Cottage holiday rentals in Cumberland

We had a wonderful couple of nights at Adam’s cottage. Easy walk into Lund. The place is beautifully designed and so comfortable.

A great spot on a quiet bay, perfect for relaxing, going for a paddle and exploring the many nearby attractions. An evening dip in the hot tub to cap it off makes for a wonderful stay.

Awesome little cabin by the beach, the photos and description are accurate and well aligned. We loved gazing out over the ocean and mountains, the grassy yard area was so lovely to have for our fur baby. Beach access was just a few steps away. And of course the hot tub was awesome to enjoy the views from too. The beds and linens were very comfortable and we slept great. You can hear some noise from the road but knowing Campbell River layout we expected this and it didn’t detract from our stay and at night it’s not much. Willow Point is just a few min walk away and has a small grocery store, restaurant, coffee shop and bakery. We were very comfortable and happy here and would absolutely stay again if in the area.

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

This is a lovely 4 bedroom home at a great little resort. The pool is perfect temperature, with a hot tub and warm tub. Guests should note the pool hours are “dawn to dusk” and that is strictly enforced. The view from the lawn above the rocky beach at the edge of the complex is breathtaking, and there are picnic tables there for seaside lunches and sunset cocktails. The home was decently equipped and very clean and the beds were comfortable. Younger kids will enjoy riding their scooter around the complex. Nice little tennis court (bring your own rackets etc). Overall a very enjoyable stay!

This is a fantastic quaint little beach cottage to enjoy the island's natural beauty. Easy access to fun on the water. The family really enjoyed the lawn sports items the hosts provided. Thank you!

Todd was an incredibly responsive host. The view from the chairs is gorgeous. It’s over an hour walk to the wharf and general store so be prepared for that. Thanks for having us!

We loved it here! The cottage and property were so charming and inviting. Our kids loved their cozy bed nooks with toys hidden underneath. We all enjoyed spending time with the animals and wandering the wonderful flower and vegetable gardens. Carol was exceptionally welcoming and generous. We would definitely recommend staying here and are already planning to return.

George was an attentive and generous host, and we experienced true hospitality here. He went out of his way for us. The cottage has gardens on all sides and hummingbirds on the porch. The area is quiet and the neighbours are friendly. Make sure to visit the Deep Bay Marine Field Station, and Rathtrevor Beach at low tide. The drive to Tofino/Ucluelet area was exceptional and worth a day trip. Thanks George and Marion!

We were very impressed with home's location, its fully equipped kitchen, the comfy beds and the wonderful large outdoor deck! There was an easy and safe access to the beach. We quickly adapted to the steep set of stairs going up to the two upstairs bedrooms. We really enjoyed the access to the balcony located off the main bedroom to watch the waves and listen to the ocean at night!

What a beautiful cabin! we arrived with 4 adults, 3 teens and 1 pre teen, there was plenty to do for everyone. Sophie had bikes for everyone. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and 2 stoves and fridges made it easy for 2 families to coexist.

Tara's place fabulous. The exterior of the place and the surrounding garden were stunning and the interior provided thr coziness of ski chalet vibes. We felt right at home in this space and quickly were able to settle in and relax. The neighborhood was also gorgeous and easily walkable and quite close to the lovely Comox Spit.

Amazing stay at Myra and Ron’s place! Great place for families - the beach is very close and we appreciated the beach toys that they left for our kids to play with. The binder they created with places to go is really thorough. The place is clean and well equipped - we cooked all our dinners there and never missed anything. We stayed there 5 days and could have stayed longer! Thanks a lot!

I stayed at Shirley’s place for the weekend as I was in the area for SAR tracker training. This place was absolutely perfect. I wish I had the time to explore the beach and hope to be back maybe in the fall again. Thank you so much Shirley and Ted.

Shannon’s cottage is an absolute gem. I stayed by myself for 5 nights to relax and explore the surroundings. I had a wonderful time cooking dinners, coffee by the marsh, evening wine and charcuterie under the gazebo. Did day trips to Mt. Washington, nature walks in the forests, and several waterfalls. Several vineyards close by too. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a peaceful spot with plenty of incredible nature surrounding you.

Terrific place to stay! Nestled in a charming historic neighbourhood of Cumberland, the space is well-designed and feels light and airy. Very comfortable bed and bath, everything we needed plus some thoughtful extra touches. The weather was a little cool during our stay so we appreciated the heating, and could imagine that the bedroom ceiling fan and portable AC would be useful in a heat spell. The host was helpful, and we appreciated the flexibility with our departure time. We hope to return when we're next in Cumberland!
