Holiday rentals with lake access in Cortland County

Would go back here in a heartbeat. Beautiful area and we had some rain and we were stuck inside a bit but everything was so comfortable that it was just fine. We mentioned we were hoping to have a bonfire and they had wood waiting for us which was above and beyond. Can’t wait to get back!

This was a great house in a great location. Communication from owners was excellent, and house was well set up for guests. Would definitely stay here again.

michael and his team were great this weekend! i rented this place for my best friends bach and they could not have all been more helpful!! whether it was suggestions of places to eat, things to do, best bars around there, whatever it was, michael has the answer and was so helpful. very accommodating and super helpful with the planning process and made my life a lot easier as the planner of the event! i definitely recommend his air bnb and would love to come back! thank you again for everything michael!!

Beautiful and comfortable lake house with a gorgeous view and easy access to the lake! The kitchen was was well stocked with ample space for our family. We woke up every morning to the sounds of the birds and the water. Carolyn's suggestions for things to do and places to eat were spot on. We loved the hike at Robert Treman state park, walking around the botanic gardens and a visit to the bird lab at Sapsucker woods. Dinner at Hazelnut Kitchen was a delicious treat as well as ice cream at the Cornell Dairy Barn. Overall, I highly recommend this house if you want a peaceful and restorative vacation.

Sean’s property was beautifully maintained and exceeded our expectations. We chose this location for its accessibility, particularly for my elderly mother, and it proved to be an ideal choice. The walk to the lake was easy and convenient, making it even more enjoyable. Sean was highly responsive and communicative, promptly addressing any questions we had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay.

Hello The description listed was perfect and exact. The interior decor is warm and homey. Perfect getaway. Kitchen had everything (we cooked a lot). All utensils/cupboards are super clean and organized. Grill and all garden furniture were impeccable.

This was our family’s first visit to the Finger Lakes and the magical treehouse was such a special find for our stay. It was the perfect blend of historic charm and modern comforts. We found the place to be very comfortable and inviting. We loved the close proximity to Ithaca so days could be easily split between relaxing by the lake and experiencing the fun shops and eateries downtown. A college visit to Cornell for our daughter was also a breeze thanks to the location of the house. Incredible hikes (Watkins Glen was breathtaking) and many wineries are also just minutes away. Just a note…the steps from the driveway to the house are a bit intense so I would caution those with mobility issues.

Three of us stayed at Peggy’s place for a weekend and my only regret is not booking for longer! The location is a dream—right on the lake and only a few minutes drive from the farmer’s market and other must-see places in Ithaca. I hope to come back!

I would certainly stay there again. With every review I give positives and negatives. The key negative was the building is older. This means the floors are a bit uneven, things like that. I've stayed in several places in the NY lakes region and they are all older. only other negative observations were the main TV was on the smaller side and WIFI was spotty at one end of the building. Positives. + Kitchen was in great shape. Appliances all worked well. Lisa left lots of coffee and tea + Lots of room, space for 7-8 people. + Several bathrooms + Heat worked well, water pressure was good, water temperature responsive, utilities all worked well + Great location, right on the main street downtown in a charming village but easy drive to Syracuse (my end location) + Easy check in, parking space included + Lisa's communication was outstanding I felt the apartment was priced well for what I got. Really appreciated the stay and I would certainly do it again.

The apartment was very sufficient for our needs and was clean. The location and people were the real magic of this place! Alex, Angie, and the staff, especially Jen, Bob and Amanda are some of the friendliest and coolest people you will ever meet. We made some forever friends here. It was our first time to the area so having the restaurant and bar, where you get 25% off, and meeting all sorts of interesting people as well as the fabulous staff allowed us to have a unique and amazingly fun experience! Thanks to the highly social atmosphere we found out the best places to go for hikes, waterfalls, restaurants and vineyards as well as other hidden gems that most tourists wouldn’t know about. The lake is amazing for boating, fishing and swimming and they have free Kayaks too. The food and drinks here are also delicious thanks to the smoki’n skills(ribs, brisket) of Chef Bob, & the mixology mastery of Anika! Alex and his staff went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be back! 5*

My friends and I planned a weekend getaway. This was a perfect spot for the 5 of us. We had a wonderful stay in this complex which has 2 units. The unit downstairs, where we stayed, was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The backyard was a great bonus with comfortable chairs, a fire pit, and charming lights—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Eric (host) was incredibly accommodating and responsive through the app, text, and phone, and when we needed extra towels, they were provided very quickly. We highly recommend staying here! The place is within 20 mins drive to downtown Ithaca, various falls/parks, restaurants, bars, etc.

I had a really relaxing time staying at Amanda's place. She was always quick to respond to questions. The place was very clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed the view of the water. The place is a quick drive to Hamilton where there are shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Robyn is wonderful! She is very helpful and incredibly kind. This place is paradise. A very peaceful and relaxing, home away from home. The amenities are wonderful, we were able to kayak and listen to some beautiful records, it was absolutely amazing! You will not regret staying here. Put it on your bucket list:)

We had an amazing stay at Ayesha's Place! Super sweet host, she was flexible with the check in time and greated us with treats! Such an amazing stay in a beautiful location with a stunning trail Ayesha showed us! 5/5 stars and we definitely recommend people to stay here when visiting the area!!!

This location is beautiful! Right on the lake. Easy to go down the stairs to the water. Randall was an excellent host and very responsive. The home is lovely and well kept. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect! We used the canoe and kayaks and had a wonderful time on the lake. We would most definitely rent this again and we’ll keep it on our list! Highly recommend!

Jesse’s place was the perfect cozy-with-a-view getaway. Ideal location, relaxing, well-designed and stocked. Jesse was eager to offer suggestions and very responsive. Hope to visit again!

Frederic's home was lovely, but what stood out was the beautiful lakefront with private dock. Frederic was very easy to work with and extremely responsive to all my questions.

We were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary and family graduations! This location was close to family, nostalgic in that we used to have family reunions on the lake, and very relaxing and comfortable. Aside from the unseasonably cold weather, it was nice to explore the town, enjoy delicious food and enjoy scenic sunsets on the lake! Would love to return with family in the future! Brian and Melissa were very responsive and we didn't have any issues!

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

One of my top two favorite rental spaces to date! Dan has created a space that met any need we had. Every last detail and inch of the space has been so well thought out. A bottle of wine was generously waiting for us upon our arrival. Dan is very thorough in his instructions and communication. He reached out during our stay to make sure we were doing well and didn’t have any issues. The setting is so peaceful whether you are up around the cottage or down by the lake. Our weather wasn’t great, so unfortunately time on the lake itself didn’t happen. We hope to visit again and be able to make use of the kayaks. Fantastic find if you’re looking to get away! We stayed at the cabin for local College Parent's weekend. The location and surroundings are beautiful and convenient to Hamilton, NY. The cabin was clean, cozy, and private. Just what we needed to relax during a busy weekend.
