Cabin holiday rentals in Crowders Mountain

We have long been visitors to the Linville Gorge area and had a big weekend of activites planned. This house was the perfect hub spot and provided everything we needed to relax and recover in between adventures. None of us were sad about the lack of internet - unplugging was an added bonus!

My wife and I had a great stay. The place is set on a hillside, with spectacular views from both back decks. The home was cozy with tons of options for relaxation. It is very secluded and relaxing. I took my dogs for a 3 mile walk in the neighborhood with lots of uphill to build cardio for all. We didn't see one car on the road the whole time and were able to explore a bit in the unpopulated areas of the neighborhood. The amenities are just as advertised, we had everything we needed. The property is gorgeous but it is steep and a bit tricky to navigate for pets trying to find a place to run around or to go potty. We adapted fine but wanted to add this note in case someone has accessibility needs.

We have not used AirBnB many times, but this one stands out as the best experience yet! What a lovely, clean, tidy, quaint, attractive, simple, elegant, and comfortable lakeside property this is. We enjoyed cooking meals, grilling, soaking in the hot tub, sunset cocktails on the dock. Planning to return in the future for another stay!

Plenty of space for my crew and had everything we needed to cook every night. We will definitely look into booking again when we are close by working again

Wow where do we start, the cabin was absolutely perfect and had anything you could think of from zip lock bags to beach towels and then there is the amazing surroundings of nature including little chickadee birds and frisky squirrels hopping from tree to tree there was so much to do within a short drive like mesmerizing waterfalls and breath taking views from the grandfather mountain !! If you want the best sleep of your life the king size bed will take you to heaven for the night and of course Shannon the host was extremely helpful with suggestion on where to go and what to see so hands down the best place we have stayed

Nicole's place is very quiet, peaceful and serene. Neighbors we nice and friendly. We felt right at home. Plenty of things to keep kids busy.

James and Jane were amazing. They made sure we were up to date with the area, have local restaurants near the home. Also had access to the river. They were nice and helpful and they have a lovely home.

We had a great stay here for the last couple of nights, if back in the area we would definitely stay again!

We found this property so well appointed with all of the necessary items we might have lacked. Because of its location and the possibility of being stranded due to in-climate weather, Jason has stocked many items of which a person might need in the event they didn’t bring enough supplies for a few days. We looked at the food items that are stored as being a backup in the event we were stranded for a few days. Fortunately, for us, we over supply ourselves because other properties we have utilized were completely less supplied. We found that all the bases were covered for food, spices, dishes, snacks, as well as things like the barbecue grill and outdoor fire pit. We were very impressed with how the house was supplied and set up for a renter. It was almost like we walked into our own home with supplies existing. We were glad to have this wonderful experience, and would consider it in the future again.

This was place was just something else! The surroundings were astounding, and the home was very spacious. Not only that but you even get to be with a cat in there, the most gentle and calm cat I have ever met. I would absolutely recommend this house and would love to come back.

Their local recommendations were spot on, and it was clear they put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. If you’re looking for a serene escape with top-notch hospitality, this chalet is a fantastic choice. I will absolutely return.

What a great place. Cabin was easy to find on a very quiet road. It was a very peaceful and relaxing location. The creek is beautiful. Jacob was quick to respond to any questions and he was very helpful and informative. I’m looking for to staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private A-frame cabin! Tucked away in a serene setting, it was the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Our pups felt right at home and loved exploring the quiet surroundings. We truly appreciated the privacy and calm atmosphere, and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with their furry companion!

We loved our stay at the cabin! We didn’t want to leave. The deck is a beautiful spot for morning yoga. Dog friendly was a huge plus. I hope to stay again when I’m in Granite Falls.

Great house, great communication with Nick & Emily! The community is gated which was a plus. The house is way up the mountain so prepare for winding roads - but worth the drive!

This cabin was surprisingly tucked away in a pine grove. The seclusion and unique setting make this a spot I’d love to come back to! Next time, I’ll bring the golf bag…

I recently stayed at a cozy cabin retreat in the woods, and it was exactly what I needed. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, which made settling in a breeze. I loved how quiet it was—perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the best parts was its location. It was just a short drive to some fantastic restaurants and shops, so we could easily explore the area without any hassle. After a day out, it was nice to come back to such a peaceful environment. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. It felt like a true retreat, and I can’t wait to go back!

We had the best time! Everything was amazing, we brought our boat the ramp was close by which made it very easy to get to the dock. The home was amazing there was space for everyone, the view is breathtaking! The host was very accommodating and responsive. We were able to swim, kayak and fish right off the dock. The beds were very comfortable, the space was organized and clean, they had everything you need to cook and have a great time. Master bath was so luxurious great way to unwind and relax. We have amazing memories around the fire with enough seating for the whole family. Upper deck was by far my favorite spot enjoyed meals with the family and coffee in the mornings overlooking the lake (breath taking view) I hope to return soon!

We needed a place to stay that would accommodate five adults and a large dog while our house was being renovated. This home was clean, well-stocked, spacious, comfortable, and as described. It had everything we needed and more. We loved playing ping pong and foosball. The neighborhood was quiet. Mike was very responsive and answered my questions within minutes. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Charlotte area.

Love, love, love Natalie’s place! Just the rural spot we needed for a last minute trip. She even accommodated to our arrival time! Do your research, however, unlike I did… the loud Harris speedway is on Saturday nights 😂 Really enjoyed our stay anyway.

Stayed here with members of our bridal party! Deck and fire pit were a great touch, inside and outside of the house were so beautiful and kept up with super well. Construction was on the dock but Glenn communicated ahead of time to let us know!!! Beautiful space, and we had a wonderful time!!! Would stay here again.

Very fun decor, like being in an antique shop! Great kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Fenced in yard! On the grounds of a working farm and petting zoo which was fun to see! Not toddler friendly. There is a lot of antique style decor at low levels, definitely not child proof. But wonderful for adults or older kids!

Bretta’s place was exactly what we were looking for! Peaceful, clean, comfortable. She has gone out of her way to ensure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need. If you’re coming to Salisbury and her place is available, I highly recommend it!

This is a great location if you are going for Lake Norman. There is great boat parking and is close to restaurants and grocery. Highly recommend
