Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cowlitz River

We would have given this beautiful home a ten!! Well appointed and a beautiful location. We had everything and more that we needed, I believe this is the nicest air bnb that we have stayed at!!

Such a treat to stay at Gail’s lovely guest house. My pal and I both felt like we were staying with a family friend. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. I’ll be back! Thanks Gail!

This home was so peaceful and welcoming!. The sound from the waterfalls was just magical! The pictures did not do it justice. The kitchen was stocked with great cookware and sharp knives. Hard to find that at most bnb’s. Every one of us said multiple times that this was the best place we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being a great host, Foster!

Truly a little slice of paradise! Our family and pups enjoyed every second of our stay. We spent the day by the river, cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen, relaxed in the hot tub, and enjoyed the property and views. Cute town and friendly hosts! Highly recommend!

The cabin was just what we wanted. Beautifully surrounded by the forest with gorgeous views of the river and plenty to explore. We enjoyed the easy fireplace, walked in the river just steps away, and hiked the multiple water falls just down the road. Kitchen had everything we needed for specially planned meals and the place was comfy in each room.

Lovely and cute cabin. Check in/out instructions were clear & easy to follow. Host was organized and good about reaching out with needed info. Hot tub and place were clean, kitchen was well stocked with cookware. It's not quite as private as I thought it would be, but still very serene. A variety of birds and deer came to visit while we were there. Overall very good experience, I would for sure book with Betsy's Cabins again!

The view here is gorgeous and the decor inside is beautiful. This place is probably best for 2 couples with kids. We were 10 adults so it was a bit tight. The bunk room was adorable for kids but the top bunk was not as functional for an adult. We brought a cot so 2 people could still sleep in there. The kitchen is very well appointed. We loved our time here!

It is a beautiful, relaxing, peaceful vacation. Everything was fully stocked. So many towels and robes for the hot tub and the restrooms nothing bad I can say.

SO. MANY. STAIRS. 😂😂 be prepared to climb so many stairs to get to the upper unit. BUT WELL WORTH IT!! Just be prepared to take a few trips if you have a lot of bags or heavy stuff. The stairs definitely made us get our steps in hahaha. The host was extremely responsive and even let us check in about 30 mins early because we happened to get into town so close to check in. The bed was super comfortable! The couch was so comfy too for a nice yap about it. GIGANTIC SMART TV in the living room. My friend and I kept saying “this tv is freaking huge” every 10 mins hahahaha. Great space, love the sky lights, the patio was cute. Would book again!

We actually booked Joe's place after our original place was too warm for sleeping. He was quick to respond, let us check in early and his place was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. 10/10.

This was my fourth time staying here. Fireplace Flat feels like home to me now as it is located 2/10 of a mile from my daughter’s house that she was renting while attending the University of Portland. I feel safe and comfortable at Fireplace Flat even traveling alone and I have a routine when I stay there.

Very nice and located beautifully for our visit. Communication excellent. Kitchen a little small but efficient and fine for 2 people.

It was so nice not to deal with all the traffic and parking hassle at the concert we went to. We took an Uber and the drive was less than 10 minutes away. No parking hassles and enjoyed our show. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Rip

What a serene place in a beautiful spot! We felt home right away, and if there weren't as many things to do in the area, we might have hung out more at the place, just because ... It's a gorgeous private little Island of Heaven, overlooking the river in the middle of nature. Whether you hang out inside or on the patio, you're at home. Whomever looks to escape the daily hamster wheel, that's the place to be. Hope to be back some time ...

The location was great, parking was always easy and close by. Loved the neighborhood and the unit itself. The place was super clean and the abundant bathroom counter space was a highlight. Would recommend this airbnb!

We had a fantastic stay! Great location and a well appointed stay!

My family and I just stayed in the Villa as a special treat for our getaway. We loved how much room there was and the amazing windows. We really enjoyed hanging out on the huge deck by the firepit, the fall weather was perfect for this. Nice kitchen with all that we needed, we could have stayed for days. It was separated from the main hotel with a private entrance gate, and we liked that, nice easy walk or drive. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful. We hope to go back for a longer stay.

Great plaice to stay for the bi annual thrift event! Close to the event and everything else. Super clean and super quite right off a beautiful mountain road.

This was by far the best Air B&B we've stayed at. We got in just before the summer prices hit which was even better. The pool (and hot tub)is heated and NOT chlorinated (must be salt water) that is super important for some of us. PLENTY of space to not be on top of eachother. 🗝 One thing you want to keep in mind, there are spices, but no condiments whatsoever.
