication with the host was quick and attentive, all my questions were answered promptly. The place is perfect for those seeking tranquility and peace. The house is very well maintained, clean, very charming and cozy. Everything was exactly as described (actually, even better in person) with all the essentials available, including bedding, household utensils and a full kitchen. What struck me most was the silence around me, ideal for resting, reading a book or just enjoying the peace of the place. At night, only the sound of nature was heard, which made the experience even more special. The location is a bit far from the center, but that's exactly what made the place so special for those looking for a break from the daily grind. Without a doubt, I would stay again. I highly recommend it for those who want a weekend of rest or even a longer stay to disconnect.

Beautiful house, well decorated , cozy, clean and organized! It offers everything you need for a good stay! We were greeted by Fabiana with great kindness and attention! I, my husband and son have spent a great extended holiday, and were pleased with the stay. All very comfortable, well structured and with a super pleasant outdoor area! We want to return soon!

First time in Paraty... We had a wonderful stay! The location by the water was absolutely beautiful — peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. Wanice was friendly and incredibly responsive. She made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. She also provided some great local recommendations that made exploring the area even better. Lovely place! Fantastic location, we loved it!!!

The house is exactly as in the photos, it has all the necessary amenities and is wonderful! The surroundings are very quiet, with no noise and plenty of nature around. Letícia is very kind, gave us tips for sightseeing and was always available to help, there was a cake and fruit when we arrived at the house, she was flexible at check-in and check-out. We will definitely be back another time! Thank you!

Chalé Refúgio was a wonderful find, isolated as we wanted, super clean and organized and with everything we needed available to spend a holiday in Cunha. The starry sky at night and the visit of the little dogs were also very nice. The distance to the attractions in Cunha was also ok! For the location, I advise you to put it on Google Maps, because I had no difficulty, the signs on the dirt road also help. The host was also very helpful and respectful. I highly recommend it!

It was a great choice! I was very close to where I took my course and I was able to walk and get to know the surroundings. I also saved a lot on food because I made breakfast and dinner at the accommodation, which has a well-equipped kitchen. The host also sent me an e-book with a lot of information about Cunha, gastronomic and tourist spots. I recommend it.

Our days at Casa Pomar were wonderful. Beautiful and perfect space to connect with nature and yourself. Perfect for inspiring artistic souls like ours! Our dogs loved to run freely and meet the oxen. The place is great for dogs! As for the house, everything was perfect and we had no problems with anything. We cooked a few days and everything I needed was available in the kitchen. Be sure to order the breakfast basket prepared with great affection by Nicolas and Malena, it is well worth it and everything is delicious! We look forward to returning soon!

Rodrigo's house is wonderful, very comfortable, great bed, delicious shower, kitchen with all the utensils, beautiful garden. All perfect, I felt at home, the energy of the house is very good, well located, good internet, I was very satisfied with all that the house offers. I even made a little fire🔥. José received us with great kindness and promptness to everything we request. Great people! When I return to Cunha, that's where I want to stay. I loved it! We were extremely happy with our accommodation. We were enchanted by the house, the space and the affection and attention of the hostess Suely. Airbnb is in a bucolic corner in the middle of the woods. The access is 20 minutes from Cunha by asphalt + 10 minutes by dirt road (good!). I recommend the place if you are only by car.
