My name is Marianna, I'm 42 years old and I live in Sicily. Luigi Pirandello said that those born "here", surrounded by the "immense and jealous sea", are born an island within an island, complete in themselves. And who could argue with that? This is a place where you can find any kind of treasure and richness. The landscape is varied and colorful like a mosaic, whose nuances are to be grasped in the different aspects to explore and from which to be enraptured: the blue and crystalline sea; the hills covered with olive trees and vineyards; the fertile plains dominated by orange and lemon gardens; and the colossus Etna, the Etna volcano with its spectacular eruptions. A land characterized by the charm of discovering a great past among Phoenician, Greek, Arab, and Norman remains; rich in monuments, churches, palaces, villas, and gardens. I was lucky enough to inherit a lovely place to spend the summer holidays from my mother's aunts (Elia and Vera) and from there, the decision to share this enormous fortune with travelers interested in staying there. The Vacation Homes are located in Augusta, in the province of Syracuse, in a very beautiful and suggestive area, called “Costa Pergola” characterized by the presence of more or less high and jagged coasts enriched by the presence of caves obtained from the slow but stubborn work of marine abrasion. Its seabed is very suitable for snorkeling experiences and boat trips. For those who have no problem getting up early in the morning, the sunrise from the waters is an experience not to be missed, as is the romantic sunset! “Suite Vera” and “Suite Elia” are two 50 sqm houses with veranda and pergola with direct access to a swimming pool overlooking the sea. Furnished in Mediterranean style with relaxed and fresh nuances typical of the marine-coastal landscape: white, beige, light blue, turquoise, ultramarine blue and coral red. Embellished with lanterns, shells, rope nets, wooden details and details that recall navigation. Suite Vera, with a retro marine atmosphere, consists of: a living area, 2 bedrooms (one double and one bedroom with two single beds that can be joined together if necessary) and a bathroom with shower. The living room is characterized by soft colors and a more romantic soul, a baroque living room repainted white in a shabby style and a kitchen designed as its element of continuity, equipped with utensils for preparing and cooking food. The room is equipped with an LCD TV and the entire property is covered by WiFi. The two bedrooms are comfortable and functional with large closets, dressers and air conditioning. The master bedroom with the most poetic charm is the result of a loving and imaginative restyling of the furniture. The adjacent bedroom has a more jovial tone and was designed with the theme of vacation, travel and relaxation in mind. The bathroom with shower also reflects the spirit of the house with nice decorative elements that are strictly marine. Suite Elia has a more "seafaring" soul than coastal and a lighter mood; the visual impact and decor are more lively and the color palette is very simple: white and blue, with touches of coral red. It also tells a "story" made up of references to the archetypes of the marine world: fish, lighthouses and many other elements wrapped in a magical aura, a memory of pleasant moments Suite Elia is also a 50 sqm room, with a living area and kitchen, equipped with every comfort. Wi-Fi covers the entire property. The master bedroom is comfortable and functional in shades of navy blue and light blue. The adjacent room includes two single beds, which can be joined together if necessary, and is inspired by the theme of "fishing". Even the bathroom, with shower and large mirror, has been furnished giving it a pleasant taste of the sea! The verandas outside the houses overlook the pool and the latter overlooks the coast. The "sea view" is a beautiful and indisputable therapy for good spirits! The area adjacent to the pool is furnished with sun loungers, umbrellas and comfortable lounges to make our guests' stay comfortable even with tastings of typical products of our land. You may wonder… Because it occupies a strategic position among the most beautiful and evocative cities of Eastern Sicily, allowing you to reach the most evocative, characteristic sites in a short time: Taormina, Catania, Modica, Noto, Ragusa, Scicli, Ortigia and Syracuse; as well as the most beautiful beaches: Vendicari, Calamosche, San Lorenzo, Marzamemi and Avola.
