Holiday rentals with a kayak in Crystal River

Wonderful accomodations and the ability to kayak or paddle board over to the sanctuary within minutes was a great surprise. Already thinking about doing it again!

This home was was such a find! It sits on a point that is surrounded by seven sisters springs. The house was nostalgic and relaxing, we all felt like we were at the family cabin. It was in a very privet setting but close driving distance to good restaurants(the freezer:) and amenities. We will definitely be back, Thank you Jere and Darlene for making us feel at home.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was extremely comfortable & offered all the amenities & then some. The dock was perfect for our 25ft boat & plenty of water at low tide. We caught largemouth bass off the dock, red fish, trout, & snook out in the bay. Will definitely be back! Hopefully during Snapper season!!

We had an amazing stay at "Wasted Time!" The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. Plenty of kitchen accessories, dishes, spices, etc. Loads of linens and towels, and an air mattress. The kayaks were so convenient and we felt like having them there really saved us money in the long run. We explored the springs, jumped off rope swings and tall trees, played at the beach, and pulled up to eat at the local restaurant. The neighbors were friendly. And we had a momma and baby manatee that payed us a long visit on our last night. It was incredible! We hope to stay again!!

We loved the backyard view and was fortunate to photographing manatees off the deck. The steps down to the livingroom were steep which created a challenge.

Our stay was very comfortable. I can’t think of anything we would want that wasn’t already available to us there. Brit was a champ to ask questions and get a response. Just a lovely place to get away.

This is our second time coming to Brock’s beautiful place in the summer. The kids absolutely love being able to go out in the springs any time of the day. We love to eat at Swampys, going antique shopping, renting a boat, and most of all relaxing at this lovely home. We hope to be back next summer!

My husband and I stayed at Matt's Place and it didn't disappoint. It is exactly what he described in the details. We had our morning coffee on the pier to watch the beautiful sunrise and listen to nature waking up. Enjoyed some jacuzzi time and some BBQ. The Hammocks are a nice touch. Somehow I was under the impression it had a king or queens size bed, but the house is establish with 2 bunkbeds, which was perfectly fine and different. The location is sure "Nature pure" your are close to grocery stores and restaurants but when on the property it feels you are far away from everything. Kitchen was organized and equipped enough. We forgot charcoal but went to the local Publix to grab a bag...it was a very nice experience. Unique with the amenities Matt Offers...It was a warm welcome and easy access. This was our second time renting this place and we just love it. Location is perfect, the price has been really good each time, and there's everything one needs. The house has a great lay out, with a large open living area with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and then the bedrooms are off to the sides. The large screened in area is cozy for hanging out and keeping all your things that don't need to come in the house. There are 5 single kayaks which are great and this time we needed a double kayak as well so we rented one from Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them if one needs additional kayaks at a fair price and they deliver and pick up. Sally is a fantastic host who has always been so responsive and we will definitely be coming back for a third time :)

An absolutely wonderful stay! Planning on coming back again next year to this same AirBnb! This host had everything we could need or use and she was very helpful. Loved our stay here.

STOP SEARCHING!!! This. Place. Is. It. If it’s available book it! The Funky Flamingo is fabulous, everything about this place is perfect! Perfect location, perfect decor, perfect everything!!! We had a blast celebrating my fiancés birthday on the river! So many things to use for outdoor time, so close to the water! Plenty of places to sit! The Airbnb was so cool compared to outdoors!

This was one of my favorite vacations ever! Brian was a wonderful host! He gave us a walk through and was so kind and helpful. The house was just perfect. Clean, comfortable and you can't beat the location! Right next to Roger's Park and one of my favorite restaurants. Many ameneties, including kayaks, floats, chairs, corn hole and more! Clean linens, towels and everything you would ever need in a kitchen. This home is private with gorgeous views from the screened in back porch and deck. So much wildlife! We saw manatees, otters, birds and more! Close to stores and other shopping. We love this area and the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience! We hope to come stay here again in the near future!

It was so peaceful. Just what one needs with a fast paced life. Quiet but for the wildlife. so nice to sit looking out at the water with the birds with a cup of coffee in my hand.

What a beautiful lake house just as shown. Very cozy & decor was amazing. The view is super & the sunsets are spectacular.

Amazing time spent out on the river with the kayaks was able to use the yard to even play ladder toss with the family and Grilling and chilling nice quiet corner house was the best part. I will definitely be back. Thanks again 😀

This is a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway and exploring in nature. A highlight of the stay was seeing all the wildlife on the Chassahowitzka River! This cabin was cozy, and felt like home. We appreciated amenities like board games, the grill and kayaks (& lifevests) which made the experience seamless. Make sure you bring your own mask and snorkel to make the most of this great spot with its very own river access!!

Beautiful Location. So peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed the dock and outdoor space. Very clean and comfortable. We only enjoyed a short weekend but will definitely stay here next visit.

This is our second time staying here, my dog, boyfriend, and I love it here! We would live here if we could, haha. Leslie is so helpful and always responds quickly. If you love being in nature, this is great! Our dog loves the fenced in backyard, walking to the park by the water, and also riding on the golf cart! They have everything you need here, and more! We took our dog out on the double kayak, and it was so nice! We saw otters and lots of nature. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but a cozy place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will be back again, I am sure of that. Thank you Leslie and Richard!

Had a very relaxing and peaceful stay here for the night- wish we stayed longer! Enjoyed cooking out on the grill for dinner after kayaking down to the main river for the afternoon. Would stay again and recommend!

Very Beary Cabin provided a beautiful and relaxing break from reality. Nancy is probably the best host I have ever worked with. I spent a ton of time in the swing, on the dock listening to the birds and relaxing with the beautiful view of Crystal Lake. We would definitely return!

Cutest cabin ever! The cabin decor was a treat witin itself. Cabin was comfy with ample room for 2. Our host was fabulous and our dig received a warm welcome as well. She was always available, stayed in contact, friendly and very accommodating. She even went so far as to get us a grill, hotplate, and a pan for our stay. I wasn't sure about the location on the property as it faced the restaurant with the parking lot outside the door, but the eye for detail in the landscaping made it feel private. Although the restaurant gets busy, it was relatively quiet. This a must stay for a lovely getaway.

Experience was perfect and exactly what my husband and I needed to get some R&R and peace away from the busy city. Lots of great fishin off the dock. Bluegill, gar, bowfin,catfish, and a wee baby alligator. Friendly people nearby and good food and live music at the restaurant across the street. We will definitely return.

Very nice home, located within 20 minutes to the springs, hiking, and restaurants. We loved the seclusion, the home’s architecture, and the detached BBQ screened-in shelter. The large backyard is great for the activities they provide (cornhole, mini soccer, and tree swinging). We were there in the summer but the water level in the back was too shallow to launch the canoes but that’s no problem with tons of local kayaking options. The house is on a 12-minute drive dirt road that can be difficult to find at night. Also, the house does not have any cell reception but the house has ok WiFi speeds to stream movies and use FaceTime (voice); that’s the price to be in seclusion, peace, and nature. Check in and out were a breeze and the indoor amenities are nice. We recommend this home for a nice getaway.
