The Old Library: a spacious village centre flat.

AnnieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank you John & Elena for a perfect stay. We were in Painswick for a wedding and the accomodation was the perfect base for an amazing weekend. The house was immaculate, with lots of space. We had a dog and baby with us and they provided everything we could need. The information provided was perfect, check in stress free and we even got to check in early. The house was in a perfect location to walk to everything in the village. We'd love to return back and stay again.

Slad - lovely rural views

MaxRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Cathy and Robin are fantastic hosts - friendly, generous and welcoming - so it was wonderful to be back in their beautiful home in scenic Slad after a three-year break. We had another peaceful, relaxing stay (and enjoyable meal at The Woolpack). It's such a pleasure to wake up to that amazing view across the valley but we're always so sad to leave. We look forward to our next visit.

Cosy Cotswold Cottage

RuthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage is part of a very pretty hamlet with lots of other Grade II listed properties, appealing to anyone who is interested in history and/or picturesque country locations. It was lovely to meet Freddie, Isabel's mum, and good to know she was nearby if we needed any local expertise. We loved the interesting art collection displayed around the house. The bed was super comfortable, and the log fire is a real bonus! All in all, a very relaxing stay with plenty of interesting things to do nearby.

Shepherd's Cabin amongst the trees

LiliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin was absolutely perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. The lack of electricity was honestly one of the best parts—it gave us a real chance to unplug, slow down, and just be. Between the cozy candlelights, the bathtub, and evenings by the campfire, it was such a magical experience. The bed was super comfortable, and waking up to those huge windows looking out onto nature was just incredible. The heater also made a big difference and kept us warm throughout our stay. Sarah was such a lovely and responsive host—always quick to answer any questions we had. If we had a couple of small suggestions to make it even better: clearing out cobwebs and dust in the cabin, a few more board games or local activity suggestions would be great, and having fire logs available to buy directly from the host would make things easier for future guests. Overall, such an amazing and unique stay, would highly recommend!

Finest Retreats - Courtside Cottage

JanineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely little one up one down cottage with bedroom and bathroom in the eaves. Parking in a shared courtyard at the front of the property. Great location with lovely pubs, walks and corner shop within easy distance. Right beside the church and the clock tower which are very beautiful but in full working order which might be worth knowing if bells chiming every 15 minutes might keep you awake. Lovely bath but as other review need full mobility to climb into and the showers above the bath so can’t separate. Lots of hot water 24/7. Lovely bed and bed linen but again just worth noting it’s a double bed which as a “ tall” couple was a bit challenging. We had perfect weather and the cottage and surroundings could not have been more beautiful.
