Really grateful for the opportunity to see this amazing part of nyc. I’ve typically stayed in manhattan and was missing out on a lot. This is a very vibrant neighborhood with some of the best vegetarian food i’ve had in ages. Melissa is a very experienced host and will happily and graciously take care of anything you might need.

Quiet, quaint room in Victorian Town House

My week at Sandra’s place was perfect! I didn’t know what to expect in the neighbourhood but I loved the surroundings and the vibes of the Flatbush area. Sandra and her family are very polite and welcoming, people with great energy. I had my private place to work remotely, which was quiet and peaceful. I was able to cook my meals and use the kitchen, which was ideal to keep myself on my diet. There’s a gym nearby that accepts temporary plans with no contracts (and the owner is super friendly as well). There’s also a big park a few blocks away. There are other guest rooms in the floor but honestly I did not see much of the other guest and had no problems sharing the same bathroom. The laundry place is right by the corner of the street and I was able to do my laundry easily. I will always have good memories of my stay in Brooklyn and I expect to come back to Sandra’s place in the future some day. I can only appreciate her hospitality and the kindness of the people from the region.

Had an amazing stay in Bedstuy! Amazing restaurants, coffee shops and bars within walking distance with gorgeous tree-lined streets. Very peaceful oasis compared to other places I’ve stayed at in NYC. I appreciated the flexible check-in process especially, the hosts make it very easy to drop off luggage in case of early or late flights. Given that there’s multiple people staying in this hostel-like bnb, I was also grateful for the 2nd bathroom option and I never had an issue with having to wait too long for one to free up. Highly recommend staying here and grabbing coffee from Passionfruit that’s a few blocks down ☺️

I absolutely loved my stay! Check in was straightforward and easy and the host was very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe with easy access to public transit so I had no problem getting everywhere I needed to go. I would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Tami’s place. The location is excellent – just a 5-minute walk to the subway, which made it easy to explore the city. It’s also close to a lovely park, which was great for a quick walk or some time outdoors. The private room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and very comfortable – just as described. While getting to some parts of Manhattan can take around 45 minutes by subway, it was never an issue for us. Tami was a great host – communication was smooth, and we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the apartment on the day we arrived. All in all, a perfect stay. We'd definitely come back!
