Holiday rentals with lake access in Cova

We really enjoyed the spectacular views, the amazing terrace and the fun pool. BBQ area was a real plus and all the amenities were adequate for our party of six. Joao was a very friendly and responsive host. The main bedroom was large but the other bedrooms and communal areas were small with limited soundproofing. The location was beautifully private but the noises from the town and river could be loud.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Antonio! Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Ort inmitten schöner Natur – perfekt zum Abschalten. Alles war sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet, mit einem praktischen Anbau inklusive eigenem Bad. Das WLAN war stabil und schnell. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die freundliche Art von Antonio per Telefon und des Vaters vor Ort – er war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat uns sogar schnell geholfen, als es durch das Wetter einen kurzen Stromausfall gab. Eine klare Empfehlung!

O Diogo foi um anfitrião exemplar: sempre disponível, atencioso e genuinamente preocupado com o nosso bem-estar. A sua simpatia tornou a experiência ainda mais especial. O espaço é simplesmente deslumbrante, perfeito para descansar a mente e recarregar a alma. E como se não bastasse a natureza envolvente e a tranquilidade do lugar, tivemos visitas encantadoras: uns gatinhos adoráveis que apareceram de forma inesperada e conquistaram imediatamente os nossos corações. Foram uma mais-valia doce e carinhosa, que deu ainda mais vida à nossa estadia. Recomendamos de olhos fechados — e com o coração cheio.

Adoramos a nossa estadia! A casa estava impecavelmente limpa e confortável para nos receber. A Cristina e o seu marido foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos! O espaço exterior é excelente para aproveitar momentos em família, assim como a vista da cozinha/sala, todos os dias jantamos com vista para o pôr do sol. A casa fica muito perto de supermercados, restaurantes e até da praia e dos passadiços. Gostamos muito!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Eusébio. Der wunderschöne Garten mit Pool ist super zum entspannen. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Fluss, der am Anwesen vorbeifließt. Hier kann man mit dem Tretboot oder Standup paddle-Board fahren (kann man sich vor Ort ausleihen). Eusébio ist seh nett und hilfsbereit!

Dette stedet er ett eventyr!! Bildene er flotte av stedet men de yter ikke rettferdighet til denne utrolige eiendommen. Huset er kjempestort, med ett flott uteområde som er delt opp med masse forskjellige turgrupper, det er ett nydelig bassengområde, og mange steder man kan slenge seg ned i skyggen. Det er ett stort utvalg av fugler over store deler av eiendommen, for oss fra Norge var det flere ukjente arter, og påfuglene ble veldig godt kjent med. Fem store flotte fugler gikk løs, og kom gjerne bortom hvis du hadde en brødbit og avse. Hundene var utrolig koselige, tre forskjellige men vennligheten selv alle sammen. To katter var det også, og utallige fugler i store bur, som man bare ser i dyrehager. Mannen i huset er kunstner og har satt sitt eiendommelige preg på både hus og hage, med sine finurlige kunst installasjoner, gjerne med dyr og fugler som tema. Anbefales altså sååå på det varmeste. Må oppleves for å forstå hvor unikt denne eiendommen er.

A Fernanda foi super simpática e sempre disponível, o que tornou nossa estadia muito tranquila. A casa m é aconchegante e perfeito para relaxar em família. Recomendo para quem busca um espaço confortável para descansar e passar bons momentos juntos!

We absolutely loved our stay at Isabel's apartment in Porto! The location was perfect—right in the heart of Ribeira, just steps away from the Douro River, iconic bridges, and charming cafes. Waking up to the view of colorful houses and the river was unforgettable. The apartment itself was spotless, stylish, and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay—fast Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, and even some local treats waiting for us (thank you, Isabel!). The bed was super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure (a big plus after long days of exploring). Isabel was the perfect host—responsive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She gave us insider tips on the best pastel de nata spots, hidden miradouros (viewpoints), and even a fantastic fado bar that wasn’t touristy. If you’re visiting Porto and want an authentic, central, and delightful place to stay, don’t hesitate—book Isabel’s apartment! We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you

This was a nice place on a quiet street. It had a comfortable bed and everything we needed in the studio apartment. The restaurants in the area were delicious. If you want to be a little bit away from the Porto downtown this is a great option. We had a vehicle and were able to drive over to Porto in 20 minutes. This place is made up of more local people and culture. It was quiet and beautiful. Only 1 minute walk from the water.

O lugar é lindo, total contato com a natureza, com uma energia incrível. Fácil de chegar, fomos recepcionadas e atendidas com total profissionalismo e dedicação. Existe instruções dos arredores, restaurantes e o que fazer. O espaço de Mônica é encantador, limpo, incrível. Ela foi super atenciosa conosco em todos os momentos. Estar ali um momento de reconexão e descanso, foi muito bom mesmo e super indico a todos. Voltaremos com toda certeza. Obrigada

We really enjoyed this stay in Porto. The location was fantastic and the host was great. Would highly recommend this home for any visitors to the beautiful city of Porto.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. die Unterkunft ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Der Austausch mit den Gastgebern war immer sehr nett und hilfreich. Ich würde die Unterkunft wieder besuchen.

L'appartement est idéalement placé pour visiter Porto. Son style authentique et chaleureux nous a conquis. Il était très propre et confortable, très bien equipé pour le temps des vacances. Accès rapide de l'aéroport en métro: un changement à Trindade et arrêt à 100 m du logement. Accueil chaleureux de Sonia, et de nombreuses informations touristiques communiquées dès l'arrivée et complétées par la suite. Je vous conseille la visite de la cave Ferreira avec le tour des 6 ponts en bateau, flaner dans le centre historique, et la balade en tramway jusque la mer. La vue est magnifique sur le Douro d'un côté de l'appartement et l'ambiance du parc est très festive de l'autre côté (la musique s'arrête de bonne heure, nous n'avons pas du tout été gênés.) Les commerces à proximité (100m) et les restaurants (Gaia à 400 m et Ribeiria à 400m) sont à des prix très abordables! Je le conseillerai à mes amis. Merci pour tout

O apartamento estava impecável. A localização era bastante boa. O check-in é bastante flexível. A Sra. Luísa é super simpática e atenciosa, deu-nos algumas informações sobre o que fazer nas redondezas. Com certeza se voltar ao Gerês irei repetir a estadia.

Ganz besonderer Ort direkt am Douro. Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Pool, Liegen und Garten mit Obstbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

Local ideal para passar um fim de semana em família e com amigos.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.

Passamos um fim de semana muito agradável no alojamento de Gui, o espaço era tal como nas fotos e bem em contacto com a natureza. :) De realçar também a gentileza do black que diariamente nos vinha cumprimentar :)

We loved our stay so much that we didn’t use our car to go anywhere. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the river and walking to the village. We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sound of the river and we wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you Júlio and Patricia for being such thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

Paulo realmente tiene una estancia muy acogedora con unas vistas espectaculares y una ubicación privilegiada. Nuestra estancia fue buenisima, es una casa perfecta para pasar unos dias relajados entre amigos y familia con muy buenos accesos a una zona que realmente, merece la pena visitar.
