Barley Hill guest annex, Northumberland.

The annex is a self contained guest suite providing comfortable accommodation (accessed through our house). Comprising a light double room with en suite WC, living area, kitchenette (mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, no hob/oven) and dining space. There is a private garden with table, chairs & BBQ. The shower room is across the corridor from the annex in the main house and you will have exclusive use. The house is located in the North Pennines, a short distance from Derwent Reservoir.

Witton View Cottage

Share two cottages. Why not bring the whole family to Edge Knoll Farm, extended families too, with Wear View Cottage next door in the same courtyard you can hire both cottages and extend your group to eight adults and two infants under two years old. Each cottage has full facilities and are accessible in an invalid chair and roomy bathrooms, each cottage has a cot and high chair. Fully equipped kitchens and outdoor chairs and tables, Witton View has its own patio for that al fresco breakfast.

The Cottage sits near the banks of the River Tees and situated on the Teesdale Way and is a Gateway to Teesdale, Swaledale and Wensleydale. The historic market town of Barnard Castle is less than 15 minutes away. The Lake District National Park is around an hour away, as is the North Yorkshire National Park. From the front door, you can be walking either down stream towards Darlington, or upstream towards Barnard Castle and beyond, with some stunning scenery along the way.
