Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Culpeper

We had a lovely stay! The home is in a beautifully updated old house that still maintains its historic charm. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully cared for. It was peaceful and quiet, with pretty, farm-like views out the windows—great for relaxing. I also appreciated that it was just a quick 10-minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and even a 24-hour gym. One big plus for me: there were plenty of towels and pillows, which I always find makes a huge difference in comfort. Would absolutely stay again!

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

We had a such a wonderful time! Everything we needed was there and more: plenty of coffee, granola bars for the hikes, coal for the grill. We felt right at home. Thank you for this wonderful place!

This is a really lovely space, secluded and beautiful! I really liked all the art and design inside the house as well. Beds were super comfy and of course the suspended net was a big hit with kids. We would love to stay here again!

This is our favorite place to stop on the half way point of our trips! Our second stay here was just as incredible as the first and the snacks are so appreciated!!

The place was really well set up. the drive up is a bit confusing the first time for sure. The house has everything a couple could need. Little bit of privacy, a nice space and a close proximity to a couple of small towns. The house was clean and had plenty of blankets, towels etc. Only negative (and it's a nitpick cause there was a lot of rain the weeks leading up to our stay) but the back deck furniture was covered in mildew and dead leaves. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I have stayed at several homes in the local area and Robinson River Retreat did not disappoint. From first inquiry to check-out Laura was very responsive and accommodating with my questions and check-in information. The house is better than the pictures online and descriptions were spot on. I was really impressed by the size of the rooms and even though we didn't have a full house can easily see that 10 people would be very comfortable and not crowded. It was too cold to swim but I did check out the swimming hole across the street. I'm hoping to try it out when the weather is warmer. There is so much to do in the local area, from boundary access hiking SNP to vineyards, local history, activities at Graves Mountain or just chill out and do nothing. Loved loved loved this place. My wife and I were looking for solitude and quiet, and wow did this deliver. We didn't hear a sound the whole time we were here other than birds and sometimes rain. The house is really nice, very well decorated, felt right at home immediately. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Take the instructions seriously about printing or downloading directions before you go, because there is really no cellular reception anywhere around the area. Wifi worked great once we got there, though. The movie collection was much appreciated. Needs more Marvel. :) We will absolutely be back.

Such a great space with everything you need. You’ll enjoy your view in the comfort of the space. The view and the environment were great but having a place to be comfortable in was even better.

Besides the above, the place had an excellent internet connection with multiple outlets in both the bedroom and living area. Lots of small details throughout that showed a lot of thought went into providing comfort to whoever stayed there. Its appreciated.

Enjoyed the very comfortable apartment that Kim and John have made available. They were excellent hosts. We certainly would stay there again if we head this direction again.

I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

Very peaceful and nice place

Driving back from the funeral of a favorite Uncle and dealing with family drama my soul was craving peace, comfort and a respite from everything for a bit. I found that respite in this Air BnB. The river view was blissful and everything was as described, no hassle and no surprises. Here are some things that I hope the reader finds helpful. 1) You can get the keys from the back porch entrance but bring your luggage up thru the carport door or the front don't try to bring your luggage up that spiral staircase. 2) Bring any silverware you may need and a coffee stirrer 3) The device to the side of the bed IS NOT THE AC CONTROL, lol it is the sleep number bed remote. Check that both sides are set to the same setting before getting into bed. Fun fact: Another guest must have thought it would be funny to switch one side on high and the other side on low. The bed sags on one side if you do that. It was so peaceful, I loved it. She couldn't have been more sweet and delightful.

We had a wonderful stay! Close to Shenandoah NP for easy access each day. Space was perfect for us and our son. The patio was perfect for having our meals - with a great view and the sound of sheep from down the hill! Very peaceful. We are so glad we found this stay - highly recommend!

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. It was nice to be in a newer unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great being walkable to Fire and Frost, a coffee/wood fired pizza restaurant, and we prefer the upper mountain location also being walkable to golf, tennis and trails. We hope to come back to Wintergreen soon. It is a great place to relax!

Wonderful condo with amazing views. Close to hiking trails, and a restaurant right across the street. Watching the sunrise on the deck is so amazing and peaceful. Lauren is extremely responsive.

Very clean and a great place to sit back and relax after a long day out. The living room features two sliding glass doors with screens, which was perfect for the weather in early-June. That and the covered balcony was where we sat back and relaxed.

One of the rare airbnb's that looks even nicer than the pictures! Had a great stay for an overnight with the kids, we loved the neighborhood pool that the rental gave us free access to, and dinner and hikes around the resort were lots of fun.
