A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was. The unit is adorable and so unique. We loved the setting- the vineyards, the birds. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The sunset was glorious. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. There is only one air conditioner in one bedroom, which in conjunction with a fan did a reasonable job of keeping the house cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is fine for light cooking.

From arrival at Luis place I felt at home and in the company of a wonderful host. Luis contacted me daily to make sure everything was OK and provided recommendations for activities and places to visit. I enjoyed the pedestrian zone, the parks, the bookstore the riverside and churches all on waking distance from the apartment. I was pleased to meet his daughter Teresa who make me feel more like part of a family. I will always remember Luis kindness and charm. Thanks also for helping me get a taxi for my early ride to the airport. I will definitely book your beautiful place again on my next trip to Porto.

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

We had a wonderful stay at the Manor House in Porto! The highlight was definitely the terrace — we spent every evening out there enjoying the stunning views across the river. It was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the city. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a scenic and peaceful stay in Porto.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

Ideal place to relax and contemplate nature.

The location was first class with stunning views. The location was about 20 minutes from the nearest restaurants and supermatkets.

great location and a beautiful house, even more beautiful than in the photos. everything was very clean and they were very friendly. Upon arrival, a delicious snack was ready, super sweet. Our 4-year-old daughter couldn't be dragged away from the pool, she loves it. And what a view, that's what waking up is all about. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

Very nice and cozy space. A perfect place for those looking to rest from the daily grind. The Serra da Cabreira as a backdrop and the sound of nature add the touch for perfect relaxation. We loved the pool, and despite the rain forecast, we were lucky to always have good weather. Raquel and Miguel were great hosts, who made us feel comfortable for any questions and we also thank you for the tips that were given.

Great house for a few quiet days with a group of friends!

I spent one night at the home of Filomena with three friends and it was amazing. It has a double bed and a large sofa bed (without separation, it is ideal for groups of friends or families), kitchen equipped with hob and all utensils, barbecue, and the best part of all - the pool! It is a great pool and it was exclusive to us, with lots of privacy, lawn with loungers, a treat. Filomena was very considerate and the husband Francisco who received us as well. It was a memorable experience and I recommend 100%.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Miguel’s place. The property is even more beautiful than the photos. We stayed with our three kids (aged 4,7 & 10) and they loved the place. The pool was large and with stunning views of the river. There is so many areas to explore, like the well positioned hammocks to relax in, which my two older kids happily sat in reading together. There is an open area with a football goal which my kids loved. You then follow a path further down and you can find the SUPs and kayak, then the entry to the river, which we all made use of everyday. The kids also enjoyed going fishing with daddy in the evenings and we defiantly made use of the BBQ and outdoor dinning for all our meals as well. We couldn’t hear a sound was so peaceful. Miguel provided a list of tips and places to eat before we arrived, and also left some treats for the kids and us. He was very responsive when I had questions too. Voted by kids the best holiday this so far! Can’t wait to return.

Few words reflect how good our stay at Iris D'Arga was. João and Astrid are lovely hosts who make you feel at home from the start. The house is beautiful and well decorated and equipped, even inspiring. The pool is great for spending great summer afternoons. And Serra D'Arga is magnificent. For those who like trails, biking, waterfalls, fauna, etc., I recommend it 200%. If you don't like any of that, the recommendation is the same because there is no shortage of things to do around Covas. In short, super recommended and we still came away with a great memory of wood from such a wise workshop with João.
