Great spot , beautiful house and awesome view of the lake

Hattie's place was way better than staying at a hotel and was wonderfully surprised by how spacious and well maintained it was. The decor was simple and elegant. Thank you so much Hattie. Wish we had more time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Absolutely wonderful stay. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay an additional week (from the original 28 day stay). Cute lower-level suite with all the right touches. The host family is absolutely wonderful (Wanda and Warren). They had me feeling right at home (away from home) with exceptional hospitality. The property is private and inviting for any sports or nature enthusiasts. A stones-throw from nature hikes, the recreation centre, and downtown Sidney. I highly recommend and will be staying again!

I’ve stayed at several wonderful Air BnBs all over the country, but this one is my very favorite—a real gem, and with the kindest, most helpful hosts you could ever hope to find. The guest suite itself is clean, cozy, very comfortable, roomy, private, quiet, and incredibly well-stocked with lots of extra towels and wash cloths, everything you need to prepare and clean up after meals, and even has its own washer and dryer. And the view from the living & bedroom room windows is just beautiful. It’s also very close to a lovely outdoor shopping mall — Broadmead Village, with a variety of shops and several good cafes, and there are many terrific hiking and walking trails nearby. I’ve never felt this at home so far away from home, and really hated to leave. Five stars are not enough!

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was quaint and charming with a gorgeous view, and the bidet was a nice touch-definitely a highlight! The neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. Our host was attentive and welcoming, and having parking included made things so easy. We felt very comfortable and at home throughout our stay. Would happily stay again-thank you!

We had such a lovely stay at Dal’s place! The king sized bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The shower had great water pressure, which is always a plus, and the whole suite was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The outdoor seating area was a definite highlight. We spent time enjoying the sunshine while watching deer graze nearby, with a charming peek-a-boo view of the ocean in the distance — so peaceful and serene. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. It’s just a short walk to the Saturday market and local shops, yet far enough away that it still feels quiet and private. We felt extremely safe the entire time, which made it all the more relaxing. Dal was also a good host, offering helpful local recommendations that we really appreciated. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Colleen’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Colleen was incredibly friendly and offered great advice on local spots and things to do. The kitchen was stocked with fresh fruits, eggs, sweets, and delicious cookies, which made us feel right at home. All daily and primary needs were thoughtfully provided for. The space itself was beautifully decorated with charming, personal touches that made our stay extra special. On our last day, Colleen even invited us to have tea at home, which was such a kind gesture—unfortunately, we had to leave early and couldn’t join, but we truly appreciated the invitation. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would love to return and stay with Colleen and Allen again in the future!

We have stayed at Daniel's place several times and each time, the suite has been perfect for family's needs. The place is squeaky clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, the laundry facilities were very useful for us, and Daniel is a very friendly, accommodating, and responsive host. We would highly recommend Daniel's suite.

Linda and Albert were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and respectful. The unit was utterly perfect - stunning view, very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Gorgeous garden and lots of walking trails within easy access of the property. We loved our stay here, and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely lovely in every way!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Beautiful location, relaxing to the sounds of the ocean

What a beautiful place! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the view was incredible and it was so relaxing. The queen bed was comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t great. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Jason and Andrea were easy to get ahold of when I had any questions. The area where the unit is was clean, the park was fun for my girls to play at and the hot tub was lovely! I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a great stay!

Such a Beautiful peaceful location. With Spectacular views!! Any closer to the beach you would be right on it! Super quiet, the pool was great & temperature was perfect! Best of all the walks on the beach!! Highly recommend!!!!!♥️
