Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cowichan Valley

We were really happy with David’s guest suite. It was exactly as shown in the pictures, and check in/check out were very easy. There wasn’t a microwave, but the stove/oven makes up for it. We appreciated how compact and tidy everything was, and I found the bed very comfortable. We were happy with our 12 day stay here, and would gladly stay here again when we come back to the area.

A great place to relax and rest. the view from the patio over the harbour is so peaceful. The inside space is large and airy. the kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. we would come back again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

What a lovely place to stay!! I almost didnt want to write this review because (selfishly) I don't want more people finding out about this amazing getaway spot! 600m walk to a private beach with dock access.. View of the lake from the backyard.. What more can you ask for. Would 100% stay here again!

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.

The Lakehouse was beautiful and very peaceful. The house is spacious and comfortable with a terrific view! We really enjoyed having access to the paddle boards and kayak and had a wonderful time on Shawnigan Lake.

Our international artists appreciate having clean, comfortable surroundings when they travel, and a place where they can relax off-site from our music festival. They were effusive in their prisse of such nice accommodation. Life can be hard for a touring artists. We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

We’ve stayed at the Inn Of the Sea many time and been lucky to stay at both of Tammy’s condos. We come and go from the area all the time for work and it’s hard to go back to a hotel after discovering the condos.

Our family of 8 felt right at home. Everyone having a king bed was very helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Sean answered back any inquiries quite quickly. We highly recommend Sean’s place.

Really enjoyed are stay at Inn of the Sea! I wanted something right on the water, and this condo delivered! It’s so lovely to fall asleep with the sounds of the waves lapping at the shore. The condo was exactly what we needed, full kitchen with everything we needed, bbq’s available, pool & hot tub. Most of all, the views were fantastic! We saw wildlife everywhere, water views, beautiful sunsets. The only drawback is you do need a car as it’s in a remote location. But the trade off is lots of peace and quiet!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, quirky home. We had lots of space to come together and our own little nooks to retreat for some quiet time. The kids loved learning to swim in the pool. We all enjoyed exploring the property which is full of little discoveries and surprises to delight. Waking up to birdsong was so lovely. It's close to beaches (drive or bike) and trails (walkable). We are already planning our next visit. Thank you for your hospitality.

Derek’s place was very clean and cozy. It was very welcoming and we felt like home when we stayed at his place. My family were very comfortable while staying there and Derek was also easy to communicate wiith. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Jamie was fantastic, so kind and welcoming. The place is very beautiful with a view that we never tired of. The setting was perfect for us as we wanted peace, quiet, and relaxation. We felt so lucky to stay here in such a wonderful setting in a place with everything we needed to stay in, relax and recharge after a intense surf sesh in Tofino! There is no mobile phone service as the listing states but high speed internet met our needs just fine. We would love to stay again. Thank you to these two fantastic hosts and for the opportunity to stay here.

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!

It was a perfect stay. Exactly as described, a super cute hut located on their family farm. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals at home. Julia was so lovely. Super friendly and available, but always respected our privacy. Great location, you are close to amenities yet it felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. Great location if you want easy access to Shawnigan lake, cobble hill, mill bay, Duncan, Chemanis, Ladysmith. Would definitely stay here again.

lovely little place. comfortable and quaint and nice and close to Ganges so you don't have to find parking in town. really enjoyed the Sauna as well. Overall just a great time spent here :)

My mom and I had a wonderful stay at Rhona & Sean’s house. They were great hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was exactly as described and we’d happily stay there again.

My partner and I have spent 8 days at Connie and Douglas's accommodation, and there are no words to describe our super pleasant experience. It exceeded our expectations. The location is exceptional, the apartment is spacious and Connie has put details in it that make you feel at home. Moments in the private garden, surrounded by nature, are priceless. Baths in the jacuzzi with views of the forest, at sunrise and at night are an extra to take into account. But the most remarkable thing has been the extreme kindness of Connie and Douglas, always attentive, but without being intrusive, they responded to any need instantly. In addition, they treated us to snacks and delicious BC salmon. And coffee available all week. We also had a pleasant time chatting and drinking beers with them. They are great hosts and great people! We recommend them 100%, and hopefully we'll see each other again. We already miss the beauty, peace, and gratitude of the place and its owners.

Great stay.! Had a kids ball tournament all weekend and it was perfect. Great location to fields and tons of amenities in the area. Walkable to all.

Our stay at Ron’s place was great. It was neat and tidy, practice and peaceful. We would have loved to stay longer and hope to be back in the future. Definitely worth a visit here if you get the opportunity

Such a great place to stay! Located in a smaller town, worth the price and lots of fun outdoor activities. Karli is attentive and accommodating-would definitely recommend staying here.
