Amazing house and gardens. Exceeded expectations in terms of the homely feel, beds and basics in the kitchen available to guests. Had everything you could need. The only thing to note is that it is advertised as a 5 bedroom home however is 4 bedrooms (including the cottage attached to the garage) One person in our group pulled out the week before so we were ok, but if all 5 people came who were expecting their own room only to discover they were sleeping on a fold out sofa in a studio that already has another queen bed, it would not have met expectations.

Jo and Howie offer a beautiful sanctuary to get away to from the busy city life we lead. They are kind and attentive and this shows in the accommodation they offer. we felt spoilt on the king size bed with beautiful linen, the kitchen had all the equipment for cooking a 3 course meal and the property is beautiful and peaceful with easy access to the rail trail next door. Visiting with a baby and a dog was made easy thanks to great washing facilities, a lovely bath and a great amount of space that's well laid out. Thank you for facilitating such a lovely break for us.

We stayed with family and kids over Easter and it was such a treat! The home was even better than expected. It was so well equipped, spotlessly clean and the backyard was amazing with an outlook to the bush and creek. We absolutely loved our time together- thanks Hayley!

Trudies place was fantastic. So sweet & comfy and the perfect little place for our get away with our fur babies it was so secure and we felt so safe having our babies there. It was so well equip with everything we needed very clean we truly felt at home. Thanks for Having us we will be back for sure

My husband and I stayed for two nights (Friday and Saturday night) on our weekend away without children. It was comfortable and in a very quiet location, even on a weekend. I appreciated this aspect of the home, as it is important to me for relaxing. Highly recommend staying here.

I needed overflow accommodation for family members for a wedding. This was perfect for extended family. Two levels, great big kitchen, huge deck, and lots of beds!

Marilyn’s beautiful property is a must-visit. This is our second time coming around to stay and I will always keep it as my first option when visits Rutherglen. Marilyn is an attentive and fantastic host - her home is an extension of who she is and it is simply a warm and welcoming stay filled with parts from her life that are just a joy to be around. The cottage was very comfortable and felt very homely. Bruce was very easy to deal with and very welcoming on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The bedrooms were very big and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tocumwal and surrounds. We will be back!

A lovely place with gorgeous surroundings. We loved the rooms and while it was very cold the heating worked great. One of the fuses tripped a few times but Michelle was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend for anyone wanting some peace and quiet in a lovely area.

A very nice place that was clean and well appointed. The outdoor fire and couch area is fantastic but for the price would have been nice if there was a bag of firewood ($20 at servo) and we couldn’t find fire utensils. Also missing ice trays. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully presented home, spotlessly clean, amazingly comfortable beds. Communication with Chris was bang on. Nothing was a hassle, he even organised fire wood for the fire pit for us. We will definitely be looking at staying here again. Felt just like home. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to stay The house was set up as requested with the bedrooms having king and single bed set up and with the bedrooms having their own ensuites was perfect for a golf trip. Walking distance to Black Bull Golf Course was ideal and the outdoor area looks out onto the first green and short walk to Sebel Hotel. Easy check in with door code and Briant was very warm and engaging as a host and clear with instructions. Poker set was a hit as well as the pod coffee machine and the outdoor area was great to sit around and relax. Perfect place to stay for a golf trip.

Thank you Faye for providing us with a lovely tiny home. It was easy to find, easy to check in, and has all the things we need for a nice weekend getaway. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bright/surrounding areas.

Cate’s cottage is absolutely gorgeous! Set on a beautiful property on the banks of the Murray River and yet only a short drive to Corowa, it is a true rural retreat. Cate was so friendly and very easy to communicate with during the booking process. The cottage itself is well equipped and clean and very comfortable. Exactly as presented in the photos on the booking site. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning enjoying our coffee while various birds flitted around in the trees and paddocks close by. And in the evenings, while sipping on a glass of wine, we were serenaded by a beautiful chorus of birdsong. We enjoyed the lovely walks along the banks of the river and my dog just loved chasing sticks and playing in the water! Then of course, was the fun of the open fire and toasted marshmallows… really took me back to childhood adventures. 🙂 We will definitely be returning. 🧡
