We had a wonderful week-long stay at this beautiful house. The house is in the middle of a cork tree forest, quiet, green and relaxing. There was plenty for us to do at the house, with the pool, bikes and several spots to relax and for the kids to play indoors and out. The kitchen was large enough and well-equipped for our large group, and the BBQ space really well designed. The sleeping spaces were flexible, with several rooms that could be used as play rooms or bedrooms depending on the size of your group. The host was friendly, communicative and responsive, for instance a flickering light in one of the rooms (which wasn't a big inconvenience) was fixed almost instantly. Highly recommend this home, and look forward to returning in the future!

A beautiful secluded place by a lake. The house is very comfortable and you are in good reach of their family if you need anything! We booked last minute and Caroline responded within 15 minutes. We got a bit lost and arrived after sun down and she offered home cooked food and a delicious banana cake! Their family is very welcoming and friendly and offered to share their kids toys with our young child. Definitely would recommend to go there if you want to stay away from noise and be in a secluded paradise!

My stay at Herdade do Topo, in Serpa, was very pleasant. The house was impeccably clean and the pool is spectacular, perfect for relaxing. The space is comfortable and ideal for those seeking tranquility, although it would benefit from minor maintenance improvements. A less positive point was the location registered on Airbnb, which is not correct and may cause confusion. However, the owner was very helpful and called me before the stay to explain in detail how to get there. For longer stays, it is important to know that, as it is a remote location, there is no garbage collection and guests have to take it to Serpa. Overall, I recommend Herdade do Topo for those looking for rest and privacy, taking into account only these small details.

We had a wonderful stay at Andreias house. It is located rural and very quietly which we enjoyed a lot. The interior is lovingly furnished and communication with Andreia went totally well. We would love to come back one day!

Maria’s house was perfect for our holiday. 15 mins into Grândola in one direction, 15 minutes to the beautiful beaches of the Atentejo coast in the other, surrounded by the forest of cork oaks and stone pines it was idyllic. Maria is a wonderful host, super-friendly and helpful. The house and pool offer an idyllic retreat!

We had a wonderful time at Herdade. Even though the weather was cold & rainy and we didn't spend as much time outdoors as we'd hoped, the house felt warm & cosy and there was lots to keep us entertained (snooker, board games, drum & guitar). João was available on WA and took the initiative to communicate with us to check everything was fine and make us feel welcome.

What an amazing little piece of paradise Filipe and Cristina have to share with their hosts. You feel disconnected from the world, surrounded by beautiful trees, nature, nearby animals from other domains echoing in the background. We were looking for an authentic, peaceful stay and we found just that. The beaches and city of Milfontes are just 12 min away, so you have all commodity of the small local town and the peace from the countryside. Filipe and Cristina are adorable people with a lot of advice to give on nearby activities and locations. My wife, 2 kids and I didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay!

We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is multi-level with several dining areas both inside and out. Well stocked kitchen and modern appliances. Beds are comfy, hot water is plentiful with great pressure. Forest views to the ocean. My husband spent hours walking through the cork forest. Complete tranquility and peace. Incredibly beautiful sand beaches 30 minutes away. The host is very responsive and helpful with many suggestions for activities in the area, complete with Google map links. Although it was just the two of us, the house is perfect for families. We dream of returning for a longer stay.

Spectacular. Very easy communication, all necessary information was passed clearly and in a timely manner. Plenty of flexibility in check-in and check-out times. Very well arranged property, very pleasant and protected pool area, which was very relaxing for us as we were several families with small children. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon! We had a fantastic stay- a great house in a great location. Paula, the housekeeper, was super nice and helpful and the house had everything we wanted for our holiday (the outdoor kitchen area was particularly lovely). Easy access to some fantastic local restaurants and bars in town and a nice walk to the beach along the boardwalk. Comporta is great and would love to return again.

We enjoyed our stay in Burgau. The villa is spacious, lots of space to relax and entertain. Kitchen is very well equipped, there is a small grill. House has lots of stairs though and they are very slippery and have sharp edges. With kids it was a bit tricky, but we managed.

We had such a lovely stay in Comporta! We were visiting friends and truly enjoyed this classic Comporta home. The house was stunning, beautifully decorated with stylish, upscale touches like oversized towels, kitchen essentials, and cozy spaces that felt both elevated and comfortable. It’s perfectly on-brand for the dreamy beach town that Comporta is. The heated pool was a major plus and super easy to use! The location was ideal, just a 5-minute walk to great local restaurants and about 15-20 minutes to the beach. So much to see, do, and soak in… we already can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise. A note for future guests: doors in Portugal lock automatically—don’t forget your keys! We learned the hard way, but the hosts went above and beyond to help us get back in. Unfortunately, we had a last-minute change of plans and had to leave a day early, though we easily could have stayed forever. Highly recommend this beautiful home and incredible hosts!

Very nice house , nice to live in, well equipped except that it was missing kitchen towels and towels for the pool chairs. It's quiet and relaxing . The decor is beautiful! We will be back!

The property is exactly as described, open, fresh, luminous and airy. It is comfortable to share with friends and to cater for a large group indoors and outdoors. There are plenty of options for seating and places to repose with different views across the rice fields. There was every piece of equipment we may need and everything was fresh. The pool was clean and refreshing and particularly lovely in the morning sun. Inês was a wonderful host, check in and check out we did ourselves with clear instructions as we were very late, Inês was not bothered by this and any questions we had she happily answered. I would 100% recommend the location and service and we hope to be back in the coming months!

Excellent in every way. This is by far one my best air bnb experiences. The photos do not do the house justice…it is truly beautiful, pristinely presented and very well-equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. It’s very secluded so a car is a must but because of this it is extremely private and tranquil. Check in and check out were seamless. The hosts are welcoming and very responsive. I really can’t emphasise how wonderful this villa is. I will be recommending it to my family and friends.

A home in the countryside in a quinta while being close to Evora Perfect for visiting Evora and then enjoying the pool

We had a wonderful time in Comporta! Marjolaine’s house was the perfect spot for our group: two families of four plus a set of grandparents. The property is beautifully set up and was a fun place for the kids' Easter egg hunt. We really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was, plenty of glassware, plates, and everything we needed to enjoy multiple meals at home each day. Comporta itself is a charming little village, and the 3-mile walks through the rice fields to the beach were a highlight. And of course, a trip/mulriple to Gulato for ice cream were a hit with everyone. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Armando and Andrea were the most perfect hosts, especially the hostess, with both the rigour of the Germans and a love heart for life!Her room layout is very cozy, the details are very delicate, the hostess's taste is everywhere, we love this place so much, wonderful everything!We will be back! Thank you By the way, the restaurant recommended by the hostess is cheap, you must go and eat it.

We spent one night in Samantha's cozy wooden cottage and had a great time. We are doing the Fisherman's Way and since the structure is 9 km from the last stage, Samantha picked us up with her car We enjoyed his excellent cooking for both dinner and breakfast. It was a wonderful experience to sleep in the midst of nature I also recommend this location for those who are doing the Camino
