Beachfront holiday rentals in County Sligo

We had a fab time in Mullaghmore in Des’s place. Stunning views of the beach and Benbulben, 2 min drive to the beach, very well kept house, cosy and the fire was perfect when it was raining. Great den room for the kids to hang out, spacious garden. We appreciated the chocolates and Prosecco on arrival. Half hour from Sligo and 15 mins from Bundoran. Des provided plenty of info and was very quick with responses to queries. Would highly recommend and will be back!

For at least the past 10 years, my family and I have stayed in west coast pet friendly cottages with our cocker spaniel, from Donegal to Kerry. Ann's cottage near Yellow Strand is definitely the best one. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated with top quality kitchen appliances etc - the term "home from home" is probably overused, but in this case it is 100% accurate. Setting is wonderful - peaceful isolation 50m from a long sandy beach and a short distance from the N15 so Donegal and Mayo coastlines are within easy reach as well as Sligo for an endless variety of places to walk/swim/ water sports etc. Ann, and Claire (the lady who looks after the property) are complete stars - so friendly and efficient. I had to cancel the booking at very short notice due to a bereavement last year and Ann treated us with incredible kindness - something I'll never forget. We're so glad we rebooked - I generally don't leave reviews but this booking was genuinely exceptional - Thank you Ann!

Just like described, nice and cosy place. Few restaurants, shops and surf schools there. Restaurants closed for the low season but two of them is always open. Was wierd to put the heating on so that would be the only thing for us that it was a little cold and hard to get the heating system to work. Anyways a super place if you go to surf and chill, we had a super time there:)

Our second time staying here, with my parents, my two year old and 10month old it is very easy to get around. Tristan was very helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely peaceful location. Asked sheila beforehand if basics would b there on arrival and sure enough there was tea, coffee, pint of milk and packet of biscuits We arrived half hour early and sheila had just arrived to clean house after the previous tenant so we went for walk on thebeautiful beach and house was ready when we arrived back. Super comfy bed. So peaceful day and night. Tenants in main house were very quiet. Beach bar less than 10 mins walk was very good value - should book ahead if dining there. We didn't use cooking facilities in house so cannot comment in that regard. Overall loved our stay and would be very happy to re book. Sheila was quick to respond to any queries before we arrived. We put bed linen on to wash before we left but as there was only one washing pod we didn't put on the 2 towels as didn't want to overload washing machine. Would recommend

We loved our weekend in Mullaghmore in Sheena's house, a perfect family getaway. We had our 2 kids & dog and loved it. The sofa & beds are so comfortable. The kitchen has great facilities, and the standout is the incredible location & views. I loved just sitting on the sofa and staring out at the ocean views. We loved exploring local beaches and scenic drives. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful home right in the middle of Mullaghmore village with stunning views. The house is actually nicer than in the photos - it was clean and comfortable, with well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were spacious and three modern, clean bathrooms. Would definitely go back.

Had a lovely time here.The house is really convenient for Enniscrone and was lovely and clean. Mary and Chris were there to meet us upon arrival and even had some scones baked for us. Would definitely recommend!

This was our second stay at Joe and Deirdre's gorgeous home in Sligo. It's a really special location and heavenly to be able to walk out onto the sand from the blue back gate

In all my years visiting the Sligo area, I have never staid at Strandhill before. Highly recommend. Such a cute area, and easy access to the newish trail on the backside of Knocknarae. I will definitely stay there again. Stephen was very responsive and helpful, meeting my friend to let her in (she arrived a few hours before I could). This is such a comfortable stay!

Sheila is kind, helpful, and so generous! The house is perfect— much bigger than it looks in photos and the location couldn’t be better. We had a great holiday.

Great little spot in a fantastic location. It’s small but perfect for a couple or a small group. We’ll be back!

Beautiful views & nice quiet neighborhood with a great restaurant on the corner.

Superb property. Well-maintained and very comfortable. The views from the property were second to none. The property has easy access to the village of Mullaghmore yet is also private. The weather was amazing so spent much of our time eating outside in the beautifully manicured garden overlooking the ocean.

Cosy paradise with breathtaking views I could write an essay on how much I loved my stay here. While the house is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and really spacious, the star of the show is the view - WOW. Sitting on the big comfy chair with a good book and a glass of Prosecco is what dreams are made of. So breathtaking. The house is directly across the road from the beautiful 5km beach and a few mins walk from kids activities and shops and restaurants. The bedroom on the top floor is likely the one you will all be fighting for. En-suite, stunning view and even has its own little dressing room. I couldn’t recommend this place more. We loved it so much we extended our trip by 2 nights. As lovely as the pictures are - they absolutely do not capture how fabulous this house is and how spectacular the views are.

We loved this house, a superb family destination, our 4 kids loved the up stairs play area. The down stairs was wonderfully set up for family meal times. The location is excellent, the kids got a few days of surf school and we saw a good bit of Sligo and got some great tips on what to do from the hosts.
