Stunning cottage, very clean and tidy with a bonus of the hot tub which was easy enough to set up . Located in such a peaceful area with an easy and quick to drive into town.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! We can't wait to come back, thanks so much Grace

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

The house and host couldn’t be any better ! Our second stay at the property and we will be back again for sure !

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

What a wonderful, comfortable, warm and clean house with a beautiful view. It was so tranquil and peaceful looking out at the amazing view. House is very tastefully decorated with everything there that is needed. The hot tub is a brilliant addition, loved it. Laura is a wonderful host and we would highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay! Moya & Gavin were lovely hosts—warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The house is absolutely stunning with an incredible view. Inside, it’s cozy and beautifully done, with everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it feel just like home. We’re definitely planning to come back soon!

Booked a night away for my girlfriends birthday but also I had planned a surprise proposal to her. the cottage had a beautifully decorated outdoor space which was perfect for the proposal. had the most amazing time there, the location was quiet and peaceful, the cottage was beautifully decorated and perfectly finished with all the basic amenities. couldn't recommend this place enough. being pet friendly was also a great feature as we were able to bring our dog for some lovely walks round the local area. Shaun was a perfect host and was very welcoming and helpful upon arrival. 10/10 would definitely be back

Beautiful area with stunning views. Amenities, space and cleanliness were all great, absolutely no hesitation in recommending both Donna the host or this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the area. We will be back again

We choose this cottage due to the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms as one of our party has a disability and this worked really well for him. One bedroom has an ensuite and the other two bedrooms share the main bathroom (no other ensuite as mentioned in the description). Two of the beds are a bit on the small size for us, but we were able to sleep separately in the two rooms which were available. We were blessed with lovely weather therefore able to watch the sunset over the sea in the evening which was breathtaking. There was a fabulous food hamper waiting for us. Michael, the host made us most welcome and recommended the Narrow Quarter Bar & Bistro in Kerrykeel. Good recommendation as the food was amazing, but you need to book as it is very popular. I have marked down for cleanliness as the freezer was completely frozen over and we could not use it. We would definitely return to this cottage purely for its views, rugged and remote location. I

Das Cottage und das Grundstück sind sehr gepflegt und wir hatten wundervolle 4 Tage. Zur Begrüßung stand eine Flasche Wein, Wasserflaschen, ein Kuchen und frische Blumen in der Küche. Das ist sehr aufmerksam gewesen und keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Der County Donegal ist sehr schön und wir haben tolle Ausflüge unternommen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Just lovely wee place.. the fully fenced garden was brilliant for my dog, the garden is huge, the cottage was very cosy, very warm, bed comfortable, shower great. Noreen was a great communicative host and even supplied a ball for my dog!! Would not hesitate to recommend area, property and host... we had bad weather one day, a perfect excuse to just curl up and and indulge In the fabulous home, heat and a book!! Everything was as described, perfectly clean and everything you could want for a short or long stay!!

Beautiful cottage that had everything we possibly could’ve needed. Lovely location which was very central to many places of interest as well as being a short drive away from Dungloe. We had a lovely time 😊

Fijn verblijf in het huisje, met uitzicht op de baai, en op half uurtje lopen van een prachtig strand. Aankomst met brandend haardvuur en fles wijn. Marie is een geweldige host.

Really didn’t want to leave this place. Stunning location with huge windows to watch the sea and the weather go by. The private beach was perfect for our toddler to play in, and lots of space for the dog to run round safely. The house is well kitted out, very spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. We stayed in and cooked a few nights and had everything we needed. Super comfy beds and all the spaces were very clean. Huge dining table and a lovely open plan living space. Louis was on hand to help out when needed, great communication and lots of great info to share about the area. Already thinking about when we can come back.

We had a gorgeous stay in this cottage! It was really cosy, warm, with a big kitchen and a huge bonus was the gorgeous piano!! It was only 25 mins from Lough Eske and about 15/20 mins from Donegal, located in a goegeous secluded country side with beautiful views - so tranquil. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollem Meerblick. Man sollte keinen modernen Luxus erwarten, aber es ist eine gemütliche Wohnung mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer von der Küche aus. Bei dieser Unterkunft stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältnis. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man benötigt für Ausflüge, abendliche Besuche im Pub oder den Einkauf definitiv ein Auto. Die Unterkunft ist demnach bestens geeignet für diejenigen, die dem Trubel entkommen möchten und Ruhe suchen. Das Bad ist etwas retro, aber sauber und bietet viel Platz. Das Bett war angenehm weich. Schade war nur, dass man die Heizung in den einzelnen Räumen nicht separat steuern konnte, da beim Einschalten der Zentralheizung alle Räume gleichermaßen beheizt wurden.

One of my favourite ever Airbnbs! ardara was a lovely place to stay and this place was just perfect. I love a small home and the cottage was absolutely spot on, super comfy bed, comfy couch by the fire, space to read and work, and actually a nice space to make food in too, all in such a lovely traditional cottage. The shower was surprisingly amazing too! Dan gave amazing tips, more than we even had time for! ps I almost forgot we had no WiFi, which a lot of people mentioned, there is phone signal if required which was more than enough!

We stayed at Fionnuala’s Cottage for one week in June 2025; it’s a great base to tour Northwest Donegal. Such a comfortable home from home! Ideal! We had a great holiday👌🏻

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The space is excellent - homely and cosy yet with plenty of room. The open fire is great for cooler evenings. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. There’s also a sunroom on the side of the house which is lovely and bright if it’s not warm enough to sit outside. The cottage is close to beautiful beaches and there are a few shops nearby if you need groceries or fuel. We would definitely stay again!

Checking was super smooth; Donegal town is 10is minutes away; The views were amazing from the kitchen, master bedroom and living room, other rooms had really nice views as well but not the ocean. It was very clean and had a really nice vibe to it - I’d recommend this easily to anyone, the backyard is so serene - would 100% go there again

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was nicely restored, free of clutter and nicely appointed. The cottage was on a very nice rural road, beautifully landscaped and even had sheep across the way. Suzanna also had a welcome book with great recommendations and easy instructions on how everything worked. Would definitely reserve this cottage again given the opportunity.

Thank you Cat for hosting us. Everything was perfect!!!! We felt like home. The lovely, warm fire on was something special too when we arrived.... We look forward to coming back.
