We are a twenty minute journey from Robin Hood Airport and 15 minutes from the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, a must visit for Adults & children. Nearby leisure activities include many well established and renowned fishing lake complexes.

Village Escape

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. We welcome families, couples, business people & contractor’s.

Cosy Countryside Cottage

Self contained one bedroom cottage in countryside with plenty of walks & a close village pub. Cottage offers kitchen with a fridge which has a small freezer section, dishwasher, washing machine, cooking accessories, tea & coffee, dining table & chairs for four. Living area with comfortable seating & TV. Bedroom has a king size bed, space for single bed (upon request) and space for a cot (cots not provided). Bathroom with walk in shower & separate bath. Parking available on site.

This period property has beautiful views over the large garden which often displays a beautiful sun set . You may well be treated to the church bells and deer in the garden . It is very popular for that special occasion celebration or a quiet escape, away from it all. Historic Lincoln is only a short drive away and there is also a village pub

During colder months bags of logs are available for £7 or guests are welcome to bring their own untreated/unpainted wood.

‘The Apple Chamber’ is a two-bed apartment in a delightful 16th century Grade 2 listed farmhouse, situated in the semi-rural village of Hatfield Woodhouse.   In years gone by, the Apple Chamber was the farm’s servant’s quarters as well as being used to store fruit through winter, which is where the name originates. It has now undergone an extensive refurbishment programme to provide modern self-contained accommodation with plenty of character.
