We had a lovely stay, the apartment was pristine and the view made for such a relaxing environment. Spacious with all mod cons. Great tv and recliner chairs! Good location for exploring the local area. Gareth gave great recommendations and was very easy to deal with. Thank you!

I would give Trisha 10 stars if I could! We have stayed in many Airbnb’s and Trisha is an absolute stand out. Her apartment is gorgeous, thoughtfully furnished and beautifully presented. The home made bread, home made marmalade, chocolates, eggs etc. made us feel so welcome. Trisha runs the hairdressers below so is around to make sure you have settled in and are happy with everything. She even kindly offered the use of her washing machine and tumble dryer. Lovely Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion are all in the bathroom for your use as well as a variety of useful toiletries if needed. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful part of town, parking is on the street outside the building. Trisha gave us great recommendations for the area to make the most of our time. One absolute must is a whipped ice cream cone from the newsagent 3 doors down, the best!! We loved our time in Trisha’s apartment, she is the most wonderful host and we highly recommend a stay here.

Marina’s place has a beautiful view of the water and a private beach you can access down a walking path. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs and the place is spacious and very clean. We appreciated the local crisps, homemade cake & milk upon arrival. Marina is a lovely host and even offered to dry our clothes in her home after we were caught in a rainstorm the day before we were leaving. It is only 5 minutes from a market and town making it easy to grab a bite to eat. It is about 30 minutes from Slieve League and I believe it was about the same to Donegal. It is only 10 minutes from the secret waterfall. We found it to be a great location for exploring the Slieve League area and it is a great location if you plan to head north toward Ardara as well.

This place suited our needs perfectly. Donegal town itself is a beautiful place with lots of good pubs and restaurants and plenty to do. We also used it as a base to explore the incredible Donegal countryside. I think this rates as one of the top places we have stayed on AirBnb.

My son and I stayed in Letterkenny to visit ATU. James’ apartment was very comfortable and walkable to a lot of restaurants, etc. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here - a beautiful peaceful location and cosy interior. Loved the high quality bedding and welcome items were much appreciated as we hadn’t had time to pick up essential for a cuppa. Would recommend to anyone looking for quiet restful stay with parking.

Marie’s place is a piece of heaven! Such a great location being so close to the town, but meanwhile having your own quiet lakeside place to relax. Marie was so friendly & helpful and the place was even better than we had thought. Lots of little extra touches in the Airbnb meant it was a very comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage, so cosy and well equipped. Great location for touring, immaculately clean, lovely bottle of wine on arrival from host. Definitely will be back.

This apartment was perfect. Great location for local cafe’s, pubs and nature walks. Tramore beach was about 45mins from the apartment and is a stunning beach! Muck n Muffins across the market for breakfast sets you up for your day.

The ground floor apartment is spacious and clean, with all required amenities except hot water for washing dishes and heating. Not a problem for me (there is a kettle for heating water for dishes and a convector heater for getting warm after getting soaked in rain) but if you come from the tropics you may find it too cold. The shower has hot water luckily. The location is superb for walking the Turas Ghleann Cholm Cille as it is right besides station 10, 11 and 12 so a good start for the walk. Also, the main village with restaurants and pubs, Oideas Gael, and the folklore museum are all within a good walk's distance. Some complimentary items were left in the fridge. Views from the living room cum kitchen are superb.

Great deal! Clean. Nice heat. Warm shower. Quiet. Washer-dryer. Comfy bed. Breakfast fixings. Perfect for us. Aidan gave us a great recommendation for a beautiful beach in Malin—our next stop—and it was magnificent.

Great location with nice views. A big plus for us to accept our Golden Retriever. Overall very good experience, will definitely come back.

Eunan & Michelle's house is beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. They were great hosts, very friendly and helpful, leaving out essential items that were much appreciated as we arrived late in the evening.

The apartment was beautiful and we would recommend staying here. It was really light and airy, and the place was decorated really nicely. It has all the amenities you could want. It was nice and clean too. Christina even let us check in early. The apartment is situated near Malin Head and Five Finger Strand beach in Lagg, which are both really nice areas to visit! Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The place is really nice, modern and clean. It does overlook a bay and the scenery is very beautiful. Sharon and James are really nice people-they were responsive when we had an issue. Donegal is a big county and we only stayed 2 days so we were limited with places we could visit. They also have a miniature horse ‘Poppy’ that was very friendly- my family enjoyed the stay and would go back if given the chance in the future.

This house was a lovely place to stay. We had a gentle evening enjoying some quiet time after having a couple of rough days hiking. My husband was able to work upstarts in a special space prepared by the gracious host! They were also kind enough to let us stay despite an error that had somehow allowed us to only stay for one night when the minimum was at least 2. We have no clue how it happened but we appreciated that they gave us grace and allowed us to stay. They also gave us some washing powder so we could get laundry done, which was desperately needed! The kitchen was great and we were able to stock up on groceries and make our own meals for a day which was a great break from constantly eating gas station snacks! The atmosphere was quiet and homey with the farm animals visible out the window. It's a wonderful place for a quiet couple of evenings.

We had a fantastic time staying at Shelia's place (The Snug). Situated in the quiet village of Dunkineely located between Donegal Town and Killybegs, the accommodation is the ideal base to explore this part of Donegal. The enclosed large garden, which has a wonderful view over the bay, was perfect for our dog Molly. The people of the village were very friendly, there is a Mace 1 min walk away should you need anything and you'll receive a warm welcome (dogs too !!) in Macs Bar if you fancy a pint. We didn't need to contact the host during our stay as we had no problems and everything about the place was perfect. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We plan to make a return visit.

Outstanding view from the living room window, so modern, clean and spacious. Walking distance to the town and right facing the funfair and beach, the apartment was overall beautiful so clean and fresh, Ian was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be recommending to others and will 100% be back thank you Ian for a wonderful stay!

The accommodation was well out and very clean. Lovely sea view from the kitchen window. The hosts were friendly helpful and responsive. The area was very interesting to explore, lots of nice walks/ hikes and beaches. It felt peaceful and safe. Added bonuses - we heard the cuckoo on the Inishowen loop head walk, and had a super day in Derry city, which is only 40 mins by bus from Carndonagh.

The location was great, 5 minutes outside Letterkenny. The host and family were really friendly and approachable. Great apartment and a full kitchen with air fryer etc. I would definitely stay again!

Lovely and quiet stay. Caroline welcomed us and made us feel comfortable right away. She gave us great suggestions on where to eat and what to do in the area. Highly recommend staying here.
