Dark Sky Lodge

MarcoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Magical location for a nature immerse retreat in southern Wales. The cabin sits in the (massive) back-garden of the hosts who were helpful and loved to chat and suggests places to go/activities. Perfect place for a family up to four people with plenty of outdoor space and trails nearby. Driving can be challenging to move around especially in bad weather as most roads are single lanes with sharp turns. Closest grocery (Aldi and Morrisons) are half hour drive away so don’t forget anything before you get to the cabin!

Andrew's place is a real gem, and a piece of art. I didn't want to leave! Cosy cabin, which has been exceptionally well designed and in a beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Would love to come back

Auld Ffynnon, Trecastle, Brecon Beacons.

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Venetia and her husband were great hosts, left us alone for the week but always ready to give advise and provided a map to help with our navigation. On arrival to the lovely accommodation which was immaculate, local biscuits and cake were waiting for us and every thing was provided to make our stay comfortable. The weather wasn't great but we managed to get out and about visiting, Brecon the four waterfalls, Red Kites and a Nature Reserve to name a few. This was our first visit to the Brecon Beacons, having been to most areas in Wales and we loved it, with lots of places to visit either walking or driving and lots of eating places. Overall this was a great stay and we shall return. Thank you Venetia for helping to make this a lovely Holiday. Chris and Lorraine

Bwthyn y Bannau

JessicaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed in Bwthyn y Bannau as 6 adults, 3 kids and a dog, getting together to catch up and enjoy the surroundings. We had a really lovely time there. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable, with gorgeous views all around. It had everything we needed, and when we found we were missing a tin opener one night they responded straight away. The kitchen dining area was perfect for busy bustling mealtimes with plenty of space for preparing meals and enjoying them together. The location was great, walks straight from the door, loads of things to do and visit nearby, and the bonus was being there during lambing and getting to visit the lambs in the barns on the farm with the children. We all had such a great time and are already planning our next trip. Thanks so much!

The location was perfect: quiet, surrounded by nature, and just a short drive from stunning walks and waterfalls. We particularly enjoyed hiking Pen y Fan. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break.

Luxury Seafront Rental New Quay

RowenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thank you to Kyra and her family for the most wonderful stay in this idyllic cottage. Location is perfect and unique, right at the start of a pier so couldn’t get any closer to the sea with a beach either side. We could just walk out to local shops which was really convenient. The what3words location provided was really helpful for finding the property. Managed to unload the car just outside the property and then move it to a car park just a few minutes walk away for £7/day. There was a great place to buy groceries just opposite that also sold meals ready to cook. Kyra’s place is spotless and beautifully finished and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like milk etc. We are a family of 4 with a 3 year old and 14month old. Our kids loved the games in the cottage and chilling on the balcony/ on the outside terrace which was safely enclosed. The views are outstanding from all over the property and we saw plenty of dolphins and even a seal from the comfort of the living room.
